We visited Gytheio during Christmas and it was a very nice experience for 83 euros including breakfast for two. The room was luxurious with great view at the third floor and the breakfast was very good too. The bed was very big and super comfortable. The bathroom had a weird layout and no noise and visibility separation, probably to look fancy under natural light. A light curtain would be useful. Balcony was huge if you visit during the summer. In general Gytheio is worth a visit during winter, you will avoid excessive heat and tons of tourists.

Such a big hotel must have some kind of charging facilities for electric passenger cars. The nearest charging station was some time walking. At least one charging spot is needed.

The hotel is located very well, near the center of Gythio and very close to the sea. Breakfast was good, the staff was helpful and pleasant.

We had a problem with the electricity in one of the rooms, however it was fixed the next day. The main comment I have is related to the triple rooms - I explicitly looked for a room with a double bed + a twin bed, however the triple rooms actually have a sofa bed. The description of the rooms is misleading with regards to this specific point.

LAS Hotel is very nice 4-stars hotel, the best facility in Gythio, perfect central location, spacious and clean room and we stay here for third summer. There is fantastic breakfast and also beautiful panoramic view from roof terrace.

Service has deteriorated. Despite offerred honor membership the price was higher. They didn't place neither body lotions nor conditioner even after making note for it. Last day we got only one shower gel and one shampoo. Towels are worn out like in 3*, wash basin was damaged and not replaced. After having the tea on first day, it was not added anything, just water put every day.

Central location, huge room and balcony (we were upgraded), extremely comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful receptionists, well equipped gym. Incredibly low price (low season promotion). Everything looks good, feels good, smells good.

Breakfast was good, but nothing outstanding for that kind of hotel. Poor coffee made by those horrible coffee machines that never work properly, while so many hotels in Greece serve excellent fresh coffee in simple coffee pots. The trendy decoration of the rooms sometimes overlooks practicality (designer’s washbasin, shower and toilet located immediately behind the bed, with a large opening that doesn’t allow much privacy, etc.). Those are small details, but at that level of quality, or even luxury, every detail counts.

Like being in heaven for a few days! The hotel is extremely modern and located in the best area of the city, close to the sea. Rooms are well organized, big and super clean. Many services are available for the guests and the spa is really nice. However, I must specifically thank the staff that even helped me in organizing a little surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday. Everything was awesome.

Exceptional! Modern, well appointed hotel one block away from the waterfront where the city comes alive at night with locals and tourists. The breakfast buffet is expansive and delicious. Don't miss the 360 rooftop restaurant and pool...the views are spectacular! The 360 restaurant serves fusion foods, not necessarily traditional Greek dishes but delicious dishes that will keep you coming back for lunch and dinner. The beds are soooo comfortable so after a long day of visiting the local sites, you'll drift off in luscious comfort. The staff was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend LAS Hotel.

The room's A/C controller is advanced, maybe too advanced for the everyday traveler. Sometimes simpler is better. Other than that little glitch, we loved our stay.

The location is perfect, the rooms were nice, clean and modern, we loved the rooms. The restaurant upstairs it was really nice and with a beautiful view.

The staff didn’t allow us to enjoy the pool and for 3 days they didn’t let us go to the pool… it was really bad and sad as we booked this hotel for the pool. The staff on the jacuzzi was extremely rude and disrespectful, my little brother went to the jacuzzi as they didn’t allows us to go to the pool and he didn’t know that he had to book for it and the lady there was screaming at him and telling him that he is a bad kid and so more.

Location was good, right next to lots of restaurants with a view of the harbour. Breakfast was varied and so delicious. Spa was very accommodating with our last minute booking, the massage was very nice and relaxing. The gym was nice with late night access. Beds were very comfortable. Friendly staff. Very clean hotel. The rooftop restaurant served delicious food and drink.

The service at the rooftop restaurant was a bit slow when it came to paying, we were stood around waiting for someone to take our money. The shower leaked when we showered and there was water on floor. We had asked to stay in a twin deluxe room and instead got given a double deluxe room, from the pictures we understood you could separate the bed and make two singles hence why we booked this room. There was also no duvet on the bed, just a sheet and a blanket.

The hotel is sleek and modern with a Scandinavian aesthetic, an interesting contrast to the gritty harbor town of Gythio. Our rooms were lovely and spacious. We enjoyed being in the middle of the city and walking to restaurants at night. The view from the rooftop bar/restaurant was fabulous. We had a bottle of wine there before going elsewhere for dinner and enjoyed watching the sunset, a full moon rise, the lighthouse flashing in the distance, and large ships maneuvering in and out of the harbor. The gym was nice and the woman running the spa was friendly and helpful. It was quite hot out so I really enjoyed being able to do a workout in an air-conditioned space. Breakfast was good with many options. Gythio is an excellent base for exploring the Mani Peninsula.

Unfortunately the rooms don't have nice sea views however we were not expecting them as this is not a waterfront hotel. Our rooms had views of a dilapidated abandoned building. Travelers should be aware that this is simply reality in Gythio and rural Greece in general. You see a lot of this everywhere you go. Although the hotel doesn't have any parking, we did not have any problem unloading our luggage or finding nearby parking. The swimming pool is more decorative than practical. If having a pool for kids to play in all day is something you need, this would not be a good choice.

The hotel and room were luxuriously decorated and modern. The room was spacious with an oversized, comfortable bed and sitting area. The bathroom was very modern and spacious with a separate shower and toilet area. The included breakfast was varied, delicious and plentiful. The location was excellent and the 360 degree rooftop bar and restaurant was amazing for the food, beverages, cocktails and views.

The vanity vessel sink was modern but provided no side space shelf.
