This accommodation offers excellent value for money. It had everything we needed for a short and comfortable stay. The room was well-equipped and highly functional. The check-in process was quick and seamless. Despite being located directly across from the main train station, the rooms were remarkably soundproof — we stayed on the 4th floor and were never disturbed by any noise. However, friends staying on the 5th floor mentioned hearing train sounds and experiencing slight vibrations from passing trains. Everything was spotless and impeccably clean. The location is fantastic, just a three-minute walk from the train station and within easy reach of the city center. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout our stay, and the heating in the room worked perfectly — we especially appreciated being able to lower it a bit for added comfort.

A kettle in the room would have been a nice addition. Friends staying on the 5th floor mentioned hearing train sounds and experiencing slight vibrations from passing trains. Additionally, the lack of sockets near the bed was slightly inconvenient.

The room was a nice size for a city centre hotel and very clean. The bathroom and shower were all clean and modern. Breakfast was extra but very nice indeed and worth the price. The staff were all friendly and very pleasant. The location was perfect which is why I chose it in the first place.

I did not find anything I didn't like about this hotel. I have a lot of experience in staying at City Centre Hotels and understand that there are constraints to running a Hotel in such places. I though this hotel dealt with it all very well and would like to stay there again when I get the chance.

Thishotel is in an ideal location for both the main rail station and for the city itself. Rail Station only a 5 minute walk and the Cathedral is only about 10 minutes. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Having only just reopened when we stayed, Breakfast was not available but in previous stays here the Buffet Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Hotel is very clean and has everything we wanted.

Very good location - short walk to the train and the two bigger Christmas markets, so worked perfectly for us. The room was also large and spacious, and quite clean when we arrived.

At some point the carpet should go. Additionally, there was some street noise, but nothing major (at least for us).

Location is perfect. Just behind the main train station. Close to the Koln Dom. The bed is very comfortable for me. I had a very good sleep. The service is also Good. Definitely I will Stay there if I visit Koln again.

Nice stuff, near the main Cologne station

No A/C, asked for a high floor which they gave me at first the highest 5th floor but the elevator only goes up to the Fourth floor and then there’s a flight of stairs from there, so had to settle for the first floor as I was told that all the rooms were sold out. The bin in the bathroom was not emptied and a piece of a brown paper was left stuck in the toilet (which I had to pull out myself with the toilet brush)

I loved the pillows and comfy bed I liked the big size of the room I liked the cleanliness The receptionists were lovely

It was too unsafe as a single female to go out at night as there is lots of anti social problems in Cologne. My room was expensive, i guess because it was booked close to the time of my travels.

First of all and the most important - awesome location. Reaching the most important attractions and places in the center of Cologne by walk was so easy and comfortable. I ordered a private garage space which turned out to be a separate garage next to the hotel with individual gate. I was driving SUV car and I still could close the gate but for longer cars I saw the gates we opened all the time. It is an option as well but I do recommend to check with Hotel personnel if your car can be parked there just so you have right expectations.

The room looked a bit worse than on the photos and it wasn't as clean and comfortable as I would expect. My stay was just 1 night so it was completely OK and I would pick it up again mostly in favor of location despite the standard of the room.

Clean and comfortable and conveniently located close to station for arrival and onward travel. Great for short stay. We used it to visit Cologne's great Christmas markets. Can't comment on breakfast as we decided to have breakfast out at the great Épi Boulangerie on Neusserstr, about 20 minutes away.

Minor but some of the fixtures and fittings needed repairing, eg curtain coming down a bit and bulb needing replacing but nothing bad to bother us . Great place for short stay.

Location excellent, near station. Also the metro station is quite close. Very friendly and helpful owner and workers. Hotel peaceful, the train nearby makes the area a bit noisy. Hotel was clean.

At the moment they did not have enough personal. The rooms were not cleaned on daily basis. But if you asked they did it though. If you are very sensitive to noise, the trains passing by may disturb you. If it is very hot and you want to have your windows open in the night it may be a problem. I was used to it and it did not bother after the first night. The reception was closed after 8 pm, but the owner lives nearby and can be reached by phone when needed.
