A very charming heritage hotel, all the staff made us feel very welcomed. Room is a good size, very warm and cosy, did not feel cold even though the temp outside feels like sub zero. The staff parked our car for us. Breakfast was wonderful, a wholesome spread of choices for everyone, freshly baked bread basket, smoked salmon with cheese cream, caprese salad, fruit salad, fresh juices and smoothies and eggs of our choice, all made on the spot. Merve attended to us and paid very good attention to details which we really appreciated. Her warm and friendly service just made our day. The hotel is a 7 mins walk from Plonlein, and few mins walk from the Market place.

The lighting in the room is quite dim, but nothing serious.

The only minor thing that bothered me was that the room I stayed in had stairs leading to the bed, with the bathroom staying below. That kind of scared me a little bit, specially during the night. But the room was huge and beautiful, with a wonderful bed.

It was an extremely charming apartment with everything we needed. The shower was tiny, so it wouldn't be good for large people. The room was big and beautiful. It was warm and cosy in cold days. I wonder what it is like in summer, though. The location was absolutely central. It was lovely. We went to the main hotel for breakfast and the restaurant was beautiful. Sven was very attentive and we had a great chat. Thank you, Sven. Every morning, we had warm croissants and a variety of delicious rolls, perfectly cooked eggs with crispy bacon, an assortment of cheese and fruit with a pot of coffee. Everything was very carefully prepared and beautifully presented.

I usually never give a ten rating but this place deserves it but this needs to be put in context. We really enjoyed the stay because of a number of factors. The rooms vary because it is a historic hotel so I can't comment on all of them but we were in the Butterfly room and it was nice with lots of character. The bathroom was modern but note that the shower was part of the bath. There is no lift but our bags were carried without having to be asked. Everything was spotlessly clean. And the breakfast was such a lovely experience. You are presented with a menu card and you select from a variety of breakfast options which they bring to you. Breakfast is included in the price. They have parking, but they drive your car to the parking because it is a historic area and parking is limited. We decided to park in front of the hotel (free after 6pm) but I suspect this will not be an option in a busy season. All the staff were excellent and helpful.

Our apartment room was perfectly located in a quiet street just off the main square. The apartment was beautifully presently, very clean, quiet and had all the facilities you could want. The host, Sven, was really friendly and helpful. We arrived early, our room was ready and Sven happily checked us in. Sven also told us about a German Christmas tradition happening the next night, and made sure we were included. The breakfast was good and dinner in the restaurant was outstanding. We could not have asked for more.

Old, well maintained and characterful hotel situated in the heart of the old city. Car parking taken care of by the staff after they've helped you unload and taken your bags to the room. Had the junior suite which is on two levels. Extremely comfortable and if it wasn't for the pull of the magnificent old city outside, we could have easily spent the entire day in chilled relaxation here. Breakfast is varied, expertly cooked and very well presented, either in the dining room or in the garden. Shower is powerful and part of a spacious bathroom. The hotel is a welcoming part of a magnificent city. You won't be disappointed.

From check in to check out, we had an exceptional experience. Our travels led us to arrive later than expected, but the person managing the desk stayed late to accommodate our later arrival and even made us some super yummy bites for dinner because there weren't any restaurants open for dinner at that time. Every detail was perfect! It was super clean, and comfortable and the breakfast was DELICIOUS!

Beautiful studio, clean, big, comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and neat. Bed in particular was very comfortable. Great location, quiet street. Breakfast was really good with quality food. The staff was amazing and helpful, they let us check in a bit earlier and took care of our car during our stay and drove it back to us the morning of our check out.

Just keep in mind that there is no AC, there was a little fan, it was enough for us

The staff were so friendly and always attentive every time we walked through the door. They were flexible with keeping our bags while we explored the city after check out, and had a cab waiting for us when we were ready to leave. We felt very welcome! Our room was well kept and had a beautiful scenic view. We were in room 8 and it was fantastic, even with the three story climb of stairs each time. The hotel is toward the back of RodT but close to the best views, gardens, and historical sites, while still being super close to the main square and other attractions.

We are used to a headboard to rest against in bed, which the ceiling in the room prevents, but not a huge deal. Our door handle and lock on the door was also a bit loose, but we still felt quite safe.

Location was right in the middle of the small town, walking distance to all parts of the city. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. My fiancé and I were staying there celebrating our engagement and they made us feel very special. The building is historic, but renovated beautifully. The breakfast was made fresh to order and the staff attentive. We stayed in a suite and never wanted to leave, so spacious and homey.

Beds could be more comfortable, but not a deal breaker at all.
