The location was perfect very quiet and tranquil. It was perfect for a relax read and swim. The sun loungers were soft and there was always enough to go around. We had Suite O which was self catering so we did our own breakfast and used the BBQ for dinner. One evening we walked to the amazing L’Auberge Michelin starred restaurant which was delicious. This is a perfect place to unwind. Ayse the host is very friendly - left us to ourselves, but was happy to give recommendations when we asked. She gave us a good tip for restaurants for our next stop in Bordeaux. The Chateau is stunning.

We were staying in pavilion - fantastic location with great view to the river and chateux. Cosy little private garden with BBQ. Heated pool next to the pavilion. The facilities of chateaux very well maintained and modern design well integrated with the antiquity. The gardens well maintained. The host Ayse is extremely friendly, generous and helpful- loved chatting with her. We had great time!

Cleaning could be imporved - some dust, few dishes were greasy, lots of cobwebs, bedding made up inside out etc. But this didn't make our stay less comfortable, as the place is fantastic!

This is a beautiful chateau, very well maintained with nice grounds and a great sized pool. The hostess was so friendly and attentive and the breakfast on the patio was really excellent. We booked a family room which was really 2 very large interconnected rooms including a four poster bed! The chateau has a very comfortable living room and a pool table if you need to escape the sun. For dining locally we followed a recommendation to go to Auberge St Jean a fine dining restaurant 5 mins walk away which did not disappoint.

nothing at all.

Stunning location, quiet but with all the amenities that you need. The host was so genuine and happy to help us and just wanted to make sure we had an incredible time. Yet equally we felt like we were in our own space and not being hassled at all. Such a careful and fine balance. Great place to explore the local vineyards, local restaurants are incredible. Room was large with kitchen and everything we needed.

No complaints at all

Everything about our stay here was simply fabulous! Prior to the stay, communication was brilliant with tips and advice on where to book restaurants etc. Our welcome from Ayse, with a lovely glass of local wine, was friendly and made us feel at home straight away. I cannot speak highly enough of our room (we were in the Patio Suite), and my parents room (the O Suite). Everything was sparkling clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable with extra bedding/pillows/blankets available as required. The bathtub in the Patio Suite was so lovely I felt like a princess when bathing! We were there to celebrate my mums 75th birthday and Ayse went above and beyond for us, providing a private area and great food for a breakfast celebration. The hotel grounds are lovely and well maintained and the pool is a great area with heated water to enjoy a swim. Ayse is the most perfect hostess; she was welcoming, friendly and super helpful with her suggestions and even called to make reservations at restaurants and a local wine tour for us. I/We HIGHLY recommend you take some time to spend a few nights in this wonderful place :)

Everything was simply brilliant, I cannot fault it at all. One suggestion would be an iron in each room - I had to borrow one from mums suite, but thats not a big deal!

Beautiful chateau on the banks of the Dordogne with amazing view and grounds. Fabulous decor and furnishings in the communal areas and bedrooms. Delightful 2 room suite with splendid bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Did not use the pool, but it looked great. Host was very friendly and helpful with a great dinner recommendation for dinner nearby at Caffè Cuisine

Squeaky four-poster bed in the Capri suite

The chateau is beautiful. We had a private cottage next to the pool and had plenty of space for me, my husband and teenager. We cooked several meals in and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was located perfectly to visit the surrounding vineyards, St.Emelion, and Bordeaux. The hostess was helpful and very nice as was the owner. Breakfast was fantastic as was the restaurant that was suggested.

The bed could have been more comfortable. It was a little too hard for my taste but we were so tired it didn't matter.

This chateau completely exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the tree house, tucked away overlooking the Dordogne River. We were surrounded by nature and the tree house was rustic and elegant. Our host was very helpful and charming, and helped us with finding the best restaurants and places to visit. She was the best host ever! The breakfast basket was superb and highlighted the best in French country eloquence. We will be coming back and definitely will recommend this chateau to our friends!

Very nice with all the features one would expect with a Chateau including a pool. Great interaction and recommendations from staff as to places to eat from pizza to first class dining which were within walking distance. beautiful location on the river as well. very good breakfast and lounging areas. Easy to mingle with other guests. Easy to get to Saint Emilion and other places including catching the train to Bordeaux for a visit.

Nothing that I can remember.

The cottage we rented was spacious and in a beautiful setting. The grounds and pool setting were lovely and the peace and quiet an added bonus. About a a 10 drive to St Emillion and close to many activities and amenities.

For the price it would have been nice if some basics were supplied e.g. salt, pepper, sugar and milk to start.
