We did not spend too much time at the accommodation but overall I think it's good value for money. The area is quiet but still close enough to walk to Kos town (about 30 mins). The apartments are basic but are equipped with everything you need.

The apartments are listed as "self-catering units" but I wasn't really aware that this would also apply to cleaning. If you want any sort of room cleaning you have to ask for it 3 days in advance. Not a big deal, just keep that in mind. Also the pillows are rock hard. I'm usually not very fussed about how soft or hard the bed is and can sleep in any position, but the pillows are a nightmare.

Staff were super welcoming and friendly, great location, very clean, great facilities. Ilknur stayed up till we got in safe from our flight after midnight, Lorna gave us great recommendations which we followed religiously throughout our stay and loved them all! Was really helpful and friendly. Mark went out of his way to book our boat trip for us, nothing was too big of a job to do. Overall a very welcoming, relaxing and safe atmosphere which really added so much to our stay! We can’t thank them enough. Bike rental very close to location, was very affordable and worth it for stay Location was so handy! 40 minute drive from airport (€41 taxi) 15 minute cycle to Kos town centre or 30 min walk 10 min walk to stoney beach 20 min cycle to sandy beach 15 min cycle / 30 min walk to bus station

This is a very special and charming place-The owner and staff are incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. I believe the accommodation standard in Greece is slightly more basic than other countries-For me I liked the charm of it-Everything was clean, modern(ish) and there are lots of cleaning staff and staff in reception/pool bar/café-The AC which is included in the price is absolutely amazing and a must for any stay in Greece during the summer season. The food and drinks prepared at bar were delicious and reasonably priced. Rooms have balcony area to dine and dry clothes. A room clean is available every 3 days included in the price with fresh linen and towels. There was always lots of hot water. The swimming pool which is not lifeguarded is decent, it is very family-friendly. There was never any noise at night. There is a pool table, games and a library. Staff are very helpful in recommending trips, booking taxis etc. There is so much to do and see around the area. Bikes are the best option for any stay here. We chose to hire bikes from the nearby bike hire-only €20 for 7 days. The small supermarket shops are more expensive, so be prepared for that if you don't have a car. The choice of restaurants is amazing and the sea is a 5 min walk away. There are very cheap sunbeds to hire on the beach, typically from €5 a day. There are beautiful handmade arts and crafts being sold in reception, made by the owners mother which make beautiful gifts-The proceeds go to feed and care for local stray cats-This is a heavenly place for any animal lovers as there are a lot of friendly cats around-We even saw a wild chicken with chicks wandering about. There are excellent boat trips available-we went on a 2 island trip recommended by the owner which was excellent. The countryside is beautiful here with a variety of flowering shrubs. The gym was more than adequate for a holiday workout but would benefit from AC.

I cant think of much I didn't like, watch out for one of the the cats claws as some may inadvertently scratch you while playing...maybe a microwave in kitchen area and AC in gym-But honestly these are only small suggestions and not totally necessary.

This place is great. We had a wonderful time. The Lady at the reception was very kind and attentive and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The apartment was clean, well equipped and spacious with a large balcony. Location is in a quiet neighborhood. In the morning you wake up to the sound of birds chirping. To get to Kos-Town we rented bicycles at a rental station near-by, and a car to get around the island. If it was possible to give more than 10 stars we would definitely give them to the wonderful staff. They instantly helped us, when we later-on, upon leaving, noticed that our daughter had left some of her toys in the drawer, and was very upset. They managed to get them transported over to Bodrum with no complaints. We are so grateful for their help!

Mrs Ilnur and Lorna were amazing . Great hospitality They are both very helpful, polite and professional. The property is totally value for money , clean rooms Also offering housekeeping by request . The snack bar was satisfying clean and with quite many options . Also another 10 points was how much of an animal lover the owner is . She has many cats around the property feeding them and taking care of them . Even raising money by selling handmade knit items for the strays . Overall great experience. Will be going back for sure !!

Michalis Studios & Appartments made our holidays 2022 perfect. The owner & manager Manos is very friendly and you can always ask him for travel tips and local recommendations. The room is classical greek standard with a little balcony and air-condition and I´d like to highlight the very well-equipped kitchen, where someone really made the thoughts with the equipment (toaster/kettle/salt/pepper/sponge and dishwashing detergent). The pool is very clean and protected by the neighbouring buildings, so there´s no wind around it. During our stay we have seen other couples, families with children, young/elder guys so the place might be recommended to all travellers and due to Manoses frinedliness, everyone feels welcome. The bar is open during the day and you can enjoy breakfast/warm snacks and beer in pre-freezed glasses. You can borrow a bicycle nearby for about 4 EUR a day and reach the Kos-town in about 10 Minutes. Definitely place to recommend.

There are not enough taxis at Kos, so we had to wait more than 1 hour upon arrival and plan our pick-up taxi in advance (at least 1 day prior) to be sure to be at the airport on time.

My recent stay at Michalis Studios & Apartments was perfect in every way! I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the comfort of the rooms. The location of the hotel was also very good, I could reach everywhere easily. However, the main thing that made my stay unforgettable was the hospitality of the lady who runs the hotel. He was extremely caring and smiling. Thanks to the advice and guidance he gave about the island, I was able to plan my trip in the best way possible. There were many beautiful places I discovered by following his advice. I definitely recommend Michalis Studios & Apartments! It is an ideal place for those who want to have an unforgettable accommodation experience with its cleanliness, comfort and hospitality. I was very pleased with my stay. I will definitely come again and recommend it to everyone!

I liked the smaller intimate size of the complex. It was never too packed by the pool and at times felt as though we were the only ones there, even though it was booked out. The staff was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. Mark from Ireland and Lorna from Scotland are the best staff I have met in a long time, always have time for a chat and are just really nice people who make a difference when you are on holiday. There was a beach about 10 mins walk away with some lovely restaurants and there was a supermarket less than 5 mins walk away. I would highly recommend the location for families who want a peaceful break.

Quiet part of Kos if you are looking for something a bit out of town. Lovely helpful staff. Lovely pool. Easy to bike into main centre - we hired our bikes from Dave’s Moto on the same road as the apartments as could keep them for later into the evening. Really worth doing and easy with cycle lanes. Lots of restaurants at the bottom of the road - recommend Mavromatis. Beach at the end of the road - you do need water shoes as beaches are stoney. Good supermarket on same road as apartments.
