It was our second stay here because previously we really liked it so much here (me and my dog) that we wanted to stay here also on a way back. My dog recognized the place and was very excited to be back. Food, service, gardens and people are great.

This time around we got a different room (15 or 16?) and that room's bathroom needs some serious revamp. The ceiling looked like there was mould and the shower corner was kinda scary. I didn't feel good there. The rest was still wonderful (food, service, gardens,...), but if you take into account that you don't have wifi in the room and the bathroom is scary, the price is not adequate. But that's just in comparison to other states we drove through. I figured out in France, everything was more expensive, so maybe the price is normal there. Last time, we gave 10. now it was 8.

Wonderful stay, my favourite one during my roadtrip to Portugal from CZ, very nice people. Dog friendly, he abolutely loved the gardens (and mainly because we were there almost alone he had the place for himself). He could also be in restaurant, which meant I could finally eat. :)) Loved that place. Very calming.

The only disadvantage was that wifi didn't reach out to my room which was a mini complication, since I needed to book another hotel for the next day etc. And after a long trip, you want to do that from bed.

This is my second stay at Auberge des Pins as I seem to pass through Sabres during my cycling adventures in the area (this time Pau to Bordeaux mini break). It never disappoints: Bike friendly place, friendly staff, spacious clean rooms with view to green quiet garden/park. And the restaurant is, without a doubt, the best in town!

The fabulous part of this little inn is the location and the restaurant - one of the best meals we had - like stepping back in time but that's not always a bad thing and the dinner was worth the stay. delicious classical French cookery and a great wine list.

The rooms were rather basic though evidently there is a gradual process to update and decorate them.

Lovely hotel

We booked this hotel as it stated that it had a restaurant and bar we had been travelling most of the day and were looking forward to having a nice meal and a drink the whole hotel looked like it was closed we gained entry to our room via a message and a phone call no one to great us.

The main building is very beautiful! The sleeping quarters are also rather stunning. We had a delicious breakfast in the lovely outdoor seating area, surrounded by greenery and flowing shrubs. Good value and very peaceful and tranquil! Our dog was welcome too. Had a drink in the bar in the evening, which was great. Thanks a lot!

A great old style hotel set in large well kept gardens. Very peaceful. A very friendly and helpful reception, a decent room with balcony, very good shower and really excellent bed. The food is top notch, on a par with some Michelin starred restaurants I’ve eaten in, and the house red was dark and full bodied. As a result it is fairly expensive, but worth it.

Although the hotel itself feels slightly dated and stuck in the 1980's it was a very pleasant and peaceful place to stay after a long drive. Only one word to describe the restaurant, amazing! Try the regional Menu, you won't be disappointed.

Hotel did feel a little outdated and could really do with an overhaul. Fresh paint, new curtains and new showerheads would, in my opinion, already go a long way.

Lovely location and downstairs room with an outside terrace on large garden with grass and trees. Nice evening meal and they catered for my gluten and dairy free diet

The rooms are a bit tired but adequate

We liked the cleanliness of the establishment and the customer service was very good.

The breakfast service was not so good. There was no interaction from staff and was not as good value for money as the evening meal.
