Location was superb, easy reach of beach and the excellent bars and restaurants. Choice at breakfast was adequate while great to have a coffee pot and not a machine! Rooms kept clean with everything you need.

The hotel pool is small with the sun blocked in areas by the trees but a minor problem with the beaches so close.

I loved everything about amaryllis hotel! My room was cleaned every day, exceptional attention to details. I had flowers and towels folded as swans, super special. Breakfast was excellent from coffee, juices, hot or cold teas to a scrumptious selections of homemade cakes, fruit, yogurts and plenty more. The welcoming was amazing! The staff were very helpful and always prompt to make you feel comfortable! The location was great as well. The beach, lots of restaurants, souvenirs shops, access to transportation were all nearby. A great hotel for its price. The rooms are spacious and clean, with bedding and towels changed daily. It’s in an excellent location near the beach, with plenty of restaurants and shops just minutes away. I especially want to highlight the friendly staff, particularly the hotel owner and his brother. The hotel also offers island tours, which is a nice bonus. There’s a good pool outside, though it’s not very deep, surrounded by loungers where you can relax. I must also mention the wonderful breakfast and the decent hotel restaurant. The place is quiet, and we didn’t hear the neighbors. We were lucky to stay on the second floor, which I think has a much better view.

It would be nice to have a wardrobe in the room and an additional shelf in the bathroom, but there are still enough places to store your things. The water quality could be better, though that's an issue across the whole island.

George and his brother are very welcoming and the staff are all very kind and they are always cleaning the hotel and swimming pool area. Good location just a few minutes walk from the beach and close to bars, restaurants and mini-market. Breakfast is basic and the same everyday but it's nice. The rooms are basic but the bed is comfortable and the Aircon works and I felt very safe here as a solo traveller!

No closets to put your clothes in just one rail with hangers, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and the towels could be a bit softer. These are just small things so overall I liked it.

A great stay with no complaints! From the moment we got there, we got a warm welcome from the staff. Our room was very clean, it got cleansed everyday. The breakfast was delicious! There was a big variety of things: fruit or vegetable salad, charcuterie and eggs (made a different kind of way everyday), delicious cake, great coffee, … Every morning we were ready to begin our day with a well-filled and pleased stomach. There are also many books in the hall that you can read, which is a nice touch. The pool was great! A good way to cool down when you had a big day of walking or going to the beach. As they say, it is very close to the beach and near a bus stop and many great restaurants (like the one they have which I recommend and is next to the hotel). Overall we had a nice service and great stay. Kind regards!

The manager of the hotel was very very good, helpful and hospitable, the best so far. Exceptional treatment. We had nil problems. The rooms balcony furnitures and bathrooms, linens were spotlessly clean and fresh. The restaurant and staffs served fresh and tasty food. The breakfast was good could have added fried sausages and bacon but just a recommendation. They provided us with a water boiler for tea in the room, iron, European plug overall we had a splendid stay. Sad to bid goodbye with the place and the staffs.

We didn’t like that it was cold to swim in the evenings as we tour the whole 2 days but the pool was so cute and clean we took photos there every morning after breakfast and evenings after tours

Really nice, small hotel. We liked everything about this place form very friendly, nice and helpful staff to the location! A minute walk or even less to a nice restaurant called Hellas, a really good bakery and a bus stop! 5-6 mins walk to the beach, which is big and long and nice restaurants. We paid a bit more to have a balcony and we got what we paid for, the view was beautiful. If you are not too fussy and you don’t expect super luxury, I really recommend Amaryllis hotel. The room was basic, but had everything we needed, a comfy bed with clean sheets, tv etc. Breakfast was included in the price. Our flight back was late in the evening and we were offered to leave our bags at the hotel and even more we could use shower to refresh before the flight, we even got clean towels all free of charge! Santorini is beautiful and safe. We were there in April and it was perfect! Not too busy and not too hot!

The reception staff (Cosco in particular) were very helpful and kind. Cosco gave us honest feedback and clear directions on how to plan our own tour to the volcano (to take the express bus at the most convenient time, etc.). The night receptionist also was very helpful with our early checkout and booking the shuttle for us. Our room directly overlooked the pool and had some beautiful flowers right outside. We would definitely recommend staying here for a value for money stay in Santorini and quick access to the beach Perissa.

There was a strange smell every time after we showered. The water was salty (but this seems to be a standard across Santorini)

Hotel was perfect only a short walk to the black beach and bars and restaurants,staff were so welcoming,kostas at the front desk was a gentleman and the rest of the staff made sure our holiday was perfect. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits santorini. Food in the hotel was delicious aswell 😋

Bed in our room wasn’t great but apart from that everything else was great

The location of the property was ideal. In the centre, set a little back from the main road. Large car park nearby along with tavernas, supermarkets and a bakery. A short walk to the beach and the hotel had a small pool too with a handful of sun loungers and places to sit. The hotel was exceptionally clean, breakfast was amazing and all the staff were super friendly.

If we’d been staying for longer than four nights we would have needed more storage space but it was perfect for our needs. We stayed in the basement so the balcony felt a bit closed in. If we were to stay again we’d ask to be on the ground or first floor.
