From the moment we arrived, we felt very looked after.....Angelica and her husband were just brilliant with a very special mention to Dora, who was next in command! Thank you all for making us feel like part of your family. There is a fab beach and family run Dimello Restaurant 150m walk from the apartment....great food and service! The family run Panorama Restaurant should not be missed either, 150m walk. We took the bus to Aegina Town, which was an amazing trip too....WOW, just WOW. We want to be back there now.....thank you for all that you did for us Team AngelicaXXX Oh...and the view from our balcony... Oh...and the sunrises 🌅 I could go on and on.....

This place is one of the most beautiful and authentic Greek places I have ever stayed (and this is my 20th time on a Greek island). Even before booking the owners were fantastic in helping out with any queries and they greeted us with ice cream and gave us all water when we left. The place is very close to a beach that was almost deserted in the middle of July and the tourists there are mainly Greek. The apartment (stayed in the biggest of them) has great views over the ocean and even after 12 nights there I didn’t want to leave. The other woman helping out was very nice too, always friendly and welcoming to my children, they loved her. We loved that the pool was deserted most days, it is not many places that have that in the middle of school break. Also loved the fact that the property has bicycles you can use for free to eg go to the local supermarket (10 minutes by bike). Around a ten minutes walk from the hotel is a great hike into the mountains as well. We will definitely be coming back.

The only downside if I have to mention any was that the pool was closed from 2-5 pm due to siesta (and as I’m Scandinavian and don’t see the sun often all time that can be spent in the sun is a luxury), but after a day my children accustomed it to this and we enjoyed the quietness that followed with siesta. Also, the pool can be a little small once all rooms are occupied, but that didn’t happen often so not a problem for us.

Our stay at Blue Dolphin was brilliant. The pool is lovely and we could always get a couple of sun beds. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they literally could not do more for us and it was lovely. Very good breakfast. Very close to the beach and an excellent beach bar.

It’s obviously not the properties fault but it is worth noting there is not a shop in walking distance. You need a car to get to a shop and / or to get into town. Not a problem, you can get cabs but it’s worth knowing.

I CANNOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU WHAT A WONERFIUL STAY I(o extended it it for 3 days! ) HAD! THE VIEW IS AMAZINF, THE POOL IS FANTSTIC BUT THE BEST BY FAR WERE THE STAFF! Mrs.AGGELLIKI AND HER HUSBAND OWN THE PLACE WHO ARE JUST THE KINDEST NICEST MOST ACCOMMODATING PEOPLE EVER (and believe ive trravelled throughout the world) They have hearrty brealfast and in my xase because i afyrr a back probem they rruly helped navigate the stairs (no theres not a lot of of them bit with back preoblems it feells like 10 steeps is climing a mountain) there are no words to say an amazing experienxe i ahad! HIGHTLY HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT

The Blue Dolphin is a hidden gem. It is further from the main port but if you want a calm stay, in a lovely hotel with exceptionally kind hosts, Blue Dolphin is the choice. It’s a quick walk from a local beach that has two great fish restaurants on the beach. The morning breakfast served on the patio was fresh and the perfect way to start our morning on this beautiful island. We were so lucky to have stayed hete, it was one of the best parts of our trip.

I couldn't recommend this property enough, if there were more stars I would surely give them. The hosts are amazing. As soon as we arrived at Souvala port we were stranded there as the taxi booked didn't show up. Without any hesitation they came to pick up themselves. It was an amazing stay. Bus stop nearby, beaches near too. The place is really lovely, it has the quiet policy for 2pm-4pm so it's ideal for families with young kids. Always spotless and if ever going back to Aegina I know where I will book again.

We were very warmly welcomed by the daughter of the owners, and then the owners. They gave us a welcome ice cream and cold water, which was very kind during the day witzh temperatures of 35 degrees celsius. During our stay they were very polite, helpful and truely kind

Can't think of anything, perhaps the fact, that we only booked 4 nights. We would have loved to stay longer! In terms of facilities and shops: you need to walk 1.5 kilometers to the next supermarket, but otherwise, we liked the tranquility

Everything was simply great. The rooms were very clean .The view amazing from both sides, from balcony and the entrance door. The position was very good in a quiet area,there was a beach not far away from the hotel,not very deep and suitable for joung children. The family,that owns and works the hotel was very friendly. They were there for everything we needed. Because of a flight cancelation we arrived hotel at 11 o'clock in the evening instead at 11o clock in the morning. Mrs Angeliki was waiting for us and offered us ice cream, cold water and toast....Such a nice gesture. We definitely recommend it. Thank you Blue dolphin 🐬 for the very good experience. Keep on like that.

This is THE BEST HOTEL of Aegina and probably all the Greek islands - and that's thanks to the staff. The hotel was purchased by a Greek family of kind, generous people, amazing hosts who spoiled me with food and drinks, everything I asked for (and I asked for A LOT - vegan food, SOS laundry, extending my stay and even one emergency issue...) and they helped me above and beyond with a smile and a lot of love and gave me a feeling of home. Highly recommended for solo travelers, families and couples. As a female solo traveler I felt very safe and even met new friends in the hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent - it is an easy, short travel from the port to the less touristy area of the island - which means peace and quiet, good prices and you can walk or bike everywhere (I walked to Agia Marina beach and the road was beautiful) the hotel has bicycles that you can borrow, there is a big supermarket and excellent restaurants nearby, and you can rent a car or a motorcycle and travel the island. Recommended for weekends or an extended stay of a few days so you can enjoy everything the island has to offer.

I didn't like the fact that I had to leave.. but I will come back soon for sure (I extended my stay for another night because I just couldn't leave this beautiful place!)

We absolutely loved the place! The owners are super nice! Worth the trip just to meet this lovely family... Very helpful with everything we needed, be it our Laundry, transportation, early morning coffee before everyone even wakes up...you name it..they are there. As soon as we arrived there was free first beer for dad and ice cream for the kids... The room was clean and comfy, with nice ocean view, and the swimming pool is clean, deep and inviting. The beach is 2 minutes walk and the whole area is pleasant. I sure hope we get a chance to visit again. Loved it! Raphael from Israel.

There was nothing not to like. I must admit that hot water is a bit short if you wish to shower late in the evening, but that is only because the water is heated by solar panels, which I'm all in favore for. Just ask and they will turn the electric heater for you, you'll have hot water in 10 minutes.. Small price to pay for the best island life. I give them a 10.
