Excellent location close to all amenities needed and the best beach in Santorini. All of the staff made us feel warm and welcome. When we arrived there was an issue with our room, and George put us up in an even better room with free breakfast and gave us the choice of an upgraded room for the rest of the trip. We want to say a huge thank you to Irene who went above and beyond every day to make us feel comfortable and help guide us around the island with recommendations to car hire, restaurants, parking and local things to do. The service was impeccable. The sun loungers are free on the beach for the hotel, and the staff are very attentive to drinks and food when required! We can’t thank you enough and would give you over 10 stars!!

My husband and I chose Thousand Stars for our honeymoon and my goodness I am so glad we did. Irene (our lovely host) sorted taxis for us to and from the airport which removed the only stressful part of the holiday. Irene was a fantastic host; booking taxis and day trips so we could explore the island. Would recommend visiting the heart of Santorini after a day in Oia or Fira! The room was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. We even had flower petals decorating the bed which was a lovely touch. We will definitely come back to stay as we had such a fantastic trip. The hot tub on the balcony was a perfect way to start the day (especially when we could hear the sea). Thank you so so much.

Beachfront central location, staggered room layout, private jacuzzi on the terrace, design & decor of our room. Calmness of pool surroundings, bar & restaurant provision. Fantastic sea view from our terrace. Immaculately clean environment. George, Irene & all staff made us feel so welcome, always attentive but not intrusive with some nice touches that made you feel more family than guests.

Nothing we didn’t like about it. Being very picky but a few more clothes hangers & a full length mirror would complete the room.

Manager and Staff: George, Irena and apologies, I did not catch the other ladies name, could not have been more friendly or helpful and they made our holiday a wonderful stay. Room: Rooms were recently refurbished and are lovely as shown in the pictures. When we arrived, our room was next to the pool, although lovely a bit small for our weeks stay and I was worried about privacy as when opening the door people from the pool could see directly into our room, but we did work around this. George offered the option of changing rooms, for 2 days we could stay in an upgraded sea view room at no extra charge, the room was lovely, but booked after this or to change to a larger room with views at the back of the building, which was lovely, but the view was not as good as on the front. You have tea and coffee facilities, shampoo and shower gel (replenished daily) and a fridge, which we found really handy. The room is cleaned daily. The pool is lovely at the beginning of September, we did need to move to different areas around the pool to find the sun, which for us was not a problem, it was quiet, we believe most people go to the beach, it is really hot still, so most people would welcome the shade. Location: The location was great and could not have been better. The hotel is a few steps away from the beach. Also on the main strip of local bars and restaurants, which sit across the water front with lovely views of both the sea and local mountain range. But still in a quiet location, with no noise disturbance at all during our break. Local supermarkets along the strip and a larger one, by the local Football pitch. Also a lovely local patisserie selling home made rolls/cakes. Local Tours: Irena and team will organise tours and is very helpful. The tour of 2 villages, wine tasting and Oia is worth doing, you will only get an hour in Oia for the sunset, so you may want to return. Ergon Restaurant in Fira is a MUST, most stunning views at sunset, 20 minutes by local bus.

Let me start off by saying that this hotel did not disappoint. I made a request saying that it was my wife’s birthday and if they could do decorate the room or something to surprise my wife. Irene took charge and enthusiastic about making my plans happen. We had the largest suite directly above the check in area with a pool on the balcony overlooking the ocean the promenade. The room was large and plenty of space. Irene even brought us complimentary fruits in our fridge, drinks, wine and snacks. Irene also told me she purchase a cake and was going to do balloons and decorations. She went above any beyond and let me tell you, she exceeded expectations. She also provided another bottle of moscato on the day of my wife’s birthday. When I asked if I could repay her, she said absolutely not because she wanted to see the looks on our faces and the joy when we walked into our room. If you choose to stay here, you’re in good hands. Thank you Irene for all your help and commitment to make our day that much more special.

The room was very spacious, bed was incredibly comfortable and the large fridge was regularly restocked by staff. Talking of Staff without doubt this places greatest asset is Irene who made every effort to make us feel at home and relaxed. My birthday was during holiday and I was surprised with a lovely chocolate cake!!

The plunge pool outside our room is overlooked by local housing and there were no sun loungers around pool due to restaurant placing tables there instead.

We booked a seaview room with jacuzzi. I would highly recommend it. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable to sleep on. We heard no noise from the bars or restaurants on the street. The jacuzzi was clean and worked very well. The beach is directly in front of the hotel with complimentary sunbeds for hotel guests. The staff are exceptional! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating whenever we asked for assistance. They even helped organize a surprise for our anniversary which was very kind and generous. We also had several meals in the Elixir bar next door which is owned by the same family and the food there was delicious with good variety (and the best baklava I had in Santorini). I could not fault anything at this hotel. It was the highlight of our trip.

The location was really perfect. There was a lovely pool right at our doorstep and the beach was just a few steps away. Happy there was always place for my mom and me to just lay down and enjoy. You will get beach towels in your room. The staff was so helpful, especially Irene and George. Whatever we needed, they were there. Such lovely people too. Loved the street with all the restaurants and souvenir shops. Made a few trips to Firostefani and Oia too.. Which was quite busy I have to say, so we were happy to stay in Kamari where it felt less busy and for some reason a bit more breezy, which was what we needed too. Loved our stay..oh and the unlimited complimentary water, coffee, tea, biscuits etc.. And a bottle of wine, which we didn't drink but thank you so much.

Not a big problem for us and maybe it was just in our room, but we couldn't really hang your clothes in the bathroom. There was space on the wall to put a rack or something to hang towels or clothes.. That's just a tip.. Other than that it was really perfect.

This property is on Kamari beach. The hotel and beach were literally steps away from each other. Towels and chairs were included on the beach (and pool). This is a small property, but having the owner onsite made us feel well taken care of. George (owner) and Irene were exceptional. Irene met us at the shuttle stop and carried our bags to the property and up to our room!! Both of them were always available for any questions, requests, or help. They helped us set up transportation to Oia so we wouldn't have to take multiple busses to get there and back. Irene brought us water whenever we requested it (and even when we didn't). There were sodas, juice and snacks in our refrigerator. Also coffee maker and tea kettle in the room, Irene set up dinner reservations and 2 city tours. Makis (our driver) was great and informative, telling us about the history of Santorini. By the time we left Santorini we felt like we were leaving family!! Breakfast was not included but there were many options in the area including across the street [at a sister property--Elixir del Mar--great breakfast! Get the waffle.] We arranged pickup to and from the port through the hotel (for a small fee). Transfer information was arranged through messaging and George/Irene answered promptly. Don't be afraid to message them with questions (through Booking.com or through WhatsApp), they will get right back to you. I don't have a bad thing to say about this resort. We miss George and Irene already!!!!

Honestly there was nothing we didn't like. If we could have we would have extended our stay.

A fantastic locations and hotel. Irene makes you so welcome and cannot do enough for you. The added extra of the hot tub in the room balcony made it extra special. The pool was immaculate and there was access to a free private beach. The property was immaculate and the hard working team kept it that way. Fruit, cold drinks and snacks in the room were much appreciated. We enjoyed this place so much we have booked to go back again before we left.
