It was a beautiful place and maintained well. The mattress was comfortable and the room was very quiet. Climate control worked well. Room service and restaurant dinners were prompt and delicious. Front desk staff were all very helpful and responsive, with a young lady working the evening shift (I do not recall her name) particularly helpful to my wife who had injured her knee and needed help getting to the spa. The valet Gabriel was always cheerful, kind, and thoughtful. Both are great assets to Vallon in my opinion. Maids and evening turndown staff were all very generous too. Glad we stayed here after much deliberation.

The desserts at the bar were disappointing. My wife’s pastry was dry, and my portions of sorbet were quite small. Service in the bar seemed devoted more to large groups than to couples. We noted this to front desk who called the bar, but nothing changed. The pool area is nice and the pool barman was great, but in late May the water was too cold for use. The jacuzzi in the spa was rather tepid in my opinion. Shower water pressure was great. However the very “low flush” toilet warrants improvement somehow to avert unpleasantness.

The facilities and room were fantastic and the pool area very relaxing with excellent pool staff who were friendly and efficient. The concierge Julien was outstanding providing us with wonderful recommendations and went out of his way to assist.

The staff in the main bar and restaurants were incredibly disappointing. The level of service they provided was very poor and bordering on lazy, just ordering a drink and snack was a challenge as they just ignored you and continued talking to each other. I would recommend moving the pool bar staff into the main restaurant as they were outstanding and worked incredibly hard in comparison.

Reception was excellent, very responsive and pleasant. The shuttle was very useful, never kept us waiting more than 5 minutes and flexible, really enhanced our stay. The outdoor pool is lovely, unfortunately during our stay it was quite cool a large part of the time. Breakfast was good, varied and plentiful, but pricey!

beautiful location, grounds and staff are fabulous. Great bar area and spa too.

What I would really appreciate is a proper kettle in the room as the coffee machine does not produce water hot enough for tea. A cheaper coffee and croissant breakffast option would also be appreciated. x

Staff seemed very preoccupied not that pleasant except the driver Brian a sound helpful guy In the Bestro not enough staff food just dumped for the cost poor value 😞

Beautiful location and gardens. Lovely pool. Fantastic staff. Safe parking. Fantastic breakfasts.

Had one fantastic meal in the restaurant and one which was not hot, however they didn’t charge for the main course and did apologise.

Wonderful staff and service. We had an issue with our room and they were quick and happy to re-assign us a new one.

The only minor criticism is that the hotel is a moderate walk to the center of town, however, they have complementary shuttle service for those who do not wish to walk.

The property was amazing, the garden well taken care of and with the amazing big pool to relax by. Also this place is super pet friendly so we could fully relax and enjoy the company of our dog. Our Mia was even served a snack at the gastronomic restaurant. the Restaurant is a highlight and I can highly recommend the place.

The only thing i have a remark on is that the place was that our room needed a small facelift and the carpets in the hotel needs cleaning or a change bit worn down.

Amazing hotel with a beautiful pool. Rooms were comfortable with nice air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious. The shuttle is available to go into and out of town, which is close enough to walk, but in the heat of summer, a welcomed amenity!

Food was quite expensive

Good size room. Free parking opportunity at the hotel. The breakfast was amazing.

The hotel is a bit used, should renovate soon, therefore I would say more 4 than a 5 stars hotel. Evening receptionist less helpfull but more selfconfident😄
