In general the hotel is clean, neat and comfortable. Check-in was easy, as was parking and finding the location to begin with. It is obviously situated on the premises of Leica Welt, which makes it the ideal choice for visitors.

Although outside temperatures weren't at all high during my visits, the temperature in the hallways and rooms was too high for my liking. Air conditioning didn't seem to function: it did turn on and some air was moved, but the room wasn't getting colder. I was denied a cocktail at the bar because there was a single large group at the restaurant, only mixers were served at the time. Seeing as Oskar's is actively marketing themselves as "Restaurant & Cocktailbar", I was highly disappointed. The beds were comfortable, but unfortunately the pillows were subject to quantum mechanics: there appeared to be a pillow, but it vanished as soon as you rested your head on it. Cleanliness was great except for the sofa which had multiple stains.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience although we were only stayed one night! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed. The real highlight, however, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The location was ideal, and the facilities were top-notch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and memorable stay.

Expensive restaurant and the food quality and taste do not represent the price. Paid 30 euros for a dish that was too salty, too heavy, medium taste (I mentioned that to the staff and they offered a coffee free of charge, which didn't save the situation, cause the dish costed 30 euros, but was at least a good move) Pillows. It's impressive that in a hotel that you pay 110 euros per night, the pillows are all soft and bad quality.

The hotel is part of the Leitz Park, with the Leitz museum and gallery, where Leica cameras are made, and this was one of the main reasons for our visit. The whole complex is very modern, and the hotel is well appointed. Our room was very comfortable, and by booking ahead, very reasonably priced. Wetzlar has a beautiful old town which is very much worth a visit.

The breakfast buffet is quite expensive, especially if you do not want to have a large breakfast. There was a background noise from the air-conditioning in the room as well, but not loud enough to disturb our sleep. There is a bus service to/from the town but it is not frequent, especially in the evenings.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff, like the variety of breakfast, restaurant staff are very friendly and willing to help at anytime. We booked 2 rooms, both have wonderful view of the whole Leitz-Park, one of it is car themed room, which is a big surprised to me. The staircase in hotel exhibit beautiful photos as well, there are hidden surprised to find. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The room is clean in general, however, I did find a blond hair on my towel while I am drying my face, which shocked me a bit (neither one of us are blond), the bath tub is covered with dust. Sleeping area and couch area are spotless.

Beautiful hotel with very good food. If you are going to Leica headquarters or planning to explore Leica Welt this is a good place to stay. The evening reception staff were excellent. The Leitz Cafe staff were wonderful.

The biggest problem is that the AC didn't work. Even set on the highest fan level there was no airflow. The hotel was advertised as having AC. We were only able to partially open the window because it was blocked by the sofa cushions. The checkout staff seemed entirely uninterested in our AC challenges. If it wasn't so late, we would have asked for help that evening. The staff at Oskar's restaurant were not interested in helping us in the evening at about 9:10 and tried to dissuade us from eating there, giving us every excuse as to why we couldn't order any food, such as, there's a huge group of 16 who just came in. We only wanted something light, so ordered, then went to sit in the bar. Getting and paying our bill was a challenge.

Very stylish, spacious and modern, clean. Perfectly located within the Leitz Park if you plan your visit there. Wonderful photographs everywhere! Breakfast buffet was excellent. Evening dinner expensive but very good quality and imaginative, table reservation essential though.

Even though our room was very stylish and had fabulous views, this was maybe a case of style above comfort or practicality. There was supposed to have been a coffee machine in our room but all we had was a kettle and two tea bags and two sachets of cheap coffee for two people staying! I get better provisions in any boring English B&B! The restaurant is closed on a Sunday and there are no other food sources anywhere in the Leitz Park. We arrived by taxi early on a Sunday evening and wished we had had a dinner in Wetzlar town beforehand. We were tired so just called it a day until breakfast the following morning. A discreet vending machine supplying snacks somewhere / anywhere within this vast space would have been very welcome!

Very clean, quiet and peaceful.

This is my third time staying at this hotel and this time we were in a different room configuration and it was smaller than previous rooms.

Very clean and comfortable room plus shower with good pressure. Excellent breakfast with super-fresh fruit, very crispy bacon and generous portion of gluten-free bread (upon request). Warm room (but not too hot, thank goodness). Very friendly staff and superb location right in Leitz Park. Many thanks!

This place is very convenient when visiting the Leitz-Park; it fits stylistically. The breakfast is very good and I found the restaurant in the evening to be very flexible, friendly and to be of excellent quality.

The “bathroom” was integrated into the main room, which seemed a bit odd. The mirror was integrated into a cupboard and so forth. The foreign cleaning staff was a bit pushy (repeatedly) to get into the room despite clear indications from inside to the contrary and a “do not disturb” card was missing; they did not refill condiments (although they clearly should, since the second night costs the same as the first). Finally, the hotel may want to reconsider its policy regarding parking fees, since space exists in abundance, and people are going out of their way to stay there, out of walking distance from the lovely Wetzlar old town.
