The location was excellent, with a perfect view of the sunset. Our room also had a heated private infinity pool, which means we could enjoy it even if the weather wasn't great. The staff was also exceptional, going all out to fulfill all my requests, especially the one for a romantic setup for a proposal, which went great!

The hotel is incredibly nice, clean and well located. Just in the heart of Oia with an amazing sunset view from our jacuzzi. The staff and especially Boian (sorry if I misspelled his name) went above and beyond to provide us the best customer service and care possible. I would recommend this place a thousand times.

The breakfast was perfect and as selected and on time, because they serve it to your room terrace which in our case was on the private pool. I have to put a word for a guy (Amr or Saki as he is called there) as he met us at the Taxi when checking in, and he carried the bags alone all the way down (maybe 70 steps) and was so helpful and friendly and always checked on our needs during our stay, serving breakfast and lastly carry our luggage back up when we checked out, always with a smiling face. Good job Saki and thank you. Good job for the management and thank you all for a memorable stay.

We needed to climb up and down lots of stairs every time we wanted to go somewhere and come back. But that was fine with us.

On arrival, one of the staff members met us the post office to help with our bags. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the post office, going down the stairs. I would recommend, that you store your bags (if you have large, heavy bags) at the luggage storage stores on the main road and pack a lighter bag for your stay. The stairs going down are steep and slippery and will not recommend big bags, although the staff do help. The staff are VERY friendly and welcoming and ensure you have a great stay. The rooms are very spacious with a dressing room and a clean bathroom. The bed and linen are clean and comfortable, Fresh towels were provided daily. The views are AMAZING, hence the reason I booked this hotel. I had the best sunset views, no crowds, quite, uninterrupted views, from my room as well as the poolside. The pool is so refreshing. This was something I looked forward to every evening, coming back to the hotel and enjoying the sunset. The blue domed churches are like 7mins away and very easy to find. I got there at 6.30 to get my photo opp. Further past the hotel, you can get to Amoudi Bay. The famous Helios photo spot is just a few steps away from the hotel. Everything! Definitely a great option for a romantic getaway. It’s a small, adults-only, boutique hotel with million dollar views. Every room faces the sea and watching the sunset at the hotel is a great option to avoid the crowds. The room was tastefully decorated and was even more spacious than it appeared in the photos. The staff were amazing, professional and friendly. Breakfast was served on our private balcony and was delicious. Yes, there are a few stairs to descend (it’s Santorini!) but not too many and the staff carried the luggage all the way from the transfer meeting point to the hotel - just a five min easy walk with just a few stairs towards the end that you need to mind your step on. Absolutely recommend this hotel!

The location was great! 5 minutes from the center of everything. We were literally able to watch the sunset from the comfort of our room. The staff was exceptional, extremely friendly and very responsive.

Before booking you should know that there will be ALOT of steps to get to the hotel. We didn't think it was a problem because our hosts were very thorough and had gentlemen come and carry our luggage to our room for us which was a HUGE help.

Everything was perfect. Definitely the best sunset view in Santorini. Great options for breakfast served in the room. The hosts Bojan and Giorgos were very friendly, always here to help us and gave us good recommendations for the island. We really appreciate to have become help with the luggage, because there are too many steps and it’s almost impossible for two ladies to reach the destination. We’ll definitely come back in the near future!

This hotel is fantastic! Service was excellent, facilities are well maintained. Breakfast was plenty, delicious, delivered every morning to your private patio, with the view of the caldera. The private pools are great but the common pool has an unobstructed view of the sunset. Excellent place.

We liked everything. The hotel is located mid to low cliff, therefore be aware of the steps. The hotel carries your bags for check in/check out.

Amazing place with great views of Caldera and Oia! We booked a normal room but once we got there we had a free upgrade and they provided us a room with private pool, jacuzzi and breakfast on the terrace of our suite! Staff were friendly and polite! The views are breathtaking We loved Old Castle and would come back at any time! Highly recommended it!

The views from this property were amazing! We also got upgraded as it was our honeymoon so we had a pool where we could watch the sunset from it was amazing. It was a really peaceful and relaxing stay and the staff were all very nice.

The walk to get there and back was really intense. It’s half way down the cliff so it’s quiet steep and getting back up is definitely a work out! I wouldn’t recommend for anyone that has mobility issues or health problems. However the staff were great and they helped us with our luggage getting there and leaving.
