Location was fantastic, in the middle of the partially renovated Old Town, right across from theTourist Information. The breakfast room is a sort of banquet hall with the remains of a fresco from 1533. The outdoor restaurant (for coffee, beer or dinner) was also excellent, with very friendly, helpful waiter.
No one at reception when I wanted to check out (but I just left the key there and it was all ok).

We really loved how clean and neat the room was. Super fast check-in. We were able to park nearby (even when there was an event in the city going on). And we were happy with the great view from our room!

Restaurant refusing to accept credit card, when locals on the next table, were allowed a card payment. We were prepared to pay by debit card, but that option was rudely refused. Food excellent, just waiter's poor attitude left a bad taste

Great location. It is a historic building with massive walls and large rooms. The breakfast was excellent.
Apparently due to the thick walls there is no/bad wifi reception. In our room (1.4) was absolutely no wifi reception - even mobile phone reception was very weak.

the location was perfect. breakfast was uniqe in a historic surrounding with walls painted by Cranach.

the staff was very good. the rooms were clean and spacious. great value right on the main square in Görlitz!
it was very hot when we were there and the hotel does not have AC. This is why only a 9 of 10

Location! Breakfast room with fantastic Lucas Cranach wall painting.
Bed was a bit narrow and hard. I wish they had a lighter comforter for warm/hot weather.

Central location, nice rooms, great view. A short walk from the Polish border.
It would be great if they had English breakfast tea for foreign guests. I had to ask, and they found some.
