spotlessly clean, great pool and outdoor areas were very well furnished. view is amazing and gardens surrounding it are lovely. couldn’t fault the apartment itself at all.

it is a dangerous walk in the dark back from town as there is no footpath and it’s a winding road although it’s only about 5-10 minutes at a good pace . everything about the property itself was excellent. a couple of times we wanted to ask a question but couldn’t find a staff member, no big issue though

After travelling and exploring Kefalonia for 10 days we wanted to spend the last few days of our holiday just relaxing and this is exactly what we got at Panorama Fanari! The property is perched above the Argostoli peninsula and the views of the surrounding bay from the apartment was absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool area is a lovely place to relax where refreshments and snacks are also available should you wish. The apartment itself was bright, spacious and spotlessly clean with good amenities. The complex is a family run establishment and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the breakfast which was freshly prepared and the choice was varied and plentiful. Argostoli town is a 20 min stroll or a 5 min taxi ride away. The hosts were very helpful in organising taxis for you. You can also reach some lovely beaches a 10 min walk away. An amazing place to stay and would definitely return next time we visit Kefalonia.

It was all perfect

The service and staff are perfect. Everything you could need is there. And the owner Chrysa is very caring and helpful. Our stay at Fanari was one of the best I've been to. Cooperation with a car rental company IonianCars is the best idea the accommodation could have had. The benefits are mutual. This stay was one of the best in my personal history.

Nothing! It is a very family-friendly and nice establishment. If they continue to run it the way they have been, it will be one of the best accommodations on Kefalonia. They already have their steady returning customers and I assume that everyone else who comes to them for the first time will most likely come back.

The rooms were very large and comfortable and the sea view was amazing. The ladies that run the place were incredibly friendly and it really felt like a very personal sort of place. They had a very good sized pool as well. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and it wasn’t really an apartment but more like 2 bedrooms with a small kitchenette each that were connected by a door like you see in other hotels that have adjoining rooms. However, we were not really planning on cooking on this trip so it was fine. For those who want to cook meals at home and have a sit down meal, it might not be very easy to do. The location is a bit far to walk to the main areas where there are plenty of restaurants so you will need a car for sure but the good thing is that if you don’t come by car, there is a car rental on the property.

The only thing we were not happy with was that breakfast, although is included, did not start until 8.30am. This is a bit late especially for holiday goers who organize activities such as kayaking or hiring a boat. Many of these sorts of activities have early morning starts at 8am so breakfast is not possible. I guess for people who only go to the beach and lie around it is fine as they will get up later but people who enjoy activities will miss out on the breakfast that is included.

The manager was very kind and hospitable and made us feel so welcome. We arrived early (10 am) to check in and she offered us breakfast (so we had 2 breakfasts on a 1 night stay) and the room was all ready for us. I really liked the balconies front and back in our room which gave a lovely through breeze. Comfortable bed and very powerful shower. Kitchenette useful. Nice green gardens and pool area. Beautiful view from our room.

Bathroom was a bit cramped but manageable (as long as you’re not too tall!). I would only stay here if I had a car as a bit isolated (though that’s part of its charm).

Upon arrival at the Panorama Fanari, we were greeted with warm and welcoming staff who were ready to assist with any needs. The hotel itself boasts well-maintained facilities that were both clean and comfortable, providing a perfect setting to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Argostoli. The room offered a breathtaking view, living up to the hotel's name "Panorama." Every morning, I was greeted with a picturesque sight that set a positive tone for the rest of the day. The amenities provided were top-notch, adding to the overall comfort and enjoyment of my stay.

Nothing to mention

This hidden gem is truly stunning in a beautiful location surrounding by the immaculate gardens and incredible views. There are many seating areas to sit back with a drink from the honesty bar and take in the views and sunsets. The hotel is very clean and rooms decorated with a calming greek theme. The pool area also offers a great view and is by the honesty bar and serving area where a beautiful fresh breakfast is served or you can order snacks in the day. The hotel go the extra mile in offering a collection of inflatables to use in the pool, plus umbrellas and towels if you head out to the stunning beaches within a gorgeous 15 min walk or if using a car there are many more gorgeous spots to access. We used taxis and walked to Argostoliand Lassi then got a taxi back. There are many beautiful restaurants to visit and you must see the turtles in the bay at Argostoli mid morning when the fishermen come back with their catch. I would defintely return to this beautiful hotel its simply stunning.

Coming home!

We loved our stay at Fanari. The staff were so lovely, couldn't be more helpful. They also arranged a beautiful welcome birthday gift for my sister on our arrival! Our room was perfect sized, comfortable beds. Two large balconies to relax in, we preferred the one facing West as we could watch the sunset every night. Strong showers and good AC. Rooms were serviced daily and the ladies did a good job. Breakfast was lovely and there were lots of options, home made cakes, fruits, cereals, continental style meats and breads. The local wild figs grown from their back garden were our favourite!! They catered well for our allergies and had alternative milk options. The hotel offer to organise car hire through them, as they are affiliated with Ionian Cars. This was the best decision we made. Paul from Ionian Cars collected us from the airport and was also kind enough to drop us off!! The rental agreement was sorted easily and he gave us lots of recommendations of local places to visit.

Bathroom was a little small but this is a very minor thing. Also the hot water became lukewarm if showering very late in the night!

Our stay at Panorama was fantastic. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, attending to our every need during our stay. Some of the warmest hospitality we have experienced! True to its name, the views from the hotel are panoramic and magical. We stayed for 3 days but could have stayed much longer. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very comfortable for our family of 4. The pool was lovely which the kids enjoyed every day. Thank you to the beautiful staff who made our stay truly memorable.
