Amazing view and location. Right on the cliffs of Imerovigli with picture perfect views of the caldera. Great spot for sunset. Few minutes walk from restaurants. Stayed in a basic room, but everything was good, no complaints. The staff was very nice.

The hotel is a little difficult to find, google maps location isn't 100% correct. Had to ask for directions from another hotel. There really isn't any signage at the entrance, there is a mention of "Afroessa" inside of the complex near the entrance but you have to really be looking for it.

Very good location, easy walk to lots of restaurants and supermarkets. Amazing view from the hotel.I would say the best . Breakfast was simple but plentiful and served on the terrace overlooking the sea. Eddy the manager was excellent , happy to help with any queries. Good communication. Pool area was private and the hotel was quiet. Set on the coastal path so easy to walk in either direction and admire the scenery.

Nothing but it is basic compared to many around it . The price represents this but the hotel has I would say the best location , is quite and has the most jaw dropping view .

We highly recommend staying at Afroessa. The view of the caldera and sunsets are spectacular. Even better is the hotel manager, Eddie-a jack of all trades, who was so helpful and really made our stay quite enjoyable with a little chat or recommendation on activities, transportation, or dining. The entire staff was friendly and helpful as well. The rooms are modest, but cozy. The hotel is a great central location to both Fira and Oia. Also, recommend the catamaran day or evening tour. Volcano Yachting was phenomenal. Word to the wise, come prepared for lots of walking, climbing, and many, many stairs.

The stairs were challenging at times and not appropriate for people with mobility issues.

The location is magnificent with a view on the Caldera, really amazing, astonishing.

The hot tub infected with a bacteria, so my wife caught a skin bacterial infection (breast, upper and lower back) during our honeymoon which was alarming and sad. So we only use the hot tub once instead of using it the whole stay. The staff gave us directly medicine for the bacterial infection as if it is common and were prepared for it but they refused to give us a discount because of this alarming accident since the hot tub was infected!

The hotel staff Eddie and his colleague were super friendly and helpful. The room and terrace were lovely with a fantastic view across the caldera. Great location - right on the walking path between Oia and Fira, and close to lots of local restaurants. A couple of small grocery stores are nearby. The hotel is super clean and the entrance-way off the street is stunning!

The pool was very cold!

amazing view of the calderia and oia. Sunset guarantee every night (except when cloudy obviously). Imerovigli is a great spot for great views and a sunset!! The hotel is also located on the walking path to Oia, took us 1h30-45 to get to Oia and about 20-25min to get to center Fira. There is a supermarket 5min away from the hotel. Eddie who is the manager there, makes sure you have transportation to & from the hotel, helped us book a buggy/quad for us. he also let do a late check out since our ferry left later in the day! He is Always available on his phone/whats app We also had a huge breakfast every day for 15-18 euro, worth every bit we would definitely come back here when coming back to santorini

I had the most wonderful stay at Afroessa. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Santorini, making it the ideal place for a serene and relaxing getaway and to watch the marvellous sunset each night. The rooms, pool and facilities are all fantastic and the staff are all so friendly and accommodating. It is only a small hotel, but the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. I would highly recommend Afroessa to anyone heading to Santorini. This place has serious heart and soul and I feel so refreshed from my stay. Thank you!

I will start with saying that we were received very warmly from Eddie and the staff during our check in as well as during our stay. The hotel has very good sea view and a pool with sea view. Our room was cozy with a lovely view perhaps better than the sunset view from the famous Oia Village.

That we could not stay longer however we plan to come back and refer our friends to come here.

Loved the location away from the crowds but an easy walk along coastal path to Fira and a local bus ride to Oia. Really helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful view, clean with a great balcony and relaxing pool. Shower amazing too and nice decor. Restaurants and supermarkets close by.

We liked everything, but should note there are a lot of stairs that may challenge the less fit. Staff were amazing carrying our cases.

Afroessa is one of the original Imerovigli cave hotels and offers the best sunset views. As a premises it offers all the amenities including a lovely pool. But above all the team leads the rating of Afroessa. Edi is a real pro and always happy to help. He is so professional and brings organisation to your stay (but always with a nice sense of humour). Not surprisingly his leadership is reflected in the entire crew with everyone delighted to exchange pleasantries, offer advice and have a laugh.

Afroessa could do with a bit of a make-good, finishes, etc. I'm sorry if this seems picky! 300 Euro a night is also a bit steep - but in comparison to its peers, Afroessa is much better value.
