From the outside and in the reception area the hotel looks like it might have seen better days, but the staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean and I had a nice view of the river. The hotel itself is pretty standard but highly functional. The internet worked great including for my Zoom conference. Location-wise it was perfect both for reaching the train station as I had a late arrival coming in and a really early departure going out, but also was really close to a bus station that could take you anywhere in Potsdam (the hotel staff will help you with the right bus routes and even day tickets for the bus).

Breakfast was good and quite complete with different options. My daughters enjoyed it. Staff at reception were nice and the lobby area was spacious. Very nice view of the river "Havel" and Potsdam city from the top floors.

I had booked a triple room, yet I got messages through the app suggesting that I upgrade from a double room to a triple room because I had a small child. I informed the staff that I had already got a triple room booked. Then a week or so later I got again the same request and had an identical conversation, so much so, that I had to ask if I was talking to a bot. The bot/staff denied it. I on three occasions requested a cot in my room, and had a positive response but of course there was no cot in my room. I eventually gave up and did without it.

Very good breakfast, clean, location is good The staff is very friendly, eventhough there was one only speaking english and another one only speaking german, which might be confusing for some people.

The rooms have a glass door to the bathroom. Nobody, travelling with family or friends, wants to see people (or their shadows) sitting on the toillet from the bed..... This is not the only hotel having this "feature", and I belive who ever was the interior designer, should stop travelling alone and stay in one of those.... There are also not enough parking spaces available, and as late arrivals one needs to find puplic parking for 10€ around the corner

We liked the service when we checked into the hotel. took into account all our wishes. a young, nice manager picked out the best room for us. Proximity to the elevator view from the Windows, good room cleaning cleanliness order.

really good location. everything is close: transport less than 5min, major tourist attraction ~20min on foot, restaurants, shopping 5-10min, boat trip 2 minutes.

bathroom design - all glass, sharp angles not safe by my opinion, ventilation could be better in bathroom , air conditioning lowest vent speed(1) not enough to cool room, higher speed (2+ or Auto) just too loud : some 3 star hotels have much better solutions.

The staff was very professional and friendly. The location is great, it's near the old town and train station, so you can easily go to Berlin. Breakfast was great, however, I didn't find tea. The room was comfortable and had everything you need.

Probably the worst thing, already mentioned in most reviews, is that there is no door to the toilet. I was lucky because I was alone in the room. It can be OK in a cheap hotel, but not in a 4* hotel. Not sure if the room was outdated or if this is a style. The air conditioning system made strange noises sometimes.

The location is excellent and the service staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ample and good. The room was very tidy.

There was no electric kettle in the room for boiling water for tea and coffee. The breakfast was a bit on the expensive side.

Beautiful panoramic view of the river. Hearty breakfast buffet for 19euro where you can dine outside if you prefer, overlooking the river. Location is across the street from several museums and trams, and it's walking distance to train station, Dutch Quarter and Old Town. 24-hour front desk was helpful. Good place to stay the night before taking the RB22 train to Berlin airport.

Air conditioning was very weak. Rooms are small with no drawers. Still no daily cleaning (claiming Covid) unless requested every day. Although it was "close" to everything, I should have stayed actually inside the Old Town because I like to walk out the front door of the hotel and be in the heart of the hustle and bustle of town.

Location is perfect. Restaurants and shops in very close walking distance. Rooms were freshly refurbished. Beds and pillows comfortable. Parking on site (cost 18 euros I think). We stayed there approximately 10 years ago and it was the same good.

Could do with kettle in the room to make hot drinks. Air conditioning system didn't blow enough cold air but it was ok.

Location on the river was lovely. Rooms really good

Facilities were a bit limited. No bar and messages to staff did not get relayed. My husband turned up and although I was assured they would give him a room key he was not allowed in or allowed to use the toilet. He had to wait a couple of hours for my return.
