I´m a frequent Greece and Mykonos traveller (more than 20 times) and if you are searching for a mix between a room from a private family and a hotel, Villa Margarita is your place to go. Professional, private, friendly, helpful - everything you need (breakfast from a greek Mum, a scooter, a secret advice and more) is here at one place. Nikos and his family are doing everything they can to make your holiday perfect. The rooms are big and daily cleaned. You also can get towels for a more than fair price right at the reception (the beaches are asking for a minimum of 10 Euros to rent a towel per day!) The reception also offers coffee capsules, wine and local made souvenirs, all at one place without being commercial. Try it! Villa Margarita has my full support, I´ll definetely come back!

We loved everything. Our studio was perfect. Plenty of space, a big comfy bed, good A/C, fantastic shower with lots of hot water, handy kitchen with fridge, toaster and electric kettle. The balcony was a really good size, and it was lovely to look over the ocean on an evening watching the sunset. The most amazing part of our stay at Villa Margarita was the wonderful team led by brothers Nikos and Alex. They couldn't do any more than they did to make our stay perfect. They took time with us, giving great advice, answering all our questions, and arranged fantastic car hire . The location is away from the busy town and is so peaceful. It is family run, and you really feel the warmth and kindness from your first minute to the time you need to say goodbye. We highly recommend this place. We will be back Nikos and Alex.

Nothing - Everything was perfect.

Nikos and Alex were the most friendly, hospitable and helpful hosts that you can imagine. They work hard, but they will never give you the feeling that anything is too much. We felt very much Our room was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed. There is a well working AC in the room, mini fridge, even a flat iron. Bathroom was new. Breakfast can be ordered every evening from a list to your desired time (8-10am). Everything was fresh and tasty. You can get your beach towel everyday in the reception. And you'll get daily tips where to go from Nikos if you like :)

Everything great. An umbrella on the terrasse would be great, so you could eat your breakfast outside also in hot summer without overheating in the morning already.

I recently stayed at Villa Margarita, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The view is absolutely breathtaking, both day and night. From our room, we could see the beach and the cruise ships far below, creating a truly magical atmosphere. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The property itself is adorable, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff was incredibly lovely and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back very soon. Until then, thank you, Villa Margarita!

The welcoming was exceptional, those people know how the hospitality should be like. I felt like home. The view from the top was nice too, the room was clean and the breakfast was good value for money and quite delicious.

- The price was too high for what I got, but the whole island was too expensive during that time (August). - There were few problems with the bathroom (door was not closing properly, shower problems and there was a quite a bad smell). - Although the walking distance to the shops area was not far but it was not convenient, even for healthy adults. The location was good but climbing the ‘many’ stairs over and over again up to the property was not enjoyable. - The mattress was okay but could be better. - the decoration and the interior could be enhanced.

The owners were super nice to talk to and had good tips for places to visit. We also greatly appreciated the provided beach towels. It was very evident that the owners sincerely care about the visitors' wellbeing. Furthermore we had a cozy room with a nice verandah and a beautiful view from there.

The location is a bit outside the Town. Although walking only takes a few minutes there are no sidewalks. Also the beach near the residence should only be used with shoes as the rocks under the surface are extremely sharp.

Everything about this property was amazing! From the reception area to the rooms, we could not have asked for a better place to stay! Not to mention the views are outstanding. Nikos and Alex were the most gracious hosts and truly made our experience in Greece wonderful. They were both so kind and everything was super clean. The room service is amazing and they should be so proud of what they have created. We would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be coming back!

There is nothing bad to say as this was an amazing stay!

Plain and simple, the price and the people. This charming villa hit our price goals but most importantly gave us more than we expected. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. Plus the location is great, far enough away for privacy but close enough to the action that it was only a quick walk. But the staff, what a bunch of gems. Each person was available, kind and full of energy to give excellent recommendations (went to 3 of their restaurant recommendations and they were awesome). Very happy with our stay here.

The room was large, nicely set up and very clean … with a bedroom view of the bay … we loved the friendly cats! …. And the owners story it was named after their mother … who is also very nice …. And whale way out of the ordinary Nicolas drive us to the beach when cabs were not available

Some simple things - hooks on the walls to hang a few items - glass top on the table where the coffee brew machine was sitting .. if you spill water (and it’s very likely you will ) it would be better for the wood - instead of the coffee machine just get an electric kettle … easier and less hassle - remove the door where the fridge sits … it gets super hot in the cabinet and by removing the door it would improve the performance of the refrigerator -consider adding a mini spilt a/c in the main room … - add two wine glasses to the cabinet for guests to use for wine

Highly recommend! Everything about this family run villa was amazing. Nikos, Alex and Margarita are truly looking after their guests and provided tips throughout our stay there. Regarding our accommodation, we were looking to experience the way locals are living in the traditional bright white houses, high on a cliff from where you have an absolutely fantastic view every morning. And this is exactly what we found. We loved the room and the location and found it extremely easy to connect to the City Center (10 minute walk) or the closest beach (3 minute walk). Everything in the room was working properly and on the hottest day the AC unit really helped. Wifi working properly throughout the property as well. Nikos’ and Alex’s hospitality throughout our stay was a true highlight of our stay and we promised ourselves that we will come back for more. They truly care about the island and want people to make the most out of their holidays. We found their ingredients to high quality and therefore the breakfast was delicious and really filling. We were going absolutely crazy after the greek yogurt with high quality marmalade and freshly squeezed orange juice. Yes, even something usually overlooked such as the marmalade we found it to be carefully selected and not the basic, gelatinous-like that you find in most places and hotels for example. Breakfast was brought to our door every morning and we enjoyed it outside in front of the splendid Mykonos scenery. We easily arranged for transport to the airport with them as well for a fair price and this concluded probably the best holiday ever had. Again, in Mykonos you can choose to go to a fancier classic hotel and miss on the personality of the place, or you can choose to experience it the way people that live there do, and we chose the latter. Happy that we did because this was a highlight of our trip!
