This is a nice three-star family hotel from 1919, well-preserved and modernized to contemporary standards. As such it has no air conditioning which might be fine except during my stay when there were the hottest days, with temperatures ranging around 30 degrees Celsius. Fortunately, my room was on the second floor, facing north and the nights were not so hot. The room was spacious, with reasonable equipment (no mini fridge, as in similar hotels), and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was surprisingly rich, better than I expected, with a good choice of various items, like scrambled eggs and bacon, cheese, salam, vegetables, fruits, yogurts, juices, pies, etc. Wifi signal all over the hotel. There are nice people in the lobby and breakfast bar. The hotel finds itself in short walking distance from the railway station and university buildings.

Everything was OK. A vending machine with cold beverages, cakes, and other suitable items would be appreciated by guests.

The hotel is very central, on the street between the main train station and the historical city center, close to many cafés and bars. I found it very pleasant and quiet during the night. I had a wonderful room, with a nice little extra table and two comfortable chairs in the corner of the house, with views to two sides. I didn't want to have breakfast, but I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I spent 2 nights as a business traveler in October 2024.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Stadt Hannover is a traditional hotel. Perhaps a little old fashioned but very well maintained. The rooms are a comfortable size with good bathrooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We hadn't booked a parking place, but were able to find a space on the quiet street in front of the hotel. Very centrally located for the city centre but also close to the main station.

This is a handsome hotel. which is not corporate. Our room was spacious and included an enormous bathroom. It is spotlessly clean. We liked being able to leave the key at the desk because there was someone there at the reception 24 hours. We appreciated our good fortune of having one of the secure parking places. The breakfast was very very good. Above anything else it was the helpfulness and friendliness of the all of the staff we met.

Being able to stay longer.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast had a nice variety of options. Easy to get to from the station and close to the town centre.

The room was a little cold. Luckily there was a second duvet that I could use at night to keep warm.

It's a nice hotel. The decoration makes you feel like you stepped into the past, but in a good way. All the accommodations were great. The breakfast was really good for the price.

It wasn't a big ussue for me but you should know that it's required to leave your key at the reception everytime you leave the hotel. They do have a small safe in the room and the reception is open 24/7.

The room was extremely spacious, with a big sofa! Our dog liked the carpeted floor, very comfy for her to rest on. It was equally close to the station as it was to the center, since we were only there for one night to meet with friends that was perfect for us.

This is a lovely hotel in a very pretty city. The extra distance from Hamburg enabled me to travel comfortably to Munich the next day. The hotel is really good price. A luxury hotel at a budget price. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was also excellent. It can be walked to easily from the railway station. It was very dog friendly. It was nice to stay in a city that wasn't too busy.

Great location (near the train station and city center with shops around), simple room but clean and with all essential commodities, especially TV with many English channels (a rare thing in German hotels), gentle and helpful staff.

The room was spacious, the staff really friendly and helpful and the breakfasts delicious. It was also located an easy walk from the station and near all the main attractions.
