Super friendly and helpful staff and atmosphere in a great location right next to the old town. Everything was in walking distance and even though it was super central, there was no noise from the streets or city. Very comfy bed and always felt safe. The room was very light and spacious for one person. I also liked that there was no carpet. Reception had great snacks and drinks.

There's no water cooker or fridge in the room which would have been nice. The hotel is pet friendly, a fridge would have made it easier to store dogfood during warm weather. The walls are quiet thin and I could tell exactly what my neighbours were up to, which was a bit unfortunate

We loved the location and the reception staff were lovely and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean and overall we enjoyed our stay.

We really liked this hotel, but one thing spoilt our stay. On the first morning we arrived for breakfast to find that some of the food containers were empty. There were no staff on duty and after waiting for over ten minutes, along with another guest, we went into the kitchen to find it empty. A guest went to complain to reception and eventually two staff returned to the kitchen. One of them spent a great deal of time chopping up cucumbers whilst we had to wait ages for more scrambled egg and bacon to appear. Not happy 😖

I was pleasantly surprised by the rather big size of the rooms (especially the bathroom!) and overall elegant appearance of the reception area. 😊 Much more like a proper hotel rather than the usual budget hotel. 24/7 reception, very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well temperated room. Had a very quiet night despite the very central location - definitely would recommend, especially when arriving via train.

There was no hairdryer in the bathroom (but I didn‘t ask for one at the reception either). The shower doesn’t close so that the floor near the shower easily can get wet (but enough towels were supplied, so there was no issue - could be annoying to some).

The hotel is located right next to the center of the city with bus stops almost directly in front of the door. It provides clean rooms with convenient non-essentials like a place to unpack your luggage and a wardrobe. The staff are very friendly and helpful also giving information on how to get to places of interest.

The bathrooms are not suited for two people sharing a room. There is no proper (lockable) door and a huge frosted glass window between the bathroom from the room itself. So one occupant taking a shower is bound to wake the other still sleeping due to noise and light.

The hotel is in the centre of the city and was perfectly located for me. Everything was within walking distance. The room was equipped with everything you need or expect in this price category. The staff was friendly and forthcoming.

Unfortunately the hotel does not have a car park so I had to park in an underground car park. The problem is not the car park but the extra payment for overnight parking was the annoying part for me and is most likely the reason not to book this place again.

- The room with its modern comfort, big TV screen, large windows and free choice of the floor with a great view to the city. - Also, the bathroom with a large walk-in shower met my expectations. - You can expect a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed in absolute quietness (sound-proofed rooms). - Strong point: The friendly reception staff (especially Dominik) went out of their way to make a guest feel "at home"! - Another highlight was the very central location of the hotel, only a few steps away from shopping centers and the city's old town. Therefore, there is the option of choosing a bakery / café for your breakfast if you should not opt for the inhouse variant. - Value for money!

- The only short-coming worth mentioning was the lack of hotel-owned parking space for your car or motorbike - guests will have to divert to the close by mall's parking. - Bring your own mineral water bottles - a minor point.

Great location

The hot items at breakfast like eggs, bacon etc were certainly not hot, which raises issues like food hygiene, my brother in law reported this during both mornings of our stay as well as when checking out and it was felt by him it was taken very seriously. The plug on the hairdryer was faulty and one of the shelves in the room was damaged- this should have been checked by housekeeping before we checked in.

The location is excellent, everything clean and nice with nice people at the reception. The air conditioning in the room was a lifesaver in the summer heat for nordic people like us :) Nice and clean beds and the bathroom was nice. The location was also amazing, on the edge of the old town with a museum and a shopping mall on the other side.

There is really nothing I didn't like. Everything was as expected or better.

we have stayed at other locations of Super8 and knew what to expect. The rooms are small, lack of closets but the price is right. we’re cycling the Rhine and we seamlessly got to hotel, without fighting too much traffic. Supermarkt and restaurants are near and it’s walking distance from Dom.

No secure bicycle parking right at hotel. Apparently they have a place a Km from hotel. At 11 pm someone opened our room. We were afraid all night that other keys possibly were coded with our code. aaWhen I mentioned it to reception we discovered that a staff person accidentally had opened it. I would have appreciated the person would have identified himself and apologized. it would have put our minds at ease.

- The large bed was in fact two small beds put together with a large mattress on it (not ideal confort) - The person at the reception did not give us ice for our own drinks while they had ice for the cocktails they are selling. Not a great feeling as a client
