We liked our room. Breakfast was very nice indeed! Very handy for centre of Hameln. Parking was annoying - only a few places next to the hotel. The staff didn’t explain clearly about the underground car park. We thought we could park there for free. However when we were checking out the receptionist wasn’t very pleasant when explaining the payment - I think it as more her ‘tone of voice’? However, we paid the 9.5 euros as that was a reasonable amount- it really was more about the attitude/ tone.

No kettle in the room. No bar. Not many parking slots.

The Hotel is well situated, and has a very friendly staff. The breakfast choices were excellent, and were well pr3epared. The location being so close to the town center was a bonus.

There were NO gratis coffee/tea making facilities in the room. NO air conditioning in the rooms. We had to leave the veranda door open to get some fresh air. No restaurant/bar for evening meals or relaxation.

coming to Mercure Hameln since years : breakfast is very good, location excellent. very friendly staff at reception and breakfast price/quality : very good

since covid : swmimming pool is closed machine to make fresh orange jus is removed, no more napkins on the tables since the change of policy : hotel is only stay and breakfast no more possibility to have dinner or even a drink on the terrace we come mostly over the WE, rooms are not cleaned : lack of cleaning staff

No-nonsense business-like hotel. Excellent breakfast and nice rooms with a balcony. Decent desk with ac outlets if you have to work on business trips.

Parking space in front of hotel is very limited and not expected for such business-like hotels. A drawback is the fact that a restaurant at the property is lacking, but the city center is at walking distance featuring a variety of food facilities.

Stayed here many times over the years. Business traveler, safe, covered parking downstairs or limited parking directly in-front of hotel (lucky to get one of these spots), Convenient location for Hameln old town and easy access to industrial areas by car, only 2mins walk into town once parked up. Classic German clean, functional business traveler chain hotel. Can't go wrong.

No restaurant anymore, just b-fast room.

The breakfast choice was very good indeed, varied and good selection of hot and cold foods. Waitering staff were very friendly and helpful. Reception staff were also very helpful and gave us every assistance possible.

Maybe a small fridge in the room could be considered

The breakfast was excellent everything was available fresh and plentiful. No complaints there. The seating in the dining room was well placed and the attention towards the guests made by the employees was very efficient.

The room which we were given was above the main entrance and the location for smokers. On the second day we spoke with the receptionist and despite the busy situation of guests coming and going she did find us an alternative. We did however remain where we were because the room and the bed was larger and we were mostly out. The important point was certainly made in pleasing us. Therefore there is nothing which I can complain about.

Nice hotel in walking distance of the city centre. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable.

The Hotel has no air condition. I did ask but they are unable to provide fans. Even though the windows do open a bit it was quite warm at night. Unfortunately the bar/restaurant area is still closed in the evenings due shortage of staff following COVID.

Location excellent for us, as visiting relations locally. A short walk into the town, a small park outside, and open air Market at weekend. Hotel staff excellent and always helpful.

Close to the city, but just outside. Well kept rooms that were spacious and clean. Really good breakfast.

The hotel looks a bit dated, and not very well kept when you see it from the outside and in the lobby. It's almost confusing as some times you feel like you're walking into a 90ies movie. The phone booths especially stood out. Luckily that impression was wrong for the most part. 🙂 The neighborhood didn't feel too great, but weren't a real problem.
