A perfect location to be close to our family reunion nearby. We had a very comfortable room, with two big windows overlooking the Kurpark, a spacious bathroom, and located on the first floor, which was accessible by lift or stairs. We were welcomed by the lovely receptionist on arrival, who explained everything clearly. The breakfast buffet was adequately served with the usual German cheeses/cold meats, cereals, fruit salad, yoghurt, eggs, bacon and fresh breads, rolls, croissants. We also had dinner here on arrival, which we enjoyed and meant we didn't have to drive anywhere else. Lucky for us, the annual Christmas Market happened to coincide with our stay and was a lovely bonus.

The hotel is a splendid building situated on the edge of parkland. Parking is available in a private car park to the side of the hotel. Check in was easy and staff were very pleasant. Bad Salzhausen is a very quiet little village with the hotel situated at the very end of the village. It never got very busy. Our bedroom was enormous as we were on the corner of the hotel so we had windows overlooking 2 different aspects. We had a fridge with complimentary water each day and mini bar if required. We had a table and chairs to sit at and lots of wardrobe space. We stayed for 4 nights and ate in the restaurant once. Breakfast was good and the evening meal was very substancial which is typical of German food.

Very pleasant village. Large spotless room. Good choice of evening menu. Free on-site parking. Professional and friendly staff. Just across the road at the front is a pleasant parkland area for an evening walk. Would certainly make this a stop-over again.

We travelled during a particularly warm period. Although a fan was provided in the room, air-conditioning would have been preferable.

Only problem was with breakfast. It should start at 7 am, but nothing warm was ready about this time, even water for tea.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area with parks where you can walk and relax greatly. The room was spacious and nicely equipped with 2 comfortable extra chairs and a side-table. The breakfast was extensive and with wide opening hours. If the weather is a bit nice, you can use the terras in the front of the hotel with great view on the area.

Maybe, instead of serving a can of standard coffee at breakfast, ask the visitors what they would like to have. Maybe it is a cappuccino or another way of coffee.

Large comfortable room, beautiful common areas, lovely breakfast, excellent staff. We enjoyed the feel of the spa town with the park, strolling through the spaces was very calming and relaxing.

No air conditioning in rooms. Small fan was to weak to handle the heat and we were literally cooking in the room.
