Very interesting location almost inside the ecomuseum. Traditional houses are devided into few appartments, where you will be staying. THere is a decent restaturnant on the location where breakfast and dinner is served. Quality is decent, variety is ok, but not outstanding. It will be less choise if more people are around, on the weekdays we even had a fresh orange juice to squezze, but for the WE it was removed to avoid crowd around.

Hope for a quiet neigbours, apartments inside the same house have very bad noise isolation between rooms.

This hotel is super cute and you are going to be immersing in that farm/village simple lifestyle. The lodges are 2 floors. Living room and bathroom at the bottom and the bedroom at the top. It is cosy and spacious and very quite at night time. Perfect for a good night of sleep. The bed was comfortable, towels and sheets were of good quality. I had a great time there.

Only thing was the shower floor, grouts and walls need a better cleaning, you can see the black mold dots, where the water accumulates.

I was warned to book a dinner reservation for the Tavern - so that worked well. Les Loges are attached at one end of the Ecomusee de L’Alsace. Loved that on the Sunday I arrived they were having a folk festival - so there were groups of 2-3-4-5 musicians (maybe 6-7) at different buildings throughout the village. It was delightful!! And at several, a musician would step out to lead a dance.

I speak a little French, and the staff spoke even less Anglais, so that was challenging. Menus are bilingual in French, or Alsatian German…. So it’s a little hard to know what you are ordering. I asked about the Alsatian salad, and then ordered the meat and cheese board, but got the salad — which was good. Transport: Very difficult to get there without a car— you have to taxi. I took a taxi from Mulhouse to the Ecomusee in Ungersheim, 47 euros. Once there, I was able to get a taxi to the local Bollwiller train station, 8 euros. But, don’t expect the taxi to be able to get right there! Book the night before if you have a specific train to catch!

These are individual cabins that were well equipped in a quiet, rural setting.

The hotel didn't recognize the genius discount offered by Booking.com, which I'm not sure is their fault. This was the first time this happened and it happened later again. It seems Booking.com offers discounts that the properties aren't aware of, or don't know how to handle. It's really unpleasant because you need to negotiate with the proprietor rather than enjoy your holiday!

The property's location near the ecovillage is fantastic. The property itself is visually appealing, particularly from the outside, showcasing its charming and inviting facade.

If you are comfortable with spiders and bugs and enjoy being close to nature, then the property would be suitable. However, if you have concerns about spiders and bugs, it is important to note that there were sightings of these creatures on the terrace. Additionally, the comfort of the mattress was not satisfactory.

Nice and authentic place to stay. In one house there are 4 boxest, each has their entry. Each box is has a living space with sofa and tv, bathroom, on the floor there is a sleeping space with several beds. One box is roomy, for exemple suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Little villas hidden in the countryside:, ideal to find peace and silence at night. Somehow fairy atmosphere. Kind personnel.

One big minus: 14€ for breakfast could be justified if artisanal / local products were offered: unfortunately it was not the case. Furthermore deceiving for an environmental oriented structure (Ecomuseum). I'd suggest the management to consider this point for the future.

Exceptional setting in historic houses | cosy (leaf covered) terrace with tasty regional food | friendly staff | plenty of parking space close to the room | great breakfast

Minor incident falling through my daughters bed when I wanted to join her for a goodnight story. Luckily managed to fix everything as it was.

It was lovely and comfortable. The staff we really helpful, they even kept our bags in reception whist we were at the park. Our daughter said it was the best hotel of the trip.

We didn't hire a car, so we found it a bit difficult to get to, but you can get a taxi from Bollwiller station.
