Good sea views on western side of island, easy access to shore, which is sandy but rocky in water so not suitable for swimming. The pool looked good but weather too wet and cold during our stay so could not use. Good low level arrangement of rooms so everyone had a small balcony space.

Getting to and from the port town was not so easy as expected: too much traffic, large campsites everywhere so difficult to walk comfortably and local restaurants filled up quickly. You really need to like shellfish to eat here, not much diversity and the hotel only offers a basic bar and microwave service, with no eating facilities in our room so options limited.

The location is picture perfect, literally. It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

Lovely spot 10 mins walk from the port, with low level buildings around a nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, and a boardwalk access to the grounds. Our room overlooked the gardens and tennis courts, and was nice and quiet. We had a split level room with a kitchenette which was great alongside the BBQs on site. Mere steps from the beach and a great spot for watching the sunset.

Kitchen could do with a grater but otherwise well stocked for such a small space.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful; quite exceptional and friendly service. The location adjacent to the beach gave us a wonderful view of the tide coming in during the evening. The breakfasts were very generous and the pool was lovely; warm and very clean.

Our room was slightly dark and could have done with some more power points. The window was too large and couldn’t be left open (which may be an issue in hot weather).However, the room was comfortable and the bathroom had been modernised to a high standard.

Lovely location. Our room had partial views of the ocean and we enjoyed nice walks. The bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely. A separate toilet is always a plus. The pool area is lovely, but we didn’t manage to use it due to the weather. It’s close to the centre which has lovely restaurants and shops.

It’s expensive for just a room with no comfortable seating and breakfast is not included. The room description states there is a tea/coffee machine, but there was just a kettle.

Recently refurbished, the rooms are beautifully decorated with sea themes. Some overlook the sea but there is a dip and dune between so don’t expect too much. Others overlook the lovely tended gardens and pool. The breakfast was delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. English spoken.

This is more of a motel and the sign outside says so. It is advertised as being on the beach but there is a huge slab of rock going out to the sea and not much sand, don’t be fooled by the photographs! The hotel is a good 20 minute walk to the centre and there is only one restaurant close by.

The hotel & pool/garden areas are very attractive & well maintained with plenty of parking & right by a beach. All staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good with options to eat outside on terrace or by the pool. Rooms and bathrooms were bungalow style in the gardens & were clean & comfortable.

Nothing to dislike at all about the hotel. It is a 15 minute walk to the village & restaurants. Remember to take the gate code as at night the gates are locked for pedestrians as well as cars!

Check in went well with the lady on reception speaking English to help us out. The room was spotlessly clean, bright and spacious and had a wonderful beach/coastal feel to it. Situated on the coast and a minute's walk down to the beach. Would like to have stayed longer!

Limited choice of drinks at the bar/reception and could only purchase wine by the bottle which, as it was late afternoon and we were going out for dinner and only staying for one night, meant there was wastage!

Lovely quiet setting with an easy 15 min stroll to la cotiniere for shops, restaurants etc, the gardener does a beautiful job keeping it tidy but still maintaining a natural overall style, the room was spotless, and the bed the most comfortable I have ever slept in, so much so that I checked out mattress make for when we replace ours at home.

Would be nice if some steps were created to access the beach easier. It was a bit of a challenge getting down the rocky bank.

The hotel was clean, our suite was large and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Well situated, very short walk to the beach and a nice stroll to the harbour for a variety of shops and restaurants. Dog friendly is also a massive plus for us.

A small thing, but the hotel wifi is weak so if staying connected is important to you bear this in mind, as phone signal was also poor too. But the phone and Internet signal on the island isn't really the fault of the hotel so I can't mark them down for that!
