Well designed, good quality clean and very comfortable accommodation.

Despite asking for my arrival time, I waited 25 minutes to get inside.

Excellent location, just a few minutes’ walk from the ferry port and the waterfront bars and restaurants. It felt very clean and comfy and had everything you could need in a hotel room. They’ve put some effort into styling (modern cement-look shower recess and nice floor rug) so it’s not a boring, sterile hotel room. A staff member (the owner?) came out the front to greet me and carried one of my bags up the three flights of narrow stairs. I was carrying extra luggage so this was very much appreciated.

Not a dislike, but be aware of the need to navigate narrow stairs with your luggage. I’m sure this would also apply to many of the other accommodation places on Skiathos. The written communication about bus stops/bus availability prior to my arrival was unhelpful and ultimately misleading (as it turned out, there was no bus at all due to it being winter) but the in-person attitude when I arrived was far more friendly and helpful.

Location. A block away from the ferry port Lovely views from the balcony. Was met at the building - no need for phone calls and waiting outside the door.

I've stayed here before and it is clear that some minor maintenance is needed to bring it back to its previous pristine condition. It is still good value for money. No Internet in my Room 302. If you want the internet you need to go down to the foyer. The toilet cistern mechanism is faulty and it overflows. .Toilet roll holder and shower head holder are worn out and need replacing.

Very comfy bed. Handy for ferry and taxi rank. Good shower and lots of hot water.

. I found the two flights of steep stairs difficult as I have bad knees and get very short of breath especially with luggage. They were quite dark. Maybe paint the steps themselves white …. In the morning the electric went off. The key was in the slot. With the bathroom door shut and no window it was very dark and so we didn’t see the fuse box. The first fuse had tripped. Perhaps this could be mentioned to the guests on arrival.

Stayed here twice in one week. the rooms are spotless and comfortable. I had a standard double the first time then the room on the top floor with a balcony and sea views, I would pay extra to stay there again as the balcony was huge and the room much bigger with a kitchenette. Super close to the ferry dock.

No lifts so suitcases a bit tough to take up the stairs.

Everything was amazing, the facilities, the location, the terrace,...we would definitely like to come back...

Maybe a small suggestion for improvement - one extra key for each room. People in the same room can have a different program and an extra key for independent access would be nice.

The staff were all brilliant, helping us with all our luggage up & down the many stairs when we arrived and when we left. The room itself was particularly well appointed, with great double glazing and insulation. Teas & coffees were provided, plus a Krupps machine, which was unexpected. The shower was also brilliant, as were the shampoos & gels provided. And the bed!!! If you want a great night’s sleep, stay here. I honestly can’t think of a single negative about Architectonica - and next time we’re in Skiathos, that’s where we’ll stay!

Central location, close to port and bus station. Variety of shops, restaurants and travel agencies. Nikos on reception was helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed the ‘community’ feel in the hotel neighbourhood.

The steep circular steps may prove a problem for elderly travellers...although Nokia insisted on carrying our bags up for us! Appreciated!

Very conveniently located in the town for an overnight stop. Kettle for tea and coffe a big plus. Our third stay.

No problem for us, but we had to phone for someone to let us in. The spiral staircase is not so easy with luggage but the friendly lady who welcomed us offered to help.
