Welcoming staff, clean rooms and great location. The cleaning was very efficient and the foreman was helpful

A little noisy due to being on a busy street but they provide ear plugs and a sleep mask to make it comfortable

Living Yard Thissio is such a lovely place. The location is directly by all the restaurants and a nice walk to shops and the Acropolis. It is also within walking distance of the Monastiraki Metro station which can get you directly to and from the airport. Vivian was so helpful and made sure our stay was wonderful. Truly lovely! She especially went out of her way to help me with my daughter’s transport from the airport who was arriving on a different flight.

The room was wonderful, but be careful as there is a slight step up into the bathroom. I stubbed my toe on more than one occasion.

Everything was well considered into the very details. First of all, the room was extremely clean, furnished by brand new stylish stuff. Second, there is everything you need and more (sleeping strip, earplug, room scent, Nespresso machine) that make the accommodation a great experience. Lastly, the host is very thoughtful and caring with your needs. It also needs to be emphasized that the location is also good, close to Monastiraki metro and Acropolis. I believe that I was lucky to find this place the last minute before traveling and definitely recommend it.

Going to Athens to see the historical sites? Living Yard Thissio is the place to stay. Close to the Green Metro line and perhaps a 15 minutes walk from the west entrance to the Acropolis with so many great restaurants and shops along the way, what could be better? The room was large, clean and even had a balcony to enjoy cooler nights after a long day of seeing amazing sites and museums. There's no provided breakfast but you are literally down the street from two fantastic restaurants in Sarri's Souvlaki and Asian Bowls. Hankering for something else? Turn the corner and you're headed for numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. You can't ask for a better location.

The bathroom's a bit small but I'm a bit big. That said, everything was clean and worked well, instantly hot water in the shower and good lighting. Not enough of a complaint to reduce the rating. The neighborhood and the building are both old so accessibility issues are not going to be handled well if you're affected by them.

The stuff was very nice and helpful. They help us to find a local restaurants and attractions. They know we are coming early and they try to do their best to get our rooms before check in time. There is no elevator so they help us with our luggage to our rooms and it was very nice. The rooms look like they are brand new, very clean and comfortable. The area is great there is a few restaurants and bars next to the hotel you don't need to take the train you can walk. The rooms had enough space for our luggage. Definitely a great value for the money and good experience.

There was a constructions next to us and it was very loud at the morning also one of the rooms was facing the road and sometimes it was loud

The staff were so friendly and helpful, they made our stay special. The location was fantastic. Although it's on the outskirts of the tourist area, the restaurant and bar options around are amazing and it felt quite hip. Walking to the Acropolis or observatory was always just a pleasant stroll away. Monastiraki and Thissio metro stations are very close too.

I can't really fault the place for the price. I suppose just being aware that the location is a bit busy with local traffic is important. We were always quite cautious crossing the road with a baby.

Right in the heart of the action! We arrived late on a Saturday night and it was BUSY. Our driver of our arranged transportation was great but had a hard time getting to the hotel due to the traffic and pedestrians. Thankfully the driver and our host helped us to the hotel even though we arrived later than expected due to delayed flights. Unfortunately, we only ended up spending one short night there, but the beds were comfortable, the bathroom nice, and it was fairly quite late at night.

We truly appreciated being able to book our airport transfers directly with the hotel, but we had to verify the departure and arrival times multiple times with the host. They were very accommodating and helpful though. It's a very busy area--too much for our group of 3 middle-aged couples from midwest USA!

The room was spacious, well furnished, fully renovated, very clean and in general more than we expected. The location is great and we walked everywhere. Would not mind comming here again when back in Athens.

If you open the window at night, you may hear people from the street that are talking loudly (not the properties fault). This happened only one night and was very short. But when the window is closed the sound proofing is excelwnt and you cannot hear anything. I would like to see some wall hangers in the bathroom, but its a minor thing.

All credit to the owner of Living Yard. The building has been refurbished to a high standard. Our room was lovely, modern and clean. Because of the locality close to popular nightlife locations, this causes challenges regarding noise.. The rooms could have additional sound proofing measures fitted ,then it would be a perfect place to stay. We are ,sure that this will be addressed.. That said, we'll done to Living Yard for the quality of your accommodation., We aim to return.

Although, the Living Yard does not offer breakfast. Next door is anellent delicatessen. The staff are so friendly and helpful you are well looked after regarding food. Breakfast sorted next door.

Our room was beautiful and there was plenty of room for the three of us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Fresh bottled water was provided every day. This was a nice touch, especially since our previous hotel didn't offer any drinking water except during breakfast.

We could hear noise from the street in the room. This didn't bother us and the hotel provides ear plugs. I would book this hotel again.
