This was the perfect place for an overnight before visiting Herrenchiemsee. We found easily accessed restaurants nearby in Prien even though the on-site restaurant was closed that day. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the after-hours check-in was well communicated. This was probably one of the best places we stayed on our trip.

There is nothing to report here for us. Yes, the facility is in the country and near the church, so expect farm smells and church bells, but this was not an issue for us.

We arrived a bit late, when the reception was closed, but the hotel left a key in a locker and sent a message with a code. So there was no problem to get in. The room was spacious, what positively surprised us. The mattress had the softness, exactly the one we like. What we liked especially is a double door. Means no sounds came from the hallway. Breakfast was good, nothing special, but sufficient to feel replete. The hotel is located aside from the roads, therefore the place is quiet.

Nothing, except maybe noisy kids a floor above.

The breakfast was nice and the staff was very kind. We were there during "ruhe tag" (Monday) so the restaurant wasn't working and there were only sounds of a village :-) The location is great if you have a car. The Chiemsee is very close.

We didn't know that Mo-Tue are so called "ruhe tag" so we need to do the self check-in and the restaurant is not open. We also helped other guests who didn't receive any message with a code for self check-in and furthermore, we had troubles to open the box. Nevertheless, the staff on the phone was helpful.

The restaurant from the property is amazing! I do recommend eating there and in fact I am planning to stop for dinner during my next trip. Everything we had for dinner was very tasty. Compliments to the chef!

We did not get adjacent room, even if I asked for this. In fact the rooms were at the exact opposite ends of the corridor. Very inconvenient for a family with kids.

The hotel staff is really nice and helpful, we had a good stay. Dinner and breakfast were great. The room entryway is spacious, I loved it!

There's no elevator, so be sure you can carry heavy luggage upstairs by yourself. Also, make a double confirmation after paying by credit card.

Breakfast could have been a little more, but was good and enough. I was missing hardboiled eggs or just some scrambled eggs and bacon. But they did make eggs upon request.

Better and more parking. The parking lot has no barriers - so some people parked really bad.

Much better than advertised or in photos. Room was great. Nice balcony. Location near the autobahn for us was perfect. The food in the restaurant was awesome and the staff was right on top of everything. Enjoyed the beer too. Nice parking lot also.

Nothing. This place lived up to all expectations.

Stopped off for a night's stay on way to Slovenia taking opportunity to see Chiemsee at the same time. Lovely room, very clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Really nice evening meal. Footpath opposite made for a nice evening/morning walk for the dog. We'll probably return for a longer stay as a center to explore Bavaria better.

Room was nice, had a small chocolate in our beds was a nice touch. breakfast very good. We arrived late, and had a locker with our key , everything went smoothly.

The room was a bit hot, AC would be a plus but I understand why it does not have it.

Our room was a nice, large three person room. The breakfast was good.

Although the bells at the church next door are nice, they do ring until 10pm and start again at 6am - at least I don’t remember them during the middle of three night. They were fine for our sleeping times.
