Lovely clean modern room, comfortable beds . Nothing too much trouble for our hostess who made us and our 2 dogs very welcome. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and reasonably priced.Highly recommend the duck, cooked to perfection. Nice little garden with a pool (didn't get a chance to use it) but the dogs liked the garden. Also a lovely Roman bridge a short walk away.

We arrived really early and we were aware reception didn't start until 17.30 but the hotel was locked up and we didn't know at the time that we could use the garden, so we had to drive into the village to waste 4 hours!

We stopped overnight on our way south for further holiday - my husband, two kids and dog. The staff was incredibly welcoming. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was delicious, with grown-up food our kids actually ate! Breakfast was complete. Rooms were small and simple but comfortable with functioning airco and reasonable sound-proofing. We were sent off the next day with good advice on child-friendly attractions in the area.

Nothing to improve - the host's English was limited, but so is my French - and we were, after all, in France. We both made an effort and it worked!

We picked the hotel for it's location and it proved to be an inspired choice. Everything about our stay exceeded all expectations! There was absolutely nothing not to like about Le Relais du Vivarais!

The owner was a delightful and friendly personality. Nothing was too much trouble, even cut my dog a plate of ham for breakfast! Clean, comfortable and functional room coupled with nicely prepared French cuisine.

very nice place conveniently close to the via rhona for cyclists. very nice owner who washed and dried out cycling clothes. Our bikes were parked in a closed garage. The rooms are nice and clean. The dinner was very good with a good choice of local drinks. The breakfast was good. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a two night stay and we ate at the hotel both nights. Food good first night, excellent the second night. There is lots of potential for improvement of the grounds surrounding the property but it had great charm.

Not much choice at breakfast. Too much sweet pastries, no cereal.

Excellent parking, friendly staff. We were worried about the noise from the trucks on the road, but it was not a problem.
