High quality, quiet, comfortable rooms. Mini bar with a nice choice of juices and sodas. Comfortable beds with fluffy duvets, very good spacious showers. The bathrooms are quite uniquely equipped with a small TV screen! Tasty breakfast with a large selection of warm and cold options.

We like to go on walks, but there are apparently none nearby. At least, there was no information and on the hiking Apps the closest suggestion is in Bad Arolsen.

I have never felt more welcome at the end of a long journey than I was at this hotel. Nestled in an Altstadt on the site of Bad Arolsen, the hotel is meticulously clean & optimally comfortable. The entire staff demonstrates a hospitality that is, at the same time, consummately professional and genuinely courteous. My 5 day stay in a King suite provided me with the privacy I needed for my work. This is a place for clearing one’s mind, journaling, walking and meeting people from all parts and regions of Germany, and beyond. I give it my highest recommendation.

The respectful, courteous and well trained staff —— reception, restaurant, and housekeeping. The location. providing invigorating , pure, fresh air to soothe persons such as myself with an orchestra of predawn birds singing guests into each new day.

Very nice, well maintained, clean place. We liked the combination of old castle and new tech solutions. Responsive staff (via e-mail).

Mixed feedback regarding comfort of beds (kids sofa wasn’t best, main bed a bit too soft, matter of taste). Staff in the morning didn’t even notice us during breakfast. Speaking of which, breakfast was rather disappointing, quality of food not great (fresh scrambled eggs would be much better than this standing for a long time in the heater). Overall it was a bit too expensive.

The room was wonderful: with the most modern features. The shower, after using many showers in very elegant hotels specially lately, was very well designed: no water was over the floor outside the shower. I could open my window and get fresh air. The decoration of my bed was like for a little princess! The food in the restaurant was excellent starting with a magnificent breakfast

Really great room on ground floor, lots of space for family. Great breakfast in hotel with the posibility to eat outside on a sunny morning. Quite location in village, easy access and good parking on site.

Room was quite warm and aircon didn't seem to help at all. Had to keep all windows open throughout the night.

the room could have been a little larger. this was our third time at this hotel and we always stayed in the same room. it was probably because we travel with our dog. but next time, we would like to try another room in this beautiful hotel:).

the staff was very helpful and friendly. Lots of parking space despite a big wedding occasion at he same day.

The food was ‘basic’., not fine dining. But it tasted nice and was plentiful. Typical German cuisine. .

Highly professional and friendly staff, excellent restaurant with amazing wine list. The room was bigger than expected with high quality bed linen which made our stay super comfortable. Overall, wonderful property and extraordinary price-performance. Would love to go back.

We love this hotel. Have stayed on several occasions and have never been disappointed. We managed to sit outside for dinner this time and it was lovely. Food was deicious, room wonderful, breakfast excellent. Just go!
