We stayed here so that we could visit the town of Goslar and the Christmas Market. It was a short walk into the old town. The rooms had comfortable beds and a wonderful breakfast was included with our stay.

The rooms were a little smaller than what we normally choose but the beds were comfortable and the rooms contained all the essentials. There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like and I would definitely stay in that hotel again if we were to travel to the area again.

The lack of air conditioning was a real minus point, and the window in our room was broken and could not be set properly. This made for a lees than comfortable stay during a quite hot period in July. If you did not want the evening buffet the choice of meals was somewhat restricted.

The room was very clean and quiet, and had a nice balcony. My dog was treated like a proper guest. She got a gift bag and was allowed in the dining room. The breakfast was very good and diverse, with plenty of options in the buffet for vegetarians. Guests could eat outside in the garden, which was very pleasant especially for my dog.

I was a bit taken by surprise when I was told that I would have to pay 15 euros per night for my dog. Usually it is 10 euros in German hotels. Although my dog was treated exceptionally well at this hotel and I do not regret paying this sum, I think it would be a good idea to clearly state this extra charge on booking.com website. Guests with dogs should be informed when choosing hotels about the exact amount not just that there may be extra charges.

The room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful - I asked for an extra blanket and as the household staff had already left, I was given a blanket from a vacant room. I liked that the hotel is at a walking distance from the old city centre.

The wi-fi connection was not the best.

I stayed in 4 different Hotels on that traveling sequence and this one had the best breakfast, generally the standard ok, nice & comfortable room, swimming pool pretty nice, you can have some fun with kids but do not count on too much swimming as it is just about 10 m long but ok

The facilities were better than expected and it was really great relaxing end of the day with swimming pool and sauna. Great breakfast. Room did not have AC, not a problem for us as it was not as hot during our stay there. But can imagine being really hot during 25-30 days degrees

Lovely hotel with large rooms which are very quiet even though used by the tour buses. Wonderful buffet evening meal and the same applies to the breakfast. Very large car park with plenty of space in a quiet neighbourhood.

Everything was as required.

Everything was great. It is a nice hotel, with good service. Staff was always very polite and helpful, they cleaned our room on a daily basis. Room was nice and clean, with access to the big lawn. Breakfast also fine. Big parking with enough space for every guest. Pool is also fine. And the most important thing-walls are soundproof, so we really enjoyed our stay, and didn't hear anything, even though the hotel was full of people.

Public bus that stops close to the hotel, and leads to the city center, is not that frequent. It comes every 20 to 30 minutes, and it takes approximately the same time to reach to the old town on foot.

great rooms and exceptional breakfast buffet. good parking for the motorcycles. helpful staff. good bar and service.

20 mins walk to town but that wasn’t too bad.

The staff were really friendly, the breakfast was superb, and the rooms were kept clean and were quite comfortable!

The WiFi connection in the room was poor.
