A Hidden Gem in Tinos! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel in Tinos, Greece, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality that truly set the tone for our entire stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk from both the beach and the charming town center, making it easy to explore all that Tinos has to offer. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated with a blend of modern comforts and traditional Cycladic style. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed, including fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a well-equipped bathroom. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything fresh and tidy. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, always ready to help with recommendations, from the best local restaurants to hidden spots around the island. They made us feel like part of the family, which added a special touch to our trip. We also took advantage of the hotel’s breakfast buffet, which was a highlight of our mornings. The spread included fresh pastries, local cheeses, yogurt with honey, and a selection of fruits and juices. It was the perfect way to start each day before heading out for sightseeing. If you’re planning a trip to Tinos and want a peaceful retreat with amazing service, I highly recommend this hotel. I can’t wait to return! 🌊💙

everything was perfect

The breakfast everyday was a great touch, very good mix. Sitting around In the mornings we met people from all over. Our family had 4 of the 18 rooms and we were close together. Susan was awesome she got us a Taxi to take us around for the day to see all the Island that we would not have been able to take in. The rooms were quaint, charming so clean and airy. Loved the location so close to town. St Nicks was breathtaking. Thespina the owner was so nice and accommodating we may have our rooms picked out for next year at Easter Time. !

Onar is an excellent hotel to spend your holiday in Tinos. The staff are helpful, smiley and very attentive. The view from our suite is possibly the best in the island. We totally enjoyed our room; the whole design merged comfort, style and Cycladic design totally immersing you to a Greek island experience. Breakfast was amazing, you could enjoy local sweet and savoury options and they could make your custom iced coffee too, which is a bonus. Thank you for everything Onar team. We are hoping to come back soon!

All were great!

The hotel is nicely appointed, the staff is fantastic and they serve a delicious breakfast. Their location is great - up the street from the port and an easy 7-minute walk into the center of Chora. However, they are in a quiet street, away from the busy touristy areas. There was plenty of street parking in front of the hotel. We will definitely stay here again during our next visit to Tinos.

We loved the hotel. Even though they serve a great breakfast, it would be nice to have an expresso machine in the room.

The location was perfect and the view amazing

The jacuzzi is rather a bath tub as it had just a few weak jets. Since this was a reason why we have chosen this room it was a dissapointment. The breakfast was quite average. The food is served on one small table for the whole hotel so everyone needs to hold a tray to pick the food and find a spot where to put it. We had to cover the escape light above the door with our jacket as it was so bright in the night we could not sleep.

love this hotel. although the pool is small i had it to myself every time i swam. hotel is in a fabulous location , a very short walk to town but incredibly quiet. susan was a mine of info. and made our stay perfect.

just a small thing but nowhere to put toiletries in bathroom although its massive ! and no hooks to hang towels. You have to be careful not to lock yourself out on the balcony as no handle on outside of door!!

Location,our suite had a sea view looking over the harbour.The property has been built to incorporate many traditional Cycladic features. The rooms and suites are spacious and pristine. The Greek breakfasts were amazing.Most of all we were made to feel so welcome.Susan who is Greek/Australian could not have done more for us. The property is only 10 minutes walk to the beautiful Tinos town, with lots of fantastic shops and restaurants.

The only thing we were missing was more hooks in the bathroom for towels and/or swim suits etc.

The Onar Suites are situated within a 5 minute walk from the port, as we found out after taking a taxi journey that lasted 2 minutes! The Hotel is really lovely. We were a family of 4, two of them teenagers sharing a family suite. The kids were happy there was wifi and Netflix available and a dipping pool for when they wanted to cool off from their viewing. There was a balcony where we could sit and read and almost shut out the sounds of TV. The location of the suite is excellent for walking to and from the main town centre for food, town life or the supermarket. The breakfast at the hotel is exceptional. So much to choose from, you just want to try all of it! Every day I tried to have a little bit of the delights that were on offer, but torn between choosing what'd I'd tried and knew was delicious! This was the best breakfasts I've ever been served abroad. The staff themselves are incredibly helpful - Susan went out of her way to give us directions, recommendations, and general tips for the best way to spend our time on the island and we really made use of her advice. We would highly recommend staying here.

Aside from the beautiful hotel, great location, Onar staff made this an incredible vacation, hence 10/10. They were amazing- attentive and truly wanted to ensure we were always comfortable. The breakfast was delicious AND homemade which was something we never experienced before. Our hotel room was gorgeous and clean, the view was amazing
