LOVED everything about Pillbox! Emmanuel was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, a great size, had everything that we needed. The housekeepers were all very friendly and did a brilliant job. The location is perfect, close to bars and restaurants with free sunbeds on the small beach right in from of the apartments. There are steps down into the sea from the beach and also a lovely beach just a 2 minute walk away. The area was calm and peaceful with stunning views of the sea, other islands and the mountains, beautiful! There is space to park a car on the road at the side and to the rear of the property. There is a small supermarket a few minutes walk away and larger supermarkets slightly further away. The Deluxe room number 3 that we stayed in was up some stairs, the room had air con, TV, a lovely big bed, a harder mattress than we are used to but we slept so well. A small table with 2 chairs, a small kitchen with a coffee maker, there were several days worth of coffee pods supplied with some teas and sugar. The fridge had water, some cans of beer and some lovely snacks which were so very appreciated. A kettle, toaster and a small induction hob, washing up liquid, tea towel and sponge also provided. A small but very well designed bathroom (no bath) with the best shower ever is within the room, hair and body wash was provided and towels. The room was cleaned every 2 days. There was a hair dryer and the wardrobe had plenty of clothes hangers although we took a few extra hangers to be on the safe side. The small balcony with a table and 2 chairs and a clothes rail was lovely to sit out on, overlooking the sea. The room was perfect for our needs, quirkily decorated, very modern with a vintage twist. Absolutely perfect!!!! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

Everything was brilliant, I could find no faults whatsoever, we would stay here again and again.

Emmanuel was a super friendly and diligent host. Nothing was too much bother; an all round great guy. The location is perfect and by far the favourite location we have ever stayed at in the village. The sun loungers were great and there was easy access in and out of the sea via the steps. The bed was very comfortable the best we have known in Greece. The shower had great water pressure and temperature control and it didn't flood which can be an issue at some properties. The level of kitchenware available was adequate but you wouldn't be in a position to do some 'real' cooking if required. A lovely touch were some goodies in the fridge on arrival....which proves that hosts obviously value their customers and take pride in looking after them. A great stay!!

Everything about this accommodation was 5 star! The apartment had everything you would want. The attention to detail and our welcome pack was very much appreciated. Emannuel was so lovely and welcoming, what a star he was! Looking out onto the beach from our ground floor apartment and seeing the ocean was a stunning sight at ever point if the day. Very quiet through the night which meant we were all rested for the next day! The restaurants and shops are a 2 min walk away and cater for every taste. I have to say I will definitely be back next year... Emannuel youve got an amazing place and look forward to seeing you again 😎

Absolutely nothing

The location was just amazing, a private quiet beach out front but still only a few minutes walk to restaurants, bars, shops etc. Lovely laid back vibe. The sea was unreal, so clear. We were so close to it that you could pop down for a dip in the morning before having your breakfast. We walked around everywhere in Kardamena and this location was our favorite. We stayed in the deluxe double first floor apartment. It had everything we needed for the 6 nights. Next time I'd love to stay in the ground floor apartment for a bit of extra space for a longer stay. The host Emmanuel was great too, friendly and professional, easy to talk to etc. The place was spotless as well. We had a great holiday and can't wait to go back. Thanks Emmanuel.

Balcony was very warm but you can't change the weather. Air con unit was on the balcony which made it warmer and noisy when it was on but because the beach and sun beds are so close we usually just went down there with our morning coffee and looked out at the sea.

How do you describe perfection with one word?... Pillbox! This may have been one of the best holidays I've ever had... and I've seen a bit of the world😄 The apartments are even nicer than the pictures can tell. They are very well equipped, exquisitely decorated and extremely clean. I really felt at home during my two-week stay in August. I didn't cook much but there is everything you need to prepare a full meal if you want. The bathroom has a good size with a very powerful shower as well as excellent lights. The bedroom is very spacious with a real comfy bed, a large wardrobe with a safe box, iron/board, hairdryer and plenty of hangers. The location is unbeatable!... supermarkets, shops, restaurants, everything is within a 5-10 minutes walk. Try Anemos just around the corner for the best fish on the island or Alexander right at the beginning of the port promenade... both have excellent food, outstanding service, incredible views and great wine! You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the private beach during the whole day and if you want something more lively you can always find other beaches to spend the day in Kardamena... but you won't need it! As other users have mentioned, Manos is one of a kind! He is so professional and attentive, nothing is too much for him. He would help you with whatever you may need. Also the other guests at the time of my stay were very nice and polite and so was Nella, the lady in charge of the cleaning... always with a big bright smile on her face. My advise: get up early and admire the sunrise... it's one of the best spots on this Earth to do it. Greece never disappoints... people are so kind and welcoming that you cannot help but falling in love with the place. Ευχαριστώ πολύ

Location was perfect for us, just a short walk from the village to the tavernas, restaurants and bars. The studio apartment was a good size and finished to a high standard, the shower room was lovely, again finished to a high standard, and it was all immaculately clean. Emmanuel met us on arrival to give us our key, helped us upstairs with our luggage and showed us around the apartment. A lovely touch was the bottle of water and some little treats in the fridge, especially as we arrived late. We loved having the sunbeds on the beach just in front of the apartments for use of residents and it was so peaceful. The balcony was just big enough for us to have lunch on or a couple of drinks before going out. Emmanuel was the perfect host and very helpful.

We stayed at the Pillbox for 3 nights and could not fault it. The rooms are lovely with beautiful sea views and everything you need. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with access to free sun loungers. It's only a short walk into the centre; shops, bars, restaurants etc. The owner Emmanuel is brilliant, incredibly helpful and nothing was too much for him. We will definitely return and highly recommend the Pillbox for a relaxing break.

Pillbox Apartments are those apartments you see on your holiday and wish you booked it! We were blown away by how perfect the place was. We flew in from the hustle and bustle of Santorini, into a haven of seafront quiet. We had one of the patio apartments, which had a full kitchen, washing machine, terrace and straight onto sandy seafront. We only wish we stayed for longer. Kardamena is close to the airport, and it's a delightfully compact town, with everything you might need only a 2 minute walk away from Pillbox. Emmanuel is a gent, always a text message away, and the Greek cats that come with the property were just delightful! We are already planning our next holiday here in September (which is a great time to come!)

Spotless clean accomodation in a enviable peaceful location right on the beach with own comfortable sunbeds and parasol, close to great restaurants and cocktail bars.Very friendly and attentive host.Loved every minute and made for perfect relaxing holiday.

Hard pressed to find any negatives as we had the best of times and encountered zero issues, if we had I'm sure Emmanuel would have resolved 🙂

The apartment was in immaculate condition. Very comfortable, clean and modern with great kitchen facilities and everything you could possibly need. Welcome pack was a nice touch. The cleaning lady changed towels, bedding and changed the bins regularly . She was very thorough in her cleaning regime. View from the apartment was spectacular, overlooking the bay.

There was nothing we could think of we disliked
