Staff, location, facilities, decoration, cleanliness was great! We walked around the city to all attractions. Also, enjoyed the room as well. It was good to rest with a great soundproofing room. It was an experience beyond our expectations! Thank you for everything.

Check-in hour is too late, Check-out hour is too early. I know that it is the same in other hotels in Athens as well. It can be improved for each hotel. Staff was super helpful to keep our luggage even after check-out. Many thanks!

I loved the comfort of the room, simple, chic, clean, the location in terms of how easy it was to walk everywhere, albeit, friends from Athens tell me, it’s close to not the safest of streets. Personally, I didn’t come across anything unpleasant and walked around a lot. All the staff I met with were amazing, from the very first night I arrived, a young man called Panu (tall with glasses) welcomed me there and was so so helpful. Georgia is also amazing, helped every way that she could and is so polite with perfectly spoken English. All the young men on reception were exceptionally polite and helpful. Five Star Staff for sure and I would recommend this hotel for that alone but the cleanliness was also five star, so comfortable I didn’t want to leave! The view of The Acropolis from the room’s terrace is an added bonus. Beautiful.

There was nothing I didn’t like. Even the staff working in the breakfast area were really efficient and accommodating.

I loved the friendly staff and the location of the hotel. It was within walking distance to main attractions and the metro. The interior is modern decor.

The entrance pavements to the hotel are atrocious (of course in the hotel the decor is nice) . For 430 euros per night you would expect some sought of luxury upon first sight. The toilet was with out a glass and water splashes everywhere. The family room is good but when you enter the room your window view is of mechanical piping (should of used frosted glass instead) .... For the price the breakfast is extremely poor. If your going to make a small breakfast you need to have chefs standby to at least cook to order.

I recently stayed at The Residence Aiolou Hotel & Spa, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. We’ve really enjoyed our stay. We booked a room with an acropolis view veranda, and it was spacious, had enough storage for our clothes, and had an incredible balcony. The hotel was a street away from the liveliness of the city (both restaurants, tourist spots, and shops), but was very quiet due to the sound proof windows. Breakfast was buffet style with lots to choose from. Very tasty! Personnel were as very lovely, which made our stay even better. We were able to enjoy the jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna which was lovely after a long day of walking. Would definitely recommend.

The location was amazing! The bed was very comfortable and big. The lights were very nice and creating a very cozy ambience. There was enough rooms for our things and the closet was very nice. The internet was working perfect and there was a nice desk. In the room you had tea and coffee! All the details were very nice. Very well thought

In our room the bathroom had a very big window looking on the room. This was nice and spicy if you are having a shower for example, however if you needed to go to the toilet everything was visible, so what could be improved is to have a curtain or another element to cover the view from the window if the person needs a bit more privacy. Other than that A detail to improve would be to have an extra hunger for the towels outside the bathroom because the one in the shower area is small and there is not enough room for the towels of both people.

The staff was great and made sure our room was ready earlier than expected to coincide with our early flight into Athens. They also provided helpful tips and arranged an early taxi for our departure date. The room itself was charming and spacious. We stayed in the older Residence part of the hotel. The walk up to the first floor was fine. The room had 3 balconies! The first time we have had a balcony off a bathroom! There was more than ample space in the bathroom vanity for our items. The location was perfect. An easy walk from the Monastiraki Metro stop from the airport.

The toilet room was really small with no shelf for necessary items. The bathroom did not have a shower, which made a quick shower after a hot day walking around Athens impossible but we adapted and came to love our late-night soaks in the stunning, large tub.

Great location in the middle of Athens. It was our first time to visit Athens and we can't be more happy that we chose this hotel for our stay. It was very close to most of the main attractions in the City. All of them were very "walkable", which is exactly what we did. There were also great choices of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were also very helpful and exceptional.

We were given a room at the rear (with a view of the Parthenon if you peeked out of your balcony) which unfortunately was also a busy street. A garbage truck came in several times in the morning to collect the litter and it was noisy. The windows of our room were double pane but unfortunately was not enough to lessen the noise.

The location is central, not even 5 minutes walk from Monastiraki metro station. The hotel inside gives you a very good vibe from the employees who are very friendly and ready to help. they provide you everything in the room(kettle, coffee machine, slippers, toiletries, mini bar). At check out they even gave us as a departing gift a small olive oil bottle. And they offer to keep your luggage after checkout. In our room we had also balcony but it was connected with other guests room. The spa didn't have time to use it. As for the noises outside is something that you have to take in consideration in all Athens and it's not the fault of the hotel. Athens has the most lively night life.

The hotel doesn't has anything bad but for that high price, customer will want even the smallest detail to be excellent. For example the breakfast is too expensive for so little choices in the buffet. In the room the glass shower doesn't have a door, so all water comes infront of the sink and floor stays wet. The lightning in the room is not so strong.

I submitted a full review for this property but I am not sure what happened to it. I loved my stay as the location was great, my Room 601 had a lovely view of the Acropolis, and the evening staff was especially helpful and informative upon my arrival and throughout my stay. The evening manager, Apostolis and his assistant who was 23 years old, went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I assume he was the evening manager since he was so professional and helpful!! :)

I think the signage could have been better as I had a hard time finding the hotel. The entrance through the restaurant has no signage for the hotel that I could see but that is right off the pedestrian walkway so a hotel sign would be very helpful.
