We were put up in the new apartments connected to the hotel and I have to say they were great. Very big with your own kitchen. The bathroom was bigger than a standard room in other hotels. Not sure what the rooms are like in the main hotel but the apartment was great. Also had plenty parking.

Have to say the breakfast was definitely not worth it. If it comes in the price…ok. If not it wasn’t that great. Only hot food was boiled eggs or pretty dry scrambled.

An extended continental breakfast, no cooked food provided., lots of cold meats and cheese, bread of all sorts.

No restaurant in the evening during the week day, needed to drive to get to a restaurant, having driven all day it was the last thing I wanted to do. Needs to be shown that there's no restaurant during the week. Would have chosen a hotel with food in the evenings

The room was lovely with a large sitting area, a bedroom, a balcony overlooking the garden and a super shower room. The staff were very professional and friendly.

Nothing, apart from the menu might be a little limited if you were staying longer than 2-3 days. Everything else was just right for us.

We were lucky enough to get an upgrade in order to accommodate our baby cot and arrived late. This was greatly appreciated after 8h drive with a 2y old^^ The property exceeded our expectations, the bed was of an amazing quality and the breakfast had plenty of options. We would definitely come back! Thank you!

Lovely and clean, good restaurant

Heard a vibrating noise in the bedroom at 03:00, loud enough to get up and investigate. It came from the fridge when the compressor started the fridge vibrated against the cabinet door. I simply pushed the fridge back and problem solved - although I was now wide awake

Great location close to the main road. Bed was very comfortable and bedding and pillows lovely The restaurant was very welcoming and food good. Staff were all very professional and helpful.

Some milk in the room for tea and coffee would have made the stay perfect

Chargers sockets would be better than just plug sockets. Milk and coffee in room would be good.

A great hotel to stay in the heart of the black forest. The location is perfect as a starting point for 1-2 hour drives to many smaller and interesting villages in the region. It is a much better place to stay than in Freiburg City itself which is crowded, expensive and finding parking is very hard. The hotel itself is very cosy, comfortable, clean and has a nice vibe. The staff is very helpful and the wifi was also great.

The breakfast options were limited and the quality was below average for such a place.

Staff really friendly. Decor of breakfast room excellent. Breakfast excellent. Great sized bedroom. Very convenient car parking. Great to be in a small village typical of the area.

The biggest room we ever had,clean perfect. Super nights sleep as bed was so comfortable. As a bonus the shower was big enough to lay down in. Dinner was a feast.
