So glad we picked Sea View Hotel Apartments. The hotel is small enough to feel boutique and seemed to be mostly hosting couples so the atmosphere was very civilised and chilled out. Rooms are a good size and we would use the kitchenette for lunch. Sea view rooms have a great view down the coast toward Chania, ideal for an evening drink before going out to the many restaurants available. Chania old town is an easy 30 mins walk but there are many other options for dining a long the way and the lady at the reception, who was excellent throughout our stay gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The beach nearby is quiet and sandy and a very short walk. Breakfast was plentiful with vast options, friendly staff and a relaxing jazz soundtrack. Finally, the pool is a good size, not too chlorinated and well laid out with a variety of loungers of which there were always some available. The barman was so good we at first thought he owned it as a concession. My partner thought the chill out music was a bit too load so insisted we sit away from the speakers but I was just glad they were playing music that suited the environment and not some dance music like some places do. Utimately if they were a chain restaurant I would seek their other venues out as they know how to do it right!

Key to safe in rooms is a bit unwieldy could be upgraded to a code. No toilet by poolside. Wardrobes space could be a bit bigger.

A lovely hotel with everything we could want, modern facilities, really quiet location and spotlessly clean. Located 5 minutes walk from the beach, and a 30 minute walk into Chania Old Town. There are 2 supermarkets just a short walk away and a few restaurants. There’s a greater selection of restaurants in Chania but the path back along the coast is a bit rough and not well lit at night. There is a bus service though to /from Chania if you don’t want to walk or want to explore further field. If you want to eat in’s easy though to rustle up a basic meal using the self catering facilities in your room. A nice touch when we arrived was complimentary water and a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge. Breakfast was included- contintental style - loved the freshly squeezed orange juice machine! Communication was good with details of how to access the hotel if we arrived after the reception had closed . I had also requested 2 adjoining rooms a couple of weeks before our arrival which the hotel kindly accommodated. All the staff were great , everyone so friendly and welcoming, from the guy by the pool to the cleaners. Special mention to Fotini the receptionist who went out of her way to help us with any queries we might have. The jewel in the crown in addition to the staff was the swimming pool - well kept and lovely. It was never particularly crowded and we were always able to get a sunbed.

Nothing about the hotel itself. The only thing I didn’t like was the paths around the hotel if you wanted to go out at night were poorly lit.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, this stood out from the moment we booked. Thank you. The breakfast was delicious, such a tasty selection. The beds were comfortable, air con worked well. Appreciated the thoughtful touches like a chilled bottle of water (and wine) in the fridge, thank you. The kitchenette was well organised. Seaview is located near a lovely beach, there are places to eat nearby as well as a mini supermarket and bus routes into Chania. It was very helpful to be able to store our luggage safely and use the shower after checkout before our late night flights. We really appreciated this, it made our last day comfortable. We upgraded to a full Sea View studio and we loved it. The room was spacious, modern, clean. The bed was comfortable, but a bit on the soft side for our taste. The staff was very friendly and helpful, offering hints and suggestions when requested; otherwise nothing was needed from them as everything went smooth as silk. The breakfast was indeed fabulous, many things to choose from, both warm and cold, several deserts, changing a bit every day. A beautiful sandy beach (Kladissos) was just a 2-minute walk away, with a small rocky hill to one side as a nice observation point. The surroundings were a bit unkept on the side from the main road towards the hotel entrance, but that is not the hotel's fault. If you rent a car, it is easy to park on the street near the hotel.

Fotini at reception was so kind, friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of regular and homemade items, and could be had in the dining room, outside by the pool or in one's room and we were able to cook decent meals with the equipment provided in our kitchenette. A beautiful sandy beach, a big supermarket and a direct bus into Chania were all short walks from the hotel. We could watch the sun setting over the bay from our balcony and it was really sad to leave this perfect holiday spot!

the hotel is located in a quite safe area, but easy to reach the downtown both walking and by car and it has a beach just 5 min walking from the hotel, free parking just in front of the building. rooms have kitchen with plates/ cutlery, sink, fridge, kettle and small cooking panel. also there is a balcony with table, chairs and dryer for clothes. room is very clean and comfortable, there are a lot of places to store clothes and other belongings, also there is a safe box. shower room has soap and shampoo, cleaning happens every day, they also can change towels every day if needed. breakfast is one of the best I ever seen, it had both sweet and salty dishes, also hot and cold and included both international and local cousin, you can eat in the canteen area, on your balcony and in the pool area. I would like to share separate appreciation to the receptionist lady Fotini who is the sweetest person ever and gave us a lot of useful advises every day, helped to check schedule of buses, ordered taxi, shared tips about places to visit around and to eat, she also helped to connect with car rental company person who also was very nice and provided good service, gave advises. in general, Chania is very charming town and definitely worth visiting, we enjoyed our stay a lot

The lady at reception was incredible! So friendly and so so helpful with organising transport to/from airport, organising tours from the hotel, helping us with transport/ buses and let us stay at the hotel all day after we checked out as our flight wasn’t till late. Breakfast was always amazing, so much choice and I loved how it changed a little each day. Getting to try different greek pastries/ foods each morning was great!

Stunning view from a sea-view room. Very nice pool area. The nicest receptionist ever, very helpful not only about the hotel but also the nearby attractions. Very close to a nice beach. Quite close to the city center. The room is bright and comfortable. Everything is very clean. Breakfasts are very good and part of it changes every day. Plenty of space to park on the street. Quiet area.

I can only complain about the neighbours smoking on the balconies...

Great views and location. Delicious breakfast with excellent choice. Really enjoyed the pool area for relaxing during the afternoons. Reception staff were lovely and friendly and offered good restaurant tips!

A few issues with the bathroom. The shower leaked water on the bathroom floor and the adapter got stuck a couple of times so the water would only come out the tap.

Helpful and friendly staff, brilliant pool area with complimentary water and a small fee to pay for towels if you don’t bring your own. Big rooms with great view and extremely clean with nice free toiletries. 30 minute beautiful walk along the beach to the old Venetian harbour with lots of nice bars and restaurants along the way
