Can't say what it will be like in the summer season but was so quiet in the evening as we stayed in the beginning of May. Staff were very pleasant. Didn't use any of the facilities as we used this as a base to explore the eastern side of crete. Food was very nice and varied to cater for all.

The hotel is built on the hillside so if you're not good with steps this isn't the place for you. Although a short walk into the centre of Agios Nikolaos not pleasant coming back in the dark as quite deserted so didn't feel completely safe. But didn't have any problems, maybe me being paranoid.

We loved the vibe - secluded, sleepy/relaxed, right by a fantastic quiet beach! The room was pretty basic but very spacious with a great layout. It was spottlessly clean - and was cleaned every day and nice big clean towels every day. Big balcony with an excellent view. Food was surprisngly good. Would totally recommend if you are looking for something simple & quiet. Location - nothing much by the hotel except a couple of tavernas and small shop and the beach - but really you dont need much more. The town was a good 10-15 min walk

Not enough sunbeds on the beach or by the pools. WIFI was pretty weak at peak hours The access to the rooms - there are a lot of stairs You need to request a lower floor if you have mobility issues But the view is worth it!

We paid a good price for half board. Breakfast and dinner were served buffet-style and the food was mostly good. There was enough parking space and you can leave your car at the hotel and reach Agios Nikolaos if you walk for 10 - 15 min. Pool areas were nice and had enough sunbeds. There is a cute small beach if you cross the road. Overall it was a pleasant stay for the price we paid.

Our room was somewhat outdated (the bathroom could use some renovation) and the balcony window/door did not lock. The mattresses were not very comfortable, neither were the pillows, but it was manageable and eventually we got used to them.

The pools and sun beds area were excellent! The location is walkable from down and many nice spots nearby. The rooms and balconies are very comfortable. Really good value for money in terms of stay. The spa was excellent as well and Sophia did an amazing job with our cretan messages.

The food, alcohol were just absolutely terrible quality in the main restaurant. We paid for half board but ended up eating out most of the time given the low quality of ingredients and tasteless dishes. It was such a pity because this was literally the only place in Crete we didn't like the food in our 10 days across west and east. Also, Even water or any non alcoholic drink wasn't included in the half board meals which was shocking! I felt bad for all inclusive guests who were stuck with watery beer, wine and the food here.

Location is very close to beach, beach is small beach but good and clean with good restaurant. Staff specially the one dropping off by vehicle to room were very friendly and always smiling They also upgraded our room with lovely view which made our stay relaxing. Will definitely come back again. Very big hotel but really relaxing.

Breakfast was average and ok. No fresh juice no decent coffee was very disappointing, food in general did not look appealing and needs improvement ,so we skipped bfast few times. But good tavern for lunch at door step.

Very friendly and easy atmosphere. Good access to the town. Great views across the bay to the mountains beyond.The 2 large rectangular swimming pools where the best I have ever encountered on many holidays abroad. They where spotlessly clean with lots of sunbeds. Vehicle access can be problematic to the complex as a result of parked vehicles for beach access and van deliveries/collection.

Please see comment below re access etc. Also, a dress code such as smart casual for dinner would enhance the experience.

I liked everything about this hotel. The check in was smooth, the hotel has a lot of free parking areas for guests with rent-a-cars. It is located right at the Gargadoros beach, it is walking distance to Amoudara beach and 10-15 mins drive to beautiful Voulisma beach. Also, 10-15 walking distance to the centre of Agios Nikolaos, where all the restaurants are located. The room was spacious and clean, it had beautiful sea view and the breakfast was really good. Highly recommend, also nice value for money!

We didn't have Wifi in our room and noone came to fix it, even we called for it several times.

The location is simply superb! It is in a quiet place with marvellous view, 10 minutes away from a small town Agios Nikolaos with all needed attractions and the ferry to Santorini and other cities! Not far there is a sandy beach Almyros (simply great!) and in front of the hotel there is a pebble and rocky beach Παραλία Γαργαδόρος - the slippers are must! The restaurant was great. Nice and diverse meals. The staff was friendly, multilingual and met us in the restaurant every day. The manager would show us the way to the table and help with anything we had in mind. I wanted specifically to compliment the manager's work here as the restaurant seemed to be working like a clock when he's around.

The reception staff sometimes were disoriented. For example, put one room number on the records and gave us keys from another. Sometimes trivial questions required several hours to resolve and we ended up suggestisting the solutions ourselves (changing excursions that we bought from them/fixing mismatches on the menus which we're charged for). We hoped that for this size of the hotel, they could have more restaurants or activities on site. There are two bars - one at pool (works till 5pm) and another one at sea (works from 5pm), why not to have them work at the same time? Some on-cite attractions like tennis, big and small amphitheaters are abandoned.

really great location a little bit outside of the city center. full property looks quite nice. very friendly staff in the restaurant. great big pillows. nice rooms.

breakfast buffet could have more variety across days. the gym was not clean at all (only after asking to clean it 4 days into our stay it was done). some of the reception staff was not very forthcoming. the animation activities at the pool were very loud.
