The hotel has a traditional style from inside which I really like. There was a beautiful view from the balcony to the old fortress and the sea. The staff in the restaurant, the ladies in the massage section and the cleaning staff are all very nice and helpful. Mon Repos Estate (former summer palace of Greek royal family) I could reach in 5-10 minutes by foot. Dinner was included in my reservation but for those who don’t add it to the booking, there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby.

The staff at the reception is ignorant. They are answering questions with 1 word only without a smile and they don’t even look at you. They are only nice with people from UK and Germany which is not acceptable in my opinion. Guests from not rich countries should be treated on the same way. The reception staff would need a training in communication urgently.

Near the airport but no noise from planes. Good location in a residential area, so not too touristy, easy access to the town either by regular bus (€2/person) or lovely 20 minute walk. Close to the sea with views from every bedroom veranda. Good €20 evening buffet including a glass of wine. Friendly staff.

No plug for my bath, which I was looking forward to! We stayed for two nights before travelling to Paxos. Had we been staying longer, the pool would have been a bit disappointing as it was small and located between the hotel and the road.

absolutely lovely breakfast and sitting overlooking the sea. the pool is small but most visitors are not here for that so it doesn’t get crowded. the beds were huge and comfortable. great location. good walk to the town, just what i love after a heavy meal and all along the sea. and access to the sea right over the road. No beach as such but if you want a beach you don’t choose to stay in Corfu town.

we were given 2 pods a day for the coffee machine in the room. it wasn’t that easy to get more. there were coffee and tea sachets to make a normal drink but no kettle so the only way is to pour hot water several times through the machine to get a hot tea. also no milk only coffee cream. didn’t ask though to be fair. the shower could have been more powerful just a head on a stick. ceiling waterfall would have been nicer. none of this would stop me returning however.

Fantastic location in Corfu city very close to old city. Excellent staff very friendly especially Costas dinning room manager exceptional customer service and also Efi who served us diligently. Parking is a bit tricky but as we had a small car we managed as it’s very narrow streets in Corfu. The breakfast is simply bliss wonderful variety of options excellent salads and sweets simply delicious. Dinner is just too good and as we were hotel guests we only paid 20€ per person for absolutely delicious meal with a glass of red or white wine. The only cons of this hotel was the bathrooms very old and water pressure very low especially for hot water that’s leaves u with a little sour taste. Every evening there is some artist performance singing or instrumental so one can just sit back and relax and rewind after a day full of amazing beaches. We will definitely visit again.

Location, staff, breakfast and dinner

Lovely staff, great location for airport and walk to Corfu town. Breakfast is fabulous. Buffet tea is worth the money too

The hotel is tired. Bathrooms are dated. Whenever it was last painted it wasn't done particularly well...splashes on the doors, paint on the skirting. No kettle...and the coffee machine does not heat the water to a high enough temperature for a good cup of tea. Walls are thin. Double glazed french doors had a gap underneath them so not soundproof. The fruit juices at breakfast aren't fresh ...concentrated and not particularly nice.

Very friendly and relaxed hotel. Staff very welcoming, we were fortunate to secure a seaview, and would recommend that to enhance holiday.

Mattress was a little hard, but that I guess is down to personal choice!

We booked a double sea view room, while the rooms are very nice and beds are comfortable, the bathrooms could do with an upgrade. We had a view of the sea and fortress which was really nice but slightly obscured by an apartment complex. The hotel overall is very nice and has a certain charm that can't be explained. It also has a small swimming pool and lounging area for guests to relax. We had a fantastic lunch in the hotel on the day we arrived, really good menu, food and choice. The hotel staff are really nice and pay a lot of attention to detail. The hotel has an excellent location for visiting Corfu town with buses available just outside, the hotel has no car park so finding parking outside can be difficult.

The bathrooms are a bit outdated with the shower head on the wall in the bathtub. Getting in and out of the shower could be difficult for older guests. Although the lunch was excellent, the evening buffet dinner was not good at all. Choice was limited and food was very very salty

The room was quite decent in size and had a little balcony over looking the swimming pool. As the weather was quite cool, there were no swimmers but a few brave sun bathers. Breakfast was decent - a good selection but this is repeated over and over again which can get boring when your stay is more extended. Coffee according to my travel companions was of a very poor quality and they were painfully slow in topping up. The bar service in the evening was efficient and we enjoyed sitting outside for our drinks before adjourning for dinner.

The pigeons that roam the breakfast buffet restaurant - very unhygienic and rather worrying since avian flu is quite prevalent.

We had a glorious room (presidential suite) and although a little tired, it was very nice. The views and the balcony were wonderful. The staff were very attentive, location was good & we had massages which were really relaxing

Having read so many reviews raving about the breakfasts we were expecting to rally enjoy the breakfasts. However, personally neither of us enjoyed this unfortunately. Being vegetarian we though the choice was limited and although plenty of cakes & salad no yoghurt, cereal etc. Also only one pan for making omelettes- so we couldn't have these (meat cooked in pan) Although the pool is a lovely and refreshing 'dip' pool. It isn't very private and extremely limited sunbeds or seats. So if you are coming to laze my a pool- this hotel isn't for you.

Absolutely everything!!! I love this place. The team of the hotel is extraordinary, one big wonderful family and the guest is always treated as such too. Great! Definitely the best place to stay in Corfu. That includes the location: Outside the crowded Corfu City but within reach of the latter in just a 10 min bus drive. Been to Corfu 4 times and wouldn't wanna go somewhere else. Please stay like that! You're doing everything 100% right!

- Slightly hard beds (but that's a personal thing). - The live music in the hotel is a little bit too often in the week. And with performing until 22:30 or 23:00 also a bit long.
