This is a lovely hotel to stay in a short distance from the walled city. It was easy to find even though the road was closed that day outside the hotel. Just a slight detour around the back streets and we came out across the road from it. The car park was easy to find as you turn down the road at the side of the hotel at the traffic lights and then it’s on your right. There is a back entrance into the hotel from there. The lovely lady on reception couldn’t apologies enough about the road works but it wasn’t her fault. Our room was on the first floor just at the top of the stairs, there is no lift here which we knew about in advance and packed a smaller bag for the night here so we wasn’t carrying the big suit cases up the stairs. The room was at the front of the hotel and was very clean. The bathroom was only small but it was fine. The aircon was good and we were given a remote for it on check in. There is an honesty bar down stairs which was well stocked but we didn’t use this. It only took us a few minutes to walk into the city but as it was getting late I made a dash to the Christmas shop before it closed at 6pm. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and we were going to eat in a hotel where we have stayed before but before we got there we ended up in another hotel. So no problem finding somewhere to eat. The beds were comfortable and we both slept well. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from and good coffee. We have said we will visit here again and I’m sure we would book this hotel again.

First of all we were always treated and greeted with a smile, all the staff here were so pleasant and helpful, we were made to feel wanted and that’s always nice. For us the hotel was perfect, not too big with crowds of people, just great for couples seeking a peaceful break. we had a quite large double room with air conditioning and mini fridge en-suite shower and safe. With breafast included, which was plentiful, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, cooked scrambled egg, mixed mushrooms and peppers, little sausages, boiled eggs, with various fruit drinks, tea and coffee. Plenty of room around the back of the property in what felt like very safe parking which is a must for us on a road trip type holiday. Located about 5-7 minutes easy walk to one of the many entrances into this most stunningly and fascinating town. You have to walk right round the walls and explore this place to fully appreciate how interesting and magnificent this town is.

Great location on the main road less than 10 mins walk to the old town. Off street parking & boutique-style hotel. Quiet room with great shower. Staff were excellent, as was the breakfast. Added bonus of a self-serve bar on an honesty system.

Only downside was the dodgy/intermittent TV reception - perhaps up to half of the TV channels on offer were either unavailable/had no signal, or had continual pixellation of the picture with only intermittent sound coming through.

We loved this hotel - the staff who run it are so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is a very short walk to the old historic town as well as a few excellent local restaurants. Not that we used it but the hotel had an honesty system for the snacks and drinks available throughout your stay. The generous continental breakfast which included scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon was sumptuous. The test of a good hotel - would we stay here again - absolutely yes.

Lovely small hotel just outside of town, easy walking access in. The staff are very helpful and friendly, rooms are very clean with comfy beds, breakfast was fresh and tasty. Honesty bar has a good selection of drinks and snacks. We had a very quiet room at the back of the hotel. Rothenburg is a must see town, it has the most beautiful timber buildings and town walls. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. The Night Watchman tour was fun. Loads of places to visit within the town.

The weather! Unfortunately it rained most of the time.

A fantastic hotel a short walk from the city walls, The lady on reception was lovely and told us what was going on that we may like to see in town, and what a beautiful place that was too. It was a particularly hot couple of days and for a small fee air-conditioning was available in our room. Well worth it! Breakfast was great too. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy sweet village-like hotel with nice friendly staff and amazing buffet breakfast (giving an impression as if you are at your granny’s house). The room was spacious, neighbors are calm. Everything is clean and pleasant. On evenings you may go down to a living room to grab some snacks and beverages.

A bit cold in the room

We had booked a small double double room, but were upgraded to a larger double room by the nice lady at the reception. The Room was quite nice and spacious. Even though we were in a road facing room, with the windows closed there was no road noise. All the staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast is quite good and there is plenty of parking available. The location is very convenient, it is just a 5-7 minute walk to all the attractions.

Erything was fine. We had a nice stay.

Good breakfast, room was clean but a little old fashioned. It was very noisy at the front of the hotel. Good parking behind the hotel. Great hotel for exploring the town. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Towels are clean but an awful mustard colour. They really should change to white towels.

Parking was 5 euros a night which was good as it was safe. Breakfast was brilliant. You could eat as much as you like. Even has bacon and eggs! The staff were excellent couldn’t do enough for you, very friendly and so helpful. The room was well laid out and very clean. Everything was just what we wanted.

There nothing that we didn’t like. I needed an extra pillow and hey presto, there it was!
