It was quiet, and had a beautiful view. The staff, especially the owner Joseph, were fantastic. Joseph lived in England for 30+ years so it was easy to speak English with him. He was cheerful and incredibly helpful suggesting sightseeing places, arranging taxis, explaining how to get to the next town etc. Joseph even accompanied me for a full day visiting the local fishing village and then taking a 3km canoe ride up the lagoon to another village. The room was great. it had a fan, air-con, louvred windows and screens, a fridge, TV, and hot water with a bath and shower. The food was good, but it takes a little time like all the restaurants I’ve experienced in Ghana. I think it is helpful to tell Linda what you want an hour or two in advance. The taxi into Cape Coast was 50 cidies, but you could walk 1 km and take a shared taxi for 5 c. I found it fairly easy to get around. I highly recommend walking down the beach to the east and first watch 60-70 people building fish boats about 200 m from the hotel. Then go 1km further to the fishing village and watch most of villagers pulling in nets from 800 m out. They’ll be singing together as they haul the net in. Then if you want hire someone 50 meters behind the village you can take a canoe for 40 c and travel up the lagoon for 3km and be escorted to another village and back. I had a pretty amazing time here…

The last 1km of road was sandy and bumpy.

A very peaceful location with sea view and a short walk (ca 500m) to the beach where Morees wooden boats are carved (probably not suitable for swimming). Loved hearing only waves for the night. The staff were very helpful. Rooms were clear and equipped with both fan and AC. Nice garden and short access to some farmland and wetlands for bird watching.

Water stopped running in the evening but they provided large jerry cans. The rooms could use some fresh paint as sea spray bites at everything. Yes, the location is a bit off (maybe 600m to the hospital and nearest market stalls along a dirt road), but the staff can help to arrange a taxi to Cape Coast if you need that.

Brilliant place and it is excellent value for money. It is only a 5 min walk to the beach and the views from the restaurant terrace are absolutely incredible. I do recommend this property.

Just to note, I would definitely stay here again, but some things potentially worth noting: the bed is quite hard. The facility claims to have a mosquito net but didn’t, luckily I did not get bitten. I would rate the accommodation side a 9/10, but it is worth noting the restaurant side would be a 2-4/10. They have very limited food options and long wait (over an hour for a ham sandwich and salad). But having said that, the food was delicious.

The breakfast was good and met our expectations.. The price paid and the standard of the property are fair. The location was excellent for what we were looking for which was rest and this expectation was very much fulfilled. Would very much recommend this location for others and would go there again if in Ghana and looking for a rest.

Outside of their control but the access road to the property but this is due for remedy by the authorities in the near future. I see from a couple of recent reviews that people were not happy with the property. I was there at the same time and disagree strongly with their assessment. I do not understand their complaints as this is far from our experience which was extremely good

Unpretentious, authentic, well maintained, nicely secluded. Friendly and we felt well looked after. Beach close by and nice and quiet.

Our Ghanaian friend pointed out that they should serve other food beside Ghanaian food.

Everything was excellent, a home away from home. Exceptional friendly staff, very tasty food, nice breakfast, cold beer. No mosquito, bugs or flies. Very clean. Cosy challet, especially the highest positioned one. Amazing beach nearby. I definitely recommend it!

I could hear the Waves from my bungalow, set in a Beautiful garden. Breakfast was ok. The beach is very close to the resort; you can also visit Moree, a lively village on the sea.

Large room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and AC/fan. Lovely grounds and gardens. Quiet and peaceful. Good evening meal. Nice staff

The road there was bad ( not the hotels fault) Room could do with extra lighting, it was a bit dark.

The staff was friendly and catered to our whims. We arrived late and they were still able to make us dinner.

The road to the resort is part dirt and part sand, we nearly got stuck. Signage was not clear to find the place. The bathrooms are in need of a remodel. There is no hand soap at the sink, only a bar in the shower.
