Modern hotel in an attractive part of the city. Bustling restaurant with an atmospheric bar. Prices are stiff but the staff is excellent. Reception was slow due to the system where you have to type your own information. Check out could have been more friendly. Nevertheless a very good place to stay, wine and dine.

The room was warm notwithstanding us trying to influence the AC system. That had no effect.

Very big newly decorated room. The best I have seen in years. Great sushi bar though reservation needed if you do not wish to sit at the bar, which was not an issue for us. We got umbrellas when it rained. Metro is five minute walk, three stops to down-town

Breakfast was too expensive so we opted out. Neighborhood is a bit dodgy (strip bars in a street next by), which explains the dark lights in hotel, so it is not recommendable for families with kids

A trendy and fun hotel with lots of unexpected custom touches. Furniture is delightful. Bed super comfortable. We travelled with our dog and they brought a "doggie kit" with big leather dog bed, dishes and some treats. There are treats for the grownups too . .. including free slippers and gummy bears at reception. A very nice room, good restaurant and bar downstairs. Wonderful breakfast. Nice staff.

Firstly, THE BATH. east Hotel's "Splash" rooms have the most amazing bathtub EVER. The room is worth every cent based on the bathtub alone - so if you are of an aquatic bent, this is definitely the option for you. All other facilities, including a lovely large bed, are on point as well. Breakfast-wise, the hotel's offerings were a little on the pricey side for my personal tastes - but that is "each to their own." There are many wonderful cafes and bakeries nearby that you can visit if you are of a similar mindset. The location was perfect for me. A five minute walk from the Reeperbahn, and more importantly, as an avid St. Pauli fan, a five minute walk from the Millerntor. A question here on Booking.com asks me if the area around the property is safe? Yes. It's safe. Like any city, simply don't get yourself mixed up in anything you should not and you will be fine.

Honestly, I can find no fault in east Hotel whatsoever.

This was our second stay at eastHotel. That we returned to this hotel should say all that needs to be said. It truly is a remarkable location which I can not recommend enough. The rooms are laid out and furnished to perfection. The location is ideal, within easy walking distance of anything you might want to see in St. Pauli, and within reasonable walking distance of districts such as Altstadt, St. George, Hafencity etc. The subway link is but a stone's throw away if you desire to go further afield.

I loved my room. Very comfortable stay. Clean and will definitely visit again :)

For this price it would be a nice to be able to make coffee or a hot beverage from your room. Also an iron should be included as standard without having to request for one at the front desk

It was a great venue and the placement was impeccable. The overall design of the hotel was great and luxerious. There had been put a lot of planning into the design, that was primarily organic in nature.

However, I have some minor complaints. The bathtubs faucet I had in my room was kinda broken and calcified. So it spewed hot water everywhere. Also they had a lot of great items at the breakfast table, but the fruit was stale and bruised. Especially the watermelon. Like it had been frozen a little in the fridge. Also breakfast wasn't included in the price of the room, which was kinda meh considering the price of 225 € a night.

Nice surroundings

Very annoying with a dj playing loud music in the restaurant. It was impossible to have a conversation. The restaurant had added 10% tip to our bill without our approval, which we saw at check out yesterday.

That I forgot my golden necklace and called the next day giving photos and all the infor related to my loss that I left inside the left pocket of a wardrobe. The person said they will ask the manager of the cleaning department but I did not hear anything back from them.

This is an expensive hotel, but meets expectations especially with the attractive rooms and the stunning bar and restaurant area. We especially liked the bartender who was incredibly friendly and explained some of his signature drinks to us.

There are sometimes lines in a crowded area for check in and check out.
