convenient location, great breakfast

my room was ok for a short stay, but was small & I was disturbed by late arrivals to the room next door as the entrances to the two rooms were very close & floors being a hard surface really amplified any noise in the corridor outside. These two rooms would really work better as a family suite rather than as independent rooms. A transfer from the port would have been helpful. It isn’t very far to walk, but, factoring in the heat and luggage, I took a taxi, which was pricey for such a short journey.

This property was absolutely beautiful. It was within probably 200 m of the beach and the rooms had gorgeous views. Every morning we had a phenomenal breakfast. I lovely seating area outside where we could enjoy our breakfast every morning. So many different choices of pastries, fruits, yogurt, tea, and coffee, and all the usual breakfast items. The hotel is within walking distance to the town and in such a perfect location. We were out of the very crowded area of Naxos, but still close enough to enjoy some of the crowds when we wanted to be in the thick of things. George and his brother were amazing hosts. George went out of his way to accommodate us when we needed a room because our ferry was leaving late on or last day. Thank you George! Truly a beautiful hotel. You will not be disappointed in any way!

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Galini Hotel. We arrived by early ferry and on arrival we were offered breakfast. The breakfast was the best on our trip so far, such a selection of homemade goods. We received an upgrade on our room, which was modern and comfortable, including a bottle of wine and water. The owner gave a good introduction of the island, where to visit and places to eat. Assisted with organising car hire at a good rate. Location is good, close to the beach, short walk to the port, restaurants and shops. Naxos Chora is a wondetful place with a labyrinth of alley ways. Leaving the town, there are many traditional villages and stunning views to be seen. Sorry our stay was so short, definitely a place to return too, thanks for the warm friendly welcome.

Fantastic stay! Georgios was a very welcoming host, sitting us down upon our arrival and pointing out some places of interest for during our stay. The room was exactly as it looked in the pictures (always a concern of mine) and was perfectly comfortable for a couple to stay in. With a private balcony that overlooked the ocean. It was clean upon arrival and cleaned everyday for when we returned back. The location is fantastic, being only a 30 second walk to St. George beach, where there are plenty of tavernas and bars to lounge at in between taking a dip in the ocean. It's also only a 5-10 minute walk into Chorra center, and sits infront of a seafront walk, so you can avoid all the traffic and just enjoy a relaxing walk along the coast. Don't miss out on the breakfast. Everything is fresh and flavourful. A fantastic stay all round.

It was incredibly humid while trying to sleep at night (obviously not the hotels fault). The air con didn't really do much. Maybe consider some standing fans. This won't deter me from staying here again.

Staff were very helpful. I arrived at 3 am due to a ferry delay and staff were waiting at the hotel to meet me. The breakfast was exceptional. It offered a choice of a wide of foods including sandwiches, cereal, yoghurt, boiled eggs and a wide variety of pastries. There is a variety of jams which are home made. The hotel is only a fifteen-minute walk to the ferry and a ten-minute walk to the town center. The room was a good size and had a balcony from which the sea was visible when seated outside. The hotel is located right next to St. George's beach. The owner and staff were friendly. The room had a high ceiling from which an old-fashioned lamp hung, so it was more like an older nineteenth or early twentieth century hotel with some character rather than a generic modern hotel. At the same time, the hotel had completely modern facilities and contemporary decor in the breakfast room.

Excellent location, 10-15 min walk from ferry pier, just off the beach (where there are great places to eat), 5 minutes from town where there is everything. Lovely and quiet away from the bustle. On arrival, the staff gave lots of great recommendations about where to eat, drink, where to visit which is so helpful when there is so much choice. Amazing sunsets every night. The hosts are friendly and were super helpful when my son sick. They care very much about the hotel and their patrons. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy all Naxos has to offer. We would happily stay there again.

The rooms didn’t really have great views.

We only stayed one night as we were continuing our journey to somewhere else but we were so glad we stopped here and had a chance to see a glimpse of Naxos! The hotel was really nice, the owner was very friendly and took time to greet us and explain things we might like to see/do. The nearby beach was really nice and we enjoyed walking round the town. Sad we did not get to explore any further but enjoyed our stay-the room was very comfortable with a nice view from the balcony and great shower! We didn’t have a chance to try the breakfast. Anyway thanks so much for a great stay!

Breakfast was great - lots of options. We were most impressed by the owner of the hotel, who sat us down and showed us the best places to go and things to see on the island. We were given complimentary wine during our stay as well. The view from our room was a picturesque scene of the sea and beaches.

The room was a little small for our taste and the bed was too firm/not really comfortable. While also a modern/romantic type room, we feel that separate shower area to the rest of the room would be beneficial.

The owner of this property is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He was extremely helpful and helped us plan our time in Naxos. The breakfast there was incredible. Everything is homemade, from the chutneys to the marmalade. The room was just perfect. Very clean, night, comfortable and relaxing. The location is fantastic. We had our best meal in Greece just footsteps from the hotel on the beach. The owner and his wife take so much pride in their property and it shows. I wish we had stayed longer, I cannot recommend this hotel and the kind hosts enough.

Amazing hospitality it felt like home. Love how it felt so personal and the owners were so accomodating. We were very happy and extended another night. Luckily the owners were so accomodating and provided us with a fantastic room. The breakfast was even better than anything we had in Naxos, from the inhouse homemade jams to desserts that had a story. That morning George made an amazing banoffee pie. Truly recommend this accomodation to everyone. From location to roooms to hospitatliy everything felt like home.
