Really great value for money. Hosts were really helpful. Comfy bed and very spacious!

The hotel incorpoates a café with good food and breakfast choices. Everything was freshly made and of high quality. A good choice of coffees and teas was available. Check-in was easy although we arrived late. The room was very spacious and the shower had decent water pressure. There is a great choice of books to read in each room and downstairs in the cafe. Everything has been decorated with love and care. There are many artifacts adorning the walls from the former GDR, however it doesn't feel nostalgic.

Pretty and quaint little place with a gorgeous cafe adjoining the hotel (the baked goods smelled and tasted divine in the morning!). My single room was small but very clean and had everything I needed. The bed and bedding were comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling!

It was a warm evening when I stayed and I needed to have the window open to stay cool, but unfortunately the road outside is extremely noisy and it meant I didn't sleep well. Trams were running past until late at night and from early in the morning, and the traffic noises woke me up at regular intervals throughout the night.

Lovely freshly baked and good coffee. Courtyard lovely. Hotel was so quirky and atmospheric. Everywhere we looked there was something else different to catch our eye, like the China teapots and jugs used as tiebacks for curtains, open books for lampshades. Not to mention inverted cup and saucers as shades over small lights. Yes ! Alexandra was very helpful in organising a hair appointment for me as I was there to attend a wedding. Staff very pleasant and helpful in general. Loved it.

It’s my second stay in the hotel, i love the vibe with the poets and the books in the rooms, it’s super cozy and the cafe at the ground floor is also very nice with food options and nice decoration

It isn’t not near the city center (about an hour with public transport) and the neighborhood is very quiet with no options when the night drops.

It is a very special hotel. According to the owners, it was a library before. After they had this place, they decorated it again but kept the books as the theme. The rooms are named after the popular authors. You can find the author's books in the bedroom. If you like reading, it is a paradise for you. Meanwhile, the breakfast is fantastic. It is the best-ever Baguette in Berlin, very fresh and warm.

Very clean, comfortable beds, excellent shower, friendly staff and the attached café was great - their bread (baguettes) were fantastic. The pluses far outweigh what I didn't like. Unfortunately, my German wasn't good enough to take advantage of all the books (in the room and on the shelves).

The location is a little noisy as it's close to an intersection however they provide ear plugs and the double glazing is very thick. It does mean that you can't open the windows if you want to keep the noise down. Booking.com gave this hotel as "with parking" using their filter, but be aware that parking is either on the street outside or in a small (free) parking lot opposite. If you arrive later in the day, it might be difficult to find a spot.

Very cute little hotel. Nice courtyard, very helpful staff, lovely to be able to get coffee and croissant from the cafe for breakfast. Very clean, modern bathroom. Good price. Earplugs were useful. Right next to tram station.

I had windows out to a busy street, so the earplugs came in handy. For the low price I paid I can accept a little noisyness but is still a little annoying of course.

Lovely decorated rooms with a book theme. Each room is dedicated to a famous German scholar. The rooms were finished nicely and were comfortable. I loved the courtyard the most, it was quiet and green.

I couldn't get a cup of coffee early in the morning. As I was travelling for business, I needed to get up and running at 6:00 am.
