It’s my second time in this hotel. My stay went smoothly, I especially appreciate the location, the beauty of the lobby, spacious and clean rooms, easy access to the SPA center. Love the rooftop swimming pool, warm and not crowded! The hotel is close to the river bank, which is great for the walks. The town center is also just a stone throw away. The underground parking is just 30 meters away.

The wifi is free, but the connection is not great. Couldn’t watch the film… Had to use my own Internet even for the social media scroll. The bar in the lobby is the definition of sadness. There was no music, no fire (there is a great chimney and it was almost Christmas, would be nice to see it lit). At 21-30, the barmen asks to pay and the service stops)) Also I didn’t like the breafast much, it was ok for a 3-4 star hotel, but not for the best hotel of the town… Limited variety, plus the crêpes were really stiff and impossible to cut with a knife.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, which was spacious and comfortable. The entire hotel, including the room, had a really nice, fresh smell. Everything was exceptionally clean and the housekeeping service was available twice a day, which kept everything spotless throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. One unexpected highlight was the rooftop pool — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun.

While the hotel itself is a bit dated, this was barely noticeable due to how well-maintained and clean it was

I would have appreciated written instruction on how to operate the shower, the lights, and the TV. The operation of the shower was particularly frustrating. The TV did not work in the first instance and I had to speak to the front desk. Likewise there was no indication that Wifi was available without a password without speaking to the front desk. In the night I would have liked to ONLY switch on the bedside table light without all the other lights in the bedroom area.. A written instruction sheet in the room would have saved all the frustration. I also think the ability to drive up at the front of the hotel to offload luggage was not clearly available and it was a struggle to bring the luggage up from the car park across the road

Really expensive breakfast. Toilet was angled strangely so difficult to sit on straight! Staff quite abrupt.

Room was very nice, overlooking the park. generous size with comfortable beds. Very clean. Breakfast was very nice, good selection, pretty location.

The hotel needs an overall clean up and maintenance. For a landmark hotel, it is showing signs of wear and tear and is looking a bit tired. The air conditioning was not up to the task of dealing with the heat during our stay. The room was very hot and did not cool off until the temperature outside came down and we could open the windows.

Our room with a park view was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and large. The front desk service was efficient and welcoming. We appreciated the staff parking our car. We used the thermal spa and enjoyed our half hour there. Also the open pool on the 7th floor was a surprise treat. Breakfast was plentiful. Common areas in the hotel (such as the bar and outside terrace) were inviting. We loved the location along the park and riverfront, also the historical park across the street. All-in-all, a very pleasant stay.

The spa building is very large and offers many services. We would have enjoyed having more water possibilities available to all in the spa that didn't include specialized reservations.

Great position next to the park and river. A typical, large 5* hotel, but very nicely decorated, with a lovely bar and terrace area and an excellent room, with the best bathroom lighting I have ever had! We were only passing through, but this made an excellent and relaxing stop-off, and right on top of the main historic city area for a nice evening walk.

I felt paying for parking was a bit much on top of a 5* room price, but at least it was a secure underground car park, and with a classic car that was reassuring in a city centre.

I stayed twice within 7 days. Both rooms were very clean. I love the location of the hotel: in the park and with a direct access to the SPA. Very friendly and helpful staff. An excellent breakfast

The hotel pool was closed. I don't like that dogs are not allowed at a bar and a restaurant. I always travel with my small dog. Most of the hotels are not as restrictive.

my second visit. the spa is one of the best in the world. the bed is very comfortable. I was lucky to stay on the 3rd floor with est access to the spa. the bar, restaurant and service is great. there was a lovely musician in the bar on Saturday night

I appreciated the pool

There was an unfortunate problem on the second day over dinner. There did not seem to be accurate communication between the bar and the restauant, resulting in my being told I could not have dinner as I had not booked in spite of being told in the bar where I had an aperitif that no booking was necessary. I appeared to be about to end a lovely stay on a very bad note. Fortunately the man in charge of the restaurant worked some sort of magic and the smile and excellent service of Elliot calmed the situation and I had a lovely evening obliterating a memory of the very tardy service in the bar.
