The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff were friendly. Two lovely pools and the whole hotel was well kept and modern. The hotel backed on to a private beach which was lovely.

The food wasn't great unfortunately. We ended up eating out every lunch and dinner as the food lacked in variety and taste. I was also a little disappointed that the 'all inclusive' only captured soft dinks, a red wine, a white wine and one draft beer, so no variety on alcohol. All other alcoholic drinks and snacks/ice creams were charged outside of the all inclusive.

Everything! The staff were warm and so friendly. Eleni deserves a special mention - she is an absolute gem . The location was ideal for us - away from noise of a big resort but very easy to access Platanais and Chania. The room was large, comfortable and immaculately clean with a fabulous view over the beach. Food was fresh and tasty. The hotel never felt crowded and we were always able to get sun loungers by the pool and on the beach . Would highly recommend.

Nice place, for families. Not much to do besides that. Food is good / you'll get different versions of leftovers as time passes. The staff is super friendly.

200 euros were missing from my wallet when left in the room.

We have been looking for our holiday place for a very long time due to the need to provide a place for a large family of 6 people. In the end, we decided on the Silver Beach hotel and it was a hit! We are enchanted by this place and the people working there. Incredibly friendly, professional hotel staff, fairytale location right by the sea full of life with the possibility of snorkeling. Very comfortable family apartments with their own terrace overlooking the sea towards the setting sun and the rising moon. A pleasant pool that allows you to refresh yourself on hot days. A huge selection of delicious meals. The hotel's location makes it easy to access numerous attractions in the western part of Crete. The facility allows for a comfortable stay with children for large families, contemplation of wild nature, giving an irresistible feeling of a friendly place. I highly recommend it. Sea view, ground floor room, balcony with direct access to the beach. A strip of grass between the hotel and the beach, with trees and natural shadow. Variety of food for lunch and dinner. All staff were very heartwarming, welcoming, and hospitable. Especially Eleni, lady at the pool bar. Greetings to Eleni!

Coffee that is included in the price is just bad. There was an alternative with espresso at the bar and we had to prepare our own in the room (as bars are open from 9 AM). Anyway, I'd expect from all-inlusive with this price range to have decent coffee if not proprer espresso. Breakfast was ok, but could be of better quality and to have more variety.

The hotel is located right on the beach, which is extremely relaxing. The view from the "Sea view rooms" is amazing. There was absolutely no fight for sunbeds at the pool areas - totally zen atmosphere at the pools, which creates a feeling of relaxation. Small buildings, less people, no crowds, perfectly managed grounds and beautiful flowers. The staff is working very hard and diligently, but always smiling. Spacious and clean rooms. There are several nice cats always available for petting and feeding in the garden. :) Food is good and you can always pick up something.

The sofa beds used for kids are very hard. Good that kids are not that sensitive... The beach in front of the hotel is not the perfect one - quite pebbly and steep entering the water. Beer and wine, served as part of the full board, are just water. No taste of alcohol.

the hotel was great! the staff was incredible and made us feel right at home! great location right on the beach and was just a super nice stay.

my only wish was that there was more of a variety of food choices from day to day. many of the same things offered at each meal with only a few new things each time. when you stay for awhile it would be nice to have something different each day. yes, there were a couple new things, but basically the same, just prepared a bit different. spaghetti with sauce every lunch and dinner, same eggs and meat for breakfast. the food was good, but just wished for more of a variety!

Amazing hotel, it is not a huge resort, but big enough to have everything you would want 1) Stuff is amazing, going above and beyond to keep customers happy. Everybody knew us by name by first morning. It felt great. No bracelets, stuff just knows their guests and they been very flexible and nice to us. 2) Food - very fresh, tasty, healthy. I'd say rather simple, but good (every meal there been 2-3 more elaborated options) 3) Hotel is literally on the beach. Rooms with sea view is so close by the sea, that on balcony you feel already on a beach. there been no fights for sunbeds, it seemed to have enough for everybody 4) We got better room, that we have booked. it was huge and bed/pillows was comfortable

1) Swimming pool is not heated. We been end of September and water was warmer in a sea, than a pool 2) (Not a hotel fault) I like to take walks everyday, and i found area around is not exceptionally good for walking. even though it has plenty supermarkets and actually nice restaurants, it was impossible to get a walk with nice view.

Good base location for visiting beaches on the northwest side of Crete. All inclusive was a nice plus that helped save on meals and time when returning from sightseeing all day and not having to go elsewhere to find food, however we were never there for lunches. They even had sandwiches and water in our fridge upon arrival after traveling all day to get there from the States. Very clean, modern decor and plenty of storage for clothes. Great view of the sea right on the beach. Best pool bar staff with Eleni and Claudia! Eleni is a true gem and works hard. She made the best drinks and all staff was friendly and welcoming.

The AC would not keep the room cool enough for me especially when sleeping at night. Had to sleep without any covers. For whatever reason, AC would not keep running and had to keep hitting the start button throughout the mornings/evenings when there. Bathroom had no fan/vent, but was done with a small window that you cracked open or fully open.

I've never seen more clean place than this. Very nice, clean and spacious place. Good dishes with wide choice, very helpful and polite staff. The private beach is clean and pretty. There are enough shadow and sun beds at the pool and at the beach as well. Infrastructure and the rooms furniture are looking as brand new.

The location of the resort is a little bit far from the tourists areas, so you will need to take a bus every day if you want to walk and enjoy Chania or Platania tourist zones. However the bus station is really close to the resort, the bus scheduled every 30 min. Good for people that are looking for the calm and quiet holiday and relaxation . Less suitable for small children as there are no any playroom, animations or other activities.
