My second stay here, but hopefully not the last! Gorgeous location, comfortable room, amazing restaurant and fantastic breakfast. Don’t look any further!

Beautiful view from the room. We didn‘t stay long enough time to take advantage of the private terrace.

A number of things were missing that would have made our stay more comfortable. There were no drinking glasses. A second pillow would have been nice. A lamp or light fixture on the desk would have made the room more functional for us.

The hotel is located in a tranquil rural setting. Our room had a good sized balcony that overlooked the fields and woods to the rear of the property. It was very quiet. The room was immaculately appointed and clean. Very comfortable and modern. The shower room was very clean and well equipped. Eggs and pancakes are cooked to order at breakfast. There is a lift which is just as well as the accommodation is arranged over several floors.

The hotel's own restaurant was not open on the night we stayed. This was disappointing as it was not in the hotel description. Fortunately we had enough notice to make alternative arrangements. As it was the owners day off when we arrived they had left the necessary paper work and room key on the reception desk for us to find. However, although this worked fine it all felt a bit impersonal. We only got to met them briefly at breakfast and on checkout.

We loved everything about our stay at Hotel Fuxxbau. From the incredible location, nestled into a mountain valley where there was an stunning view from every room, to the charming, modern room with everything we needed to the unbelievably good cuisine served fresh daily by our AMAZING hosts, our stay was even more than we expected.

Beautiful place, great room and staff, wonderful breakfast and dinner, very convenient parking, Very relaxed atmosphere, very convinient check-in.

Everything was perfect -- except for the location. The place is remote and good only for a car traveller who does not want to eat out or experience local nightlife.

This is a lovely hotel run by a nice couple who do everything to make the guests comfortable. We loved the restaurant, the breakfast (especially during the week-end - mostly local and unpackaged products), the bed, the fact of having a sofa in the room. We could also rely on the hosts for advice for activities. They speak English, too.

The door of the toilet in the room doesn't close properly by design, which is a bit embarrassing. I think it would be very easy to come up with a solution to that.

The owners were amazing, so kind and helping. Micha the owner got to know us wrote us some location to go see (we went there they were spectacular). The breakfast (included in the price) is so good and delicious they make us eggs and pancake on orde(hot and yummy), the dinner is sooooo delicious and good price for a hotel. Now for the location of the hotel, you will need a car to get here but the location is amazing, the view form the window of our room is breathtaking (the room is big and clean) and by car it that far from many attractions and tourist attractions. All in all amazing experience.

The hotel is located in a nice location away from the city's hustle-bustle, very close to nature. The staff is very kind, helpful, friendly, considerate, and gives a homely treatment to the guests.

Fantastic hotel run by friendly Michael and Franzi. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food is first class. Great location for motorcycle touring

Breakfast was good. Friendly service. Quality of food very good. Very clean and a wonderful location.

Ruhrtag on the day we arrived!. A hotel with 16 rooms surely cannot permit to have a day with no service. Dinner menu was the same everyday. Maybe a chefs special that changes each day? Portions were enormous, to the point of having to waste food!
