This was my second time staying here and it really is a lovely place. Friendly staff. 5-7 minute walk to the ferry, the bus station and the shops and restaurants. Something I absolutely love is that while they don't have an elevator they have a lift for the suitcase to get up the stairs, which many places do not.

The room for a single person, while lovely, I could see getting a bit claustrophobic for a long-term stay... I was only there one evening. But the bed is actually very big for one person.

The location was amazing! It is located at the center of the main street, all the famous restaurants, shops are just around the hotel. The staff was so kind and helpful, they helped us a lot with the parking and we were able to park just in front of the hotel it was a great opportunity.

The room was a bit cold even when the air conditioner was on 30 degrees, maybe other people wouldn’t mind but it was a bit cold for us

WI FI in any hotel is a problem due to its ability to disturb sleep, the sleep inducing melatonin secreted by the pituitary gland is disrupted because it senses the wi fi frequency as daylight, this fact is scientifically proven as well as being my experience when my room is close to a modem, I get no sleep. If a hotels product is a good nights sleep then this is working against them, hotels need not remove wi fi they just need to locate modems to a part of the hotel away from rooms.

Location was excellent and the staff (the owner Marianna and her dear mum) were so hospitable. We had excellent breakfast with homemade jam and pastry. Although there weren’t elevator in the hotel they provide a special chair for my father for going upstairs. Thank you for making our journey a good memory 🙏

Nothing - the parking is a general problem in Alexandrapouli but still the hotel has its own 3-4 car place that you can use

The hotel is located in the center of Alexandroupolis and is very near to everything. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The hotel is very friendly to women solo travellers.

The single room is rather small but efficient. There is no elevator but there is a small lift in case needed.

The staff was so helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! The hotel's location is really lovely — you can walk about 5-10 minutes to the city center. Thank you so much for being so kind to me. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Marianna is a great hostess. I felt very welcome. The property is only 5 minutes from the bus station (I arrived by long-distance bus from Thessaloniki) and 5 minutes from the port from which the ferries depart. All kinds of shops and restaurants are also very close. The room was even more beautiful than expected. Marianna's recommandations on restaurants and special shops were direct hits, she took time to answer. I'm coming back for sure!

The room facing the street is very noisy if you want to sleep with an open window (as I love to) according to the location in the city centre. With earplugs you can still sleep wonderfully! Or just close the window ;-)

They were extremely helpful and welcomed nicely, the hotel is in a great location by location, the rooms are clean, tidy and the breakfast is quite good , I recommend it to everyone, we felt the neighborly hospitality, we will go Jul again

all of the staff were so friendly from Marianna preparing a last minute bigger room and extra night, to Harry welcoming me (despite my tardiness) to breakfast, to the cleaning staff who were so friendly despite my repeated interruptions for forgotten hats etc. the rooms are very clean , the bed comfy and I really enjoyed our balcony.

The staff at Marianna Hotel went above and beyond to make sure I not only felt welcome in Alexandroupolis, but also that I enjoyed my brief stay and got the most I could out of the town. It is a special kind of place that can make a one night stay feel like home but this place did that. Besides that it went beyond what I would expect of a hotel of this rating - the room was impeccable with amenities I have not seen in higher rated hotels like air conditioning, balcony, complimentary shower slippers, full towel sets etc etc. This place felt safe and wonderfully run, and is right by both the port and the central street of the town. I really could not recommend it more.
