I can only reiterate what others already said. Super friendly and relaxed owners, calm peaceful surroundings, beautiful views and a passionate chef in the kitchen. The restaurant is not the cheapest, but you get more than what you pay for. High quality dishes! The room was very spacious! The balcony as well! Loved it. Unfortunately, I didn't have time for the Sauna on the upper floor. But I took a sneak peak and it looks beautiful there. They also have an outdoor spa/sauna treatment which looks lovely for 2. For us motorcyclists, from the hotel, you drive right on to a fun twisty road and all great corners & hairpins are nearby.

The style of the room was a bit dated (back to the 90s feel). But I knew it beforehand from the photos. Remarkably, even though the style is dated, the furniture/equipment was not worn out at all. So maybe a conscious choice during a recent renovation. The rest of the hotel's style is gorgeous, though (modern mountain cabin-ish).

Great location for a stopover in the black forest. Warm cozy atmosphere in the hotel. Very good room with excellent shower.

The staff does not speak good English so practice your German! One morning by 9am there were no more croissants which disappointed our kids :) Food menu at restaurant is pricey and wine list quite limited.

It’s a great hotel. Very comfortable with attentive staff. Good dinner and breakfast. We walked up the hill from the village, along a track on the right as the houses finish - a gentle climb up to the crest and a view into Switzerland. Then back via the ski drag lift top to Gersbach - 1.5 hours of alpine meadows and skylarks. Descent is by a steep road back to hotel. A great short walk.

Wonderful family run hotel in a small village. Very relaxed atmosphere in a wonderful location. Excellent restaurant with a great choice of meals for all tastes. The owners and staff couldn't do enough to make the stay as enjoyable as possible.

A nice location. Responsive staff. Cosy and quiet. A beautiful place to hike and bike. There is a good restaurant at the hotel and they serve a decent breakfast. A lovely site I would recommend to stay.
