Staff friendly, we were given a sea view room free of charge. Rooftop pool fantastic. There was always a parking space right outside the hotel.

There is no soundproofing in the room at all, you can hear everything going on in the hotel behind the door, every step, every movement. There is no fresh food (fruit, vegetables) for breakfast. Bad internet in the room.

The staff were lovely the entire trip and made us feel really welcome. The buffet style restaurant was super convenient and the pool was a great spot to spend the day relaxing. The view was absolutely stunning!

The beds were a bit uncomfortable. There wasnt anything in the room telling you about the facilities or things to do in the area. The lady told us at check in but it was hard to remember everything. We had no mobile service or wifi service in our room except on the balcony. It was available in the restaurant/reception and pool area though.

Great views across the bay from the lobby, dining room, bar, pool and most of the rooms. Breakfast buffet was generous and well stocked. Rooms were spacious, large beds, big balconies. Two pools and free parking Staff were all friendly and helpful Great location, close to a fantastic beach and beach bar.

No noise isolation, people in the hallways made a lot of noise at night in the corridors in front of the rooms, so bring ear plugs. Balcony doors wouldn’t close properly, but nobody could climb in, so wasn’t a big deal. WiFi was not reliable, you wouldn’t be able to work during your stay or stream films.

Location, views to die for. Good buffet breakfast. Nice bungalow with a great pool of our own. Great friendly staff. Quiet area. Good restaurants, supermarkets and shops nearby. The cleaning staff and the gardener were exceptional. We were worried about the past reviews but were pleasantly surprised. Will return!

Whole hotel could do with painting and back entrance steps need refurbishing as felt they were a safety issue with broken tiles and unsafe steps, also a bit smelly around that area! The upper pool area barman we felt could have tidied up the sunloungers at end of the day, wiping them down and clearing up the plastic cups that were flying around the pool area in the wind and he also never had any change so we couldn't order drinks! The old fashioned lift could do with refurbishing as it broke down twice.

We had a bit of a disaster the day before our honeymoon. Where the hotel previously booked cancelled us. After booking with Paleo ArtNouveau we arrived and the staff had upgraded us kindly to a suite for the trouble we had gone through with the previous hotel. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The bed and room was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast lunch and dinner was very reasonable per person.

We didn't enjoy the buffet dinner. We found it wasn't very hot or tasty but we very much did enjoy the breakfast buffet every morning

The breakfast was gorgeous and there was a wide variety of foods to choose from, the location was beautiful and the hotel had lots of facilities such as restaurants, a bar, a rooftop pool and bar and it was overall very enjoyable.

My only complaint would be that the wifi and connection was terrible in the rooms, but somehow better on the rooftop pool, other than that, everything was perfect

Excellent buffet breakfast - huge choice with some items freshly made as you ordered. We stayed for dinner one night and €15 for the buffet again represented great value. The rooftop pool was also very good. Hotel is in a fantastic location with stunning view from our balcony ( see pic).

No air-con in the restaurant or bar . There are fans but its not that comfortable. Tiny lift. We are happy with the stairs even though we were on top floor. But can be a long wait if you have luggage. Hotel decor - looks a little shabby but again good value so who cares.

We've just come back from a fantastic stay at Paleo ArtNouveau Hotel. We were really happy with our rooms, we went through Booking.com as we were specifically after the Luxury Bungalow with Private Pool - we were able to get two next to each other - it was quite a novelty having a private pool on our patio and being able to go for swim, even after the main pools had closed. The rooms were quite a decent size and had evrything we needed. The hotel is in a great location and there are some great beaches within an easy walk from the hotel (our favourite beach was Agios Spiridon Beach - it was about a half an hour walk away, but if we were feeling lazy the "Green Bus" stop was right outside the hotel and ran every half an hour). There are quite a selection of restaurants nearby and we couldn't fault any of them - we went to Nereids Restaurant & Bar across the road on their Greek Night - it was rally good fun and only a 2 minute walk away. I was a bit worried about some of the complaint I saw regarding the La Grotta Bar playing loud music late at night - I must say it wasn't too intrusive and we actually spent a fantastic day there, swimming in their rock pools and drinking cocktails all afternoon! We had breakfast in the hotel every morning - there was a great variety of things to choose from and even our fussy kids found things to eat. Again, the hotel is really close to Car Rental and Boat Hire offices and it was really easy to arrange. The Hotel Reception Staff were fantastic and extremely helpful, were were able to book a Boat Trip to Praga through them and it all workout out perfectly...

Our room was right next to the Roof Top Pool - it really was a fantastic, quiet pool and the barman there made some great cocktails. the only catch was that there wasn't much shade - it could definitely have done with some umbrella's up there.

If you plan to travel most of the day, and not staying at the hotel for the whole vacation, and prefer staying in a non-fancy hotel, I recommend this place. I chose it because it costs much less than other hotels in the area, and it was much better than I expected. The hotel is in an excellent location. It’s right above La Grotta bar, 10 min driving from the famous beaches in Palaiokastritsa (rovinia, Porto timoni, liaoades) and 3 min walking from Akron beach (by taking the stairs next to the pool). The hotel is facing the beach, so it has a great view. It has 2 swimming pools (we didn’t try them). The hotel receptionists are nice and helpful, and there are 20 parking spots to parking your car on a space available basis. In conclusion, I think that compared to the low cost- the return worths it.

The room is nice, the cleaning is not high quality (the room service only makes the bed and cleans the floor, but doesn’t change the sheets or cleans the dust), it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us because we got to the room late at night and went out traveling early in the morning.
