We had a small flat with a full kitchen and kitchen table and chairs, large bedroom with TV and a balcony. 1-1/2 bath. It suited us just fine and was very comfortable! It was great to be able to cook breakfast and make lunch to take away. The location was great for sightseeing just blocks from the Opera and many, many good restaurants and cafes. Loved the space and the tall ceilings - and those marvelous older windows that are tall and open (French doors) onto the balcony that overlooks the pedestrian access to eateries and shopping. We had no trouble sleeping. Shower and bath worked fine. The main office (different building) was very nice and responsive. It was great to have the small lift. A wonderful stay!

Would have been nice to have kitchen stocked with salt, pepper, oil, and washing soap. Just basic kitchen supplies that aren't sold in small quantities that are needed. Who wants to buy full size when you'll be there for 2-3 days?

Very central, right by the Metro, St Stephens Basilica just a 5 min walk away and a Lidls round the corner - what more could one want! 😄 Also there was a lift which was useful. Istvan, the concierge, was very helpful.

There was nothing l didn’t really like about the property, but for the fact there was only one toilet/shower and 4 rooms with potentially 8 people wanting to use it at the same time! If the shower and toilet were separate, that would be been slightly better, but all in one room? Although there was a main kitchen upstairs, the small kitchen could have at least had a microwave and a few more pieces of crockery, rather than having to go upstairs to use the main kitchen. However, like a Boomerang, l would definitely stay there again.

Basic but very clean facilities, we had a private room with shared bathroom with 4 other apartments on the floor but most weren't occupied so it was almost our own. Pretty good kitchen facilities and equipment to allow us to cook a little. Great value for money! Great location just off the Arany Janos ter (off of Metro line 3)

The only bad part was it's hard to find at night in the dark because streets are confusing and change names from block to block. Go on the metro or bus to Arany Janos Ter (square), just north of St. Istvan's Basilica, and Bank Utca is just off the far corner of the square, Bank Utca 7 is the corner building. Small sign, look for buzzer.

I liked the fact that they were really kind with me and partner, f2f but also through the chat. I liked the room, the fact that I did an early check in, that we had a locker after the check out. It was a really nice accomodation. The kitchen of the apartment was really nice equipped and we had everything we needed. For sure we will come back

Maybe next time you can insist a little bit more on the cleaning, in the sense that I found some hair on the bedsheets, which I removed myself. And also put at least 2 towels per person, please. One is not enough. Sometimes it was noisy, the sounds were coming from the lower floor and you could've hear some things from there, but I ignored it.

Good location, close to the center. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Friendly staff answered all questions. In a word, I liked it. The bathroom is shared, but I didn't even feel it. They also gave us 2 towels each. I recommend.

I am amazed at how nice my room was. I was in complete shock with how modern and clean and spacious it was. I felt very comfortable in the room and cosy. It was very central and a brilliant place to stay for our few days here in budapest. If i was to come to budapest again i would book this place again for sure. Many thanks to Istvan who collected us from the airport late at night and brought us back to the accomadtion. The staff are also very nice and helpful.

I was kind of disappointed that there was no tv which maybe later down the line one will be added into rooms as there in the middle of renovating the place up also that the beds were a little hard but nothing to uncomfortable. None of this actually affected my stay anyhow.

The property are nearest to the M2 station which is Arany János street just go to the left upon arrival to the station 3 minutes and if you ride M3 Kossuth Lajos tér just 9 minutes walk very convenient to all groceries store at the same building nearest tourist attraction walking distance as well the hostel are so clean if you want to cook or something fridge kettle microwave sink tables plates utensils toiletries showeroom blower towels tissue are available too the room is full renovated it so relaxing to stay I highly recommend this Hostel and also the staff are great all of them are nice they are great people accommodating 👏 they also offer a locker for me coz I’m living for an hour so after my appointment I will get my stuff they are 100% nice 😊 people so far.. don’t be hesitate to stay here you will enjoy the place..

The Property is nice but one thing is the small signage from the Address but you will also notice the number of the building 7 so that’s all..

I and my two children aged 11 and 13 stayed here. I’d never used a hostel before and I have no idea why I’ve never done it! Room was large with very comfy beds. The location was 10-15 minutes walk from major attractions, underground station is outside the block, supermarket at the back and the area was quiet at night, but very central. I also noticed there were shampoos in the bathroom, perhaps left by other guests, but useful if you’d forgotten yours. It’s basic, but then you’re out all day so it’s just for sleeping. The set up is a little unconventional as the main reception and kitchen is on the 2nd floor and our room was on the floor below (there are bathroom facilities on both floors and a fridge) so you have to go up to use the kitchen. There were bedrooms on the 2nd floor, just not ours! The staff were helpful and spoke good English. The evening reception gentleman was super friendly (I never got his name, sorry) and insisted we try the Hungarian dish he’d made that day, ingredients purchased at 5am from a farmers market-delicious! On our last day we checked out at 10am but could store our luggage in lockers in reception. We were given a day key and we could still use the kitchen and bathrooms it’s just the bedroom that needed to be vacated so it could be made ready for the next guests. I’m now going to hunt out hostels as Boomerang has been such a pleasant experience.

Perhaps a little tired and could do with a repaint, but that’s just cosmetic.

The location is quite central, metro station and main street are very close. Room's space is enough for 2 person. Reception is on the 2nd floor, rings were not working. You should knock the door or call the host.
