The hotel is situated at a lofty height like a solitaire, framed by a green mountain landscape. Even at the height of summer, the climate is pleasant and as soon as the sun goes down, it cools down noticeably. With the windows open (insect screens are installed here as standard), you can often sleep wonderfully without air conditioning. The peace and quiet at night naturally does the rest. The food is delicious. The fresh ingredients come almost exclusively from their own garden and you are reminded of what tomatoes can really taste like. The dishes are mainly Greek home cooking. The biftekia are the best I have ever tasted. And on top you get a sweet delicacy, also homemade. The perfect finish! The best comes at the end. The staff are consistently warm, courteous and always available for our requests. This applies to everyone who works there: Reception, restaurant and housekeeping. All reasons to definitely come back.

The hotel is located just outside of the mountain town of Thermo. We were there for a baptism, namesday celebration, and holy day of the Virgin Mary. The village is lively and beautiful, and staying at Thermo Apollon is a quiet getaway from Thermo village celebrations. The property is immaculate with lovely flowers, decorative trees and a great pool for relaxation.

More variety in the breakfast menu. Scrambled eggs, fresh village bread, Greek cheeses, and olives would be excellent.

Clean and very spacious rooms, with many facilities. A trully idyllic place.

The rooms were a bit outdated and the couch-bed for the extra person was hard and not comfortable.

Great breakfast. Beautiful views from stone cottages. Nice pool when quiet in the morning. When it's shut in the evening it's relaxing to sit for a drink and meal by it. Lovely food. Mario great restaurant and bar manager.

Says spa shower but they are old and blocked by calcium. They need replacing with simple overhead shower.

The hotel is well maintained and the room we received was more like a 5 star than a 3, large, well equipped and in great condition! The position of the hotel is good just above the village center. Our only reservation is there was no one in the reception hall when we arrived and we spent 20 minutes just looking for someone who could check us in... the place seemed deserted. This is surely not an issue during high season when all staff are on hand, yet it gave an uneasy feeling during the stay..

The staff was AMAZING. A gem in the mountains. Clean every one treated me with respect and kindness. Olga at reception is a joy with an open heart. The owner and his wife made sure you had everything you needed.

The only downside to this amazing place is the wifi is a little temperamental.

Beautiful setting, very friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable hotel with a nice pool and terrace and a restaurant on the premises. Easy breakfast option.

Shame the morning pool hours are relatively limited. We had two rooms, air conditioning was quite weak in one room. In the end, we slept comfortably, though.

I booked this stay for a family of 14 people, it was a lovely place to stay. All the staff go above to make sure we were all well looked after. The food was good, the pool and other facilities were really good, especially the indoor and outdoor play area for the children, it gave us a break to enjoy our food or swimming while the children were entertained. We visited the twin waterfalls which is 20 min drive and had a great time swimming. There's also a fantastic place 9 mins drive to watch the sunset. A bonus to us was also that the food was really tasty and the owner and members of staff made us feel like family. Thank you ❤️
