Loved the central location in Varkiza, it’s a gorgeous affordable old boutique hotel 5 mins walk to the beach. I was given room 506 which had a lovely view and all the amenities for the price were fantastic. The staff were all amazing. Being a solo traveller I felt very safe in this area and the street had everything you need pharmacy medical centre restaurants bars bakeries etc. ps I walked about a km to the left along the highway to find a gorgeous restaurant on the beach where the views and staff were amazing.

Only the toilet which kept running but for the price who cares.

This is not a luxury hotel but it for sure deliver great quality for its price. If you're looking for a clean, spacious flat for a good price, I for sure recommend this place. The location was perfect, close to many restaurants, supermarkets, Varkiza beach resort and with very easy access to Athens via public transportation. The room was clean and everything worked as expected. super friendly staff and nice swimming pool to relax in the very warm days.

our room was a bit noisy and we could hear other guests arriving in the night, not a huge deal but its something to consider if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast was simple but nice, our soon is a picky eater and he missed some variation in the morning but for the price you pay its definitely worth it

Don't get fooled by the negative reviews. We stayed 10 days here and couldn't have had a better stay. Breakfast is simple, eggs, cheese, cereal, fruit, delicious lemon cake.. the staff were so friendly and made it feel like a wee family. The pool is perfect and safe with plenty of loungers and chairs. The room is basic but air conditioning works and was cleaned every day. A special mention must be made for the staff. The owner herself made sure everyone was happy and the reception staff were very helpful.

I was totally satisfied with my stay and will come back again.

My brother (24M) and I (25M) booked a five-night stay at the Stefanakis Hotel, and were overall extremely satisfied with the experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and forthcoming, which created a relaxing atmosphere during our stay. Our room was clean, and room service tidied up the room every morning. The breakfast was moderate but good, and the location of the hotel was five walking minutes away from the beach or from the next bus station that takes you to Athens. The pool area was very clean, the pool was considerably large, and we got fresh towels from the Hotel. The room had an AC and a balcony. Altogether, we really enjoyed it here, and the staff‘s hospitality really made the stay. I would definitely recommend booking here if you are looking for a good price-to-service option.

At night it happened sometimes that loud guests would go to their room and make noise.

The breakfast was so good!! It was healthy and suggests some authentic greek components that we enjoyed a lot! The Staff was super duper kind, they are adorable! The staff people were also super patient, be it during the breakfast service or during the whole rest of the day! They always smile and ask if everything is going well! The beach is very close to the hotel, and it is amazing! we could go whenever we want adn gte back directly to our room in the hotel easily! The location of the hotel is also very close to two super markets and a mini market. There are also many good restaurants near it and ince cream places and also good bakeries. In short, it was an amzing journey worth repeating!

The location is great, within 5 minutes to the beach, bakeries, shops and restaurants. The hotel is super clean and the staff very welcoming and helpful. Everything functioned perfectly. Ask at the reception if the hotel guests have preferential rates for beach entrance, as the prices are rather high.

The breakfast was decent but could have been more varied. The external unit of the AC was positioned in a way to blow hot air directly on the seating area so we could not actually use the balcony.

Everything was clean and well kept, super friendly and helpful staff, always with a smile. They offered us free cold water bottles every day. The communal area are clean and well kept. The pool clean and never full or noisy. The rooms even a bit old style are clean and spacious with big balconies. The air conditioner work very well. And a good and rich breakfast.

The only thing If someone has to find the problem, would be nice not to have shower curtain, would be best a solid panel. But is not really a problem, in any way.

The room is perfect with gorgeous blue and white decor, and a balcony that was bigger than any place we had stayed in Greece so far. You have the bonus of a fridge and a safety box. The staff are exceptional, so friendly and they graced us with early check in, provided a very good priced bar in the evening and a nice buffet breakfast (eggs, yoghurt, salad, jam, honey toast and more) in the morning. The dining room is really lovely. You are a 5 minute walk from the beach! Little marts and restaurants everywhere.

Love this hotel - second time there. It’s basic (compared to business hotels and I was there for work) but extremely comfortable and with a great relaxed vibe. The staff get 10/10… wonderful people who couldn’t do enough for us. The area, Vari is fantastic - a quiet, village-like suburb with a lovely beach and nice bars, coffee shops etc.

Nothing really. Value for money is outstanding. If you want more choice at breakfast, pop out to a nearby bakery. The service, vibe and hospitality are what counts here

What I did like about the property: Good size rooms, 2 balconies which was nice. Air con is excellent & keeps the living areas very cool. I think I may have misunderstood because I assumed from the pictures/description that there was a living space as well as 2 bedrooms, but it was only 2 sleeping areas, the kitchen, bathroom + balconies. The pool is fabulous & very well kept, it is only 11am until 6pm, this was not stated on the description. Staff are very friendly and helpful, they’re happy to help with anything you need. The breakfast is lovely, a nice choice of food, it’s 7:30am until 10am. I like that there’s cats everywhere, I like to be surrounded by cats, it makes me very happy. You can park directly outside because they put cones there, but spaces are limited to about 3/4 cars. It is very close to a beach which is great, but you do have to pay to go on that beach, for me & my 2 daughters is was about €20 (not including sun beds).

What I did not like about the property: Very basic, I had to buy things for kitchen (tea towel, extra cutlery, etc). Appliances a bit dated, the fridge door comes open if you don’t check it properly, the kettle lid doesn’t open, just small things that could do with a little update. Lights are a bit dim, couldn’t really see what we was doing in the evening. We put the sofa on the large balcony, because only 3 chairs were there, no table or anything. Water is extremely hot, a warning about this would’ve helped, I’m glad it was me that put my hands under the hot tap first & not my kids. The walls are very thin, it’s only a sliding door that separates the 2 rooms, so whoever is in the back room has to walk through the other room to get to the kitchen bathroom.
